Finally had a chance to scan the first book I made for my grandparents, A Gnome for the Home! It’s been over a year since I made it and some of the colors have faded (most notably the title on the cover page), but it’s still pretty good looking.

I posted the second book, A Faun on the Lawn in December when I finished it, now you can read both of them! I’m really proud of these and I have one more in mind I might make this December. I’d be down to do a fourth but I don’t have any other ideas on what it could be about.

Friend tells me to draw Harry Du Bois Disco Elysium with a sniper rifle. I spend hours drawing it cause I wanted to try to match the style. Spouse then says the gun doesn’t make any sense and laughs at the picture. But fuck it man I don’t know anything about guns and I spent way too much time and work on this to not post it.

Debating going back and doing some lazy coloring for the T&Co pages so far and going forward. Since they kinda take so long anyway it doesn’t really feel like that big of an additional commitment to do? I did the first page to see how I like it and it’s kinda nice? Not sure I’m sold but it only took an additional 40 minutes so it’s not too bad… plus I did camp gnc like this… Idk do ppl think it adds anything?

#I have another page done but it’s another 3 page long scene #not sure if I wanna just post it or hold onto it until I finish the scene cause based on the previous one that first page was several months #old before it got posted with the two pages after that #and even then the second page was also a few months old (albeit newer than the first page) #so uh yeah not sure if I want to keep doing it that way or not #ideally I finish scenes more often #it already feels like a far more digestible goal than the 10 page story parts and I’ve actually done almost 3 pages in the past week! #between finishing the previous scene and starting this next one that is #my goal is to be done with part one before st pats which I think is doable there’s only 4 pages left for it! #even with me being on vacation for a good chunk of early March I think it’s doable #if I finish in time I may open to the idea of lining and coloring the first ten pages… #I keep thinking about it and like- the amount of time it takes to finish a page is already so much longer than it used to be #so taking the extra time to line and color (flat colors) doesn’t seem as bad to me honestly #idk I’m debating it

So about doing gag comics… decided to continue with the intro one instead for now. Mostly cause I was halfway through a page and then decided I wanted to finish the scene. I’m not entirely sure if I’ll continue with this or switch
