Kate is actually sort of implied to be Bisexual in the comics. If they make her gay in the gay in the show, then that's the very definition Bisexual erasure.

Considering that Kate and Clint have a mentor relationship and at times a brother sister relationship, that ship is a no go for me.

Also, Clint also said he literally views Kate as a nine year old and when Madame Masque disguised herself as Kate and kissed Clint, his response was throwing up and knocking her out.
