The 'Witches' school, as the isle kids call it, is actually officially named 'Madam Mim's School of Magic. But most people don't really bother to remember the actual name because they think the school is stupid.

The school is one of the spookiest on the isle.

It has no electricity and is lit by lanterns mainly.

Their school's colors are black, purple, and hot pink.

The sign for the school is wooden with the school's name carved into it.

The school is based in a dusty decrepit castle.

They have organs in jars. No, no one knows where they got them.

Also while there's no giant spiders, there are hands running around.

There are bars on the window.

Despite popular belief, the school is not an all girls' schools—just a school for those who might have magic who wish to learn it.

A lot of ingredients go missing from the potions' closest.

A lot of kids with...alternative...styles go there.

Madam Mim founded the school. All of her grandchildren have attended.

Never eat the food there. No, no even if you're starving to death. The food is questionable. No one knows what it is or where it came from, and there have been more than a few times where the food has been laced with potions of some kind. Zevon learned that the hard way.

The kids who go there are some of the most dramatic on the isle.

Absolutely no one outside of the school knows what they ACTUALLY teach.

The kids there give off cult vibes.

There is an occult club there.

Their mascot is a very stereotypical looking witch. The costume is VERY hard to get off and no one wears it because there's a rumor that it'll fuse to your skin and become you.

There is a suspicious amount of plants around the school. Even BEFORE the barrier is lifted.

Frollo tries to burn it down/storm it at least once a week. He NEVER succeeds.

There's a lot of disappearing and reappearing graffiti.

The prank wars are...not exactly what most would consider 'reasonable' pranks. Think YouTube pranks.

There are fairy rings on the outside WALLS and around the school.

The most questionable looking animals come and go from the school. Even from the water next to it.

The school does not pass anyone's vibe check.

Most of their school horror stories/urban legends revolve around Frollo/witch hunters.

Do you think Clark Kent had to be formula fed.

And do you think, for a moment, Martha Kent realized she was in over her head.

An alien baby, a canister of formula from the closest shop that she’s not even sure he can eat.

She’s just holding him in front of her with the bottle in one hand and his neck propped up in the other. He’s screaming his head off and she knows he’s hungry but she can’t bring herself to give it to him. She doesn’t know what he is, what will kill him. She may have met this baby maybe a couple hours ago but she’s already decided to protect him with her life.

Jonathan’s out in the shed trying to find any of the old baby clothes and pacifiers they were gifted while they were trying at least half a decade ago; Martha’s pretty sure she threw them all away the second the doctor broke the news.

She realizes that if they do actually do this it’s not going to be easy, and it’s actually going to be quite terrifying. They will always be waiting for that phone call, that knock on the door. From this point forward strangers and outsiders who come sniffin’ for one reason or another will terrify them.

She wonders if they’ll tell him how they actually came to be his parents, or let him live in blissful ignorance.

She counts down to three in her head. And gives him the bottle.

He drinks it happily; perfectly fine.

She can’t remember when she started holding her breath.

A loose curl of his blacker than black hair falls onto his forehead and covers his bluer than blue eyes. She brushes it away and he grabs her fingers with a grip stronger than she thought it’d be. It makes her bark out a laugh.

Something with those pudgy cheeks and that gummy smile can’t be all that terrifying.

Let's be real: Warren, Rowena, Taran, and Silver all definitely have the most dumb injuries.

Dumbest injuries the TEAM™ and Aris have ever gotten in rwylm:

Aris: stabbed himself in the knee when trying to kill Rowena, allowing her to get away and leaving him with a scar (and probably some permanent pain there, too).

Gerhardt: Probably has some kind of scar from fucking around with Whale' science-y shit when he was a kid or teen.

Warren: Accidentally shot himself in the shoulder teaching Rowena archery because she joked that archery was sexy.

No, no one knows how.

Tempest: When she was in the early days of walking on land, she fell into a hunting pit.

Pen: Probably almost took her eye out with her slingshot at least once.

Kiran: Probably spilled a freshly made (and very hot) potion on himself or accidentally stabbed himself when learning how to do stitches.

Silver: tried to jump over a raveen like he'd seen his pack mates do only to fall in and get pretty messed up by the rocks.

Taran: Got jump scared when camping out by a squirrel and accidentally knocked himself out with his sword.

Rowena: Played knights with Kiran, Eliowny, Taran, and Warren as a kid using real swords from the armory, and accidentally got her two front teeth knocked out by Warren who didn't know how to use even a sheathed sword as a result.

And of course, there's probably more lol.

The Adoption Habit is infectious Au;

I just think it'd be funny if the adoption habit was infectious.

Like. Obviously Damien has inherited it (look at all his animals).

Jason has had at least two sidekicks.

Dick had/has a foster kid.

But the idea of all the others all getting a side kick they do or do not want is also pretty funny. All of them being so done and wondering if this is what Bruce felt like when training them and going out of their way to be a decent mentor would be funny and sweet.
