Rosehall and where could it actually be? Let’s research!

I’ve seen this image floating around online and as a person who has the colouring book, this is Tamlin’s manor and not Rosehall. So this can be debunked straight away!

Now after googling Rosehall, there IS an actual place with that name! We all know that ACOTAR is based on the UK and Europe, when it comes to the map provided with the book. We also know that Night Court is on top of the map where Scotland is.

Now when googling Rosehall, it shows you where the manor is situated!

When going onto the wikipedia page of Rosehall, this is the information that it is providing:

Rosehall is a remote hamlet in the Parish of Creich near the confluence of the River Cassley and the River Oykel, 1 mile northwest of Altass, in Sutherland, Scottish Highlandsand is in the Scottish council area of Highland. It is the site of the main road bridge over the Cassley, which is just downstream from the spectacular Achness Waterfall, commonly known simply as the Cassley Falls.

Putting the two images together, you can see that Rosehall is actually situated OUTSIDE of the illyrian mountains! It makes the most sense for the manor to be in NC so Azriel can be close to his mum.Of course this is just a theory, but it’s odd for Sarah to use that name, and something AS similar has come up with a simple google search! If there’s anything else people would like to add, feel free!

I’m sorry to come into your ask box with negativity but I am just so fed up and needed to rant.

The artist Jessdraw.s just released a BEAUTIFUL elriel artwork on their Twitter and within a few hours a gwynriel artist (llibiarts) stole the piece and redesigned elain as gwyn.

How does no one understand that this is theft? Like are gwynriel artists so lacking that they have to continue to steal from elriel artists? They can’t come up with their own designs? And to remind everyone, jessdraw.s was also the first artist to come out with the drawing where azriel is behind the girl of choice (elain) holding her breasts as she takes a pic. And within hours so many artists were stealing her artwork for their own ships (gwynriel artist vmiae was the first to steal).

If you’re going to steal a design from any artist, for the love of god give them the credit they deserve even if you don’t like their ship. It just looks pathetic when a gwynriel “artist” releases a plagiarized artwork a few hours after the original elriel piece is released. It’s like they’re either trying to one up elriel every time their artists release anything (pro tip: if you stay in your own tags, you won’t see our art) or they are so jealous at the creativity our artists show that they steal their work out of spite. Pathetic.

And I feel exactly the same way. I saw the gwynr*el post that copied Jess’s work last night and it made me so angry, because I remember the same thing happening to her not too long ago.

This is unacceptable, and as another artist, it makes my skin crawl. Plus, I have a feeling it was done maliciously. I don’t need to get into the ins and outs of why you don’t steal someone’s work, I’m sure you get it.

My only solace in this stupid ship war is in being 99.9999999% convinced Elriel is endgame. I feel like once the book comes out (because even if it’s announced that it’s Elain and Azriel’s book, they’ll still try and find reasons to yell “gwyn supremacy!”), maybe people will stop being so aggressive with the hate. It’ll still be there of course, but they finally won’t be able to spin the narrative in their favor and attack other people, and super talented artists like Jess who are minding their own business and producing *chefs kiss* content.

And I completely agree - It’s sad they can’t just come up with stuff for their own ship. If the ship is as beautiful and perfect as you claim it is, shouldn’t it inspire you all on its own? Like, they have to steal it from Elriels? 😔 it’s the vindictiveness for me.

It’s nasty and pointless and I pray it ends soon.
