Tbh I think Luke’s biggest mistake was not getting close to Percy in the beginning of lightning thief. Like I really feel like if Luke were to become close friends with him he definitely could’ve manipulated him to going on his side. He should have also told his plan to Annabeth at that time cause she was so young and easily persuaded by him, she and Percy also had no close connections to the gods at that time, and could’ve easily switched over to the titans. Percy even mentions a few times in tlt how he hates his dad and doesn’t care about him. Major fluke for Luke imo
