I could agree with statement that Hen wasn’t betrayed even if she felt that way

I could agree with a lot of things about this situation

But I’m never going to agree with the statement Hen is a bad firefighter and paramedic.

If you think Hen is bad then I assume you don’t like the guy who sued the fire department, the other guy who snapped at his captain and brought up his murder body count, the said captain with the body count and had major anger issues. or the firefighter who assaulted his other firefighters.

Like let’s be for real guys. These aren’t men aren’t puppies. They are human. And adults. Just like Hen. Usually every friendship (or tv show) has a conflict. The whole point is we communicate, apologize, and grow. Not immediately label the hurt a bad firefighter

Anyways the 118 is stronger than that anyways. Hen is literally big sis I bet by next episode they are going to try and make it right

I loved that we finally got their friendship. I loved their convo and I cant wait for the following scenes to come 🙈🙈🙈

Something about how last season, for one of the first times in her life, Maddie believed in her worth enough to go defend herself to Hen. For over three decades she was surrounded by emotional volatility from her parents, from Doug, but when she confronted Hen she was met with gentleness and an openness that made her feel safe enough to open up.

And now we have Maddie not even thinking to use her carefully curated poker face with Hen, easily being her full silly, goofy self that only Chimney and Buck got to see for so long. And we have Hen, who trusts Maddie enough to know that even though she’s Chimney’s fiancée, Maddie won’t let the fact there’s tension between the two best friends keep her from listening to and believing Hen.

Both Maddie and Hen were so vulnerable with each other in such subtle ways in this episode, and I’m so grateful we get this moment as the first glimpse of their friendship.
