I will never understand romance viewers who don’t want to see the actual romantic relationship. In a good romance, the relationship is the plot. You’d rather a drama throw out a bunch of external obstacles than let us see a couple figure out how to actually be together? Honestly can’t relate.

@edenfenixblogs gave us this brilliant tidbit in a long and refreshingly educated take on another post and I just wanted to emphasize it:
"The European Jews you mock for appearing white and having white privilege appear white because of millennia of exile from our homeland during which time anyone who appeared too “ethnic” and otherwise visibly Jewish was killed."
We're white-passing because you killed all of us who weren't. You don't get to turn around and complain about the Jews who survived when we ALL should have.

I should not be surprised that goyim both fundamental do not understand what the phrase "Never Again" means and that they have co-opted it.
Never Again never meant there shall never be genocides or ethnic cleansing in the world. The sad reality is that as long as hatred exists these things will continue.
As Cambodia, Rwanda, and Darfur showed the Holocaust did not Genocides.
Jews we are not foolish enough to think that we never shall be under risk of mass death for being Jews. The Holocaust was not the first Genocide we have faced in our very long history.
I know myself and other Jews on here have shared the many ways we all have the same or similar ways of knowing this, even from very young, and are always somewhat prepared for this happen.
Never Again is a statement amongst Jews that Never Again will we be taken so largely unaware, Never Again shall we suffer so much and lose so much Never Again shall we be unprepared, Never Again shall we fully give all our trust, Never Again shall something on this scale and this magnitude happen, Never Again shall we let them make our murder an industry, Never Again shall they profit from our death
But it is also a warning, a warning to you that Never Again shall you get away with this, Never Again will be able to murder us so freely and so easily, Never Again will you have to chance to something like while the world watches and does nothing
Never Again is a promise we have made to each other and it is a warning to you.
It is not a term that about all things and for all people, it is about our very specific trauma and history.

i know we’re both just messing around pretending to be whole but look at me. if the train was coming would you move. if the ground was falling from under your feet would you even notice or would it just be another tuesday for you. if somebody stabbed you could it hurt worse than you already do. what i’m saying is that i love you but i think we both drive over the speed limit when it’s raining. what i’m saying is that i want to hold your hand and i understand about how you sometimes have to sit down in the shower. what i’m saying is that i’m here for you and if the train comes please move.

I often see posts about curating your own online experience that make the point, “content creators aren’t your parents.” And, yes, that is absolutely true! And I try not to be like “as a parent,“ but as a parent…
EVEN PARENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO ENCOURAGE RESPONSIBLE READING/VIEWING BEHAVIOR. NOT filter everything ahead of time for their kid.
When my kiddo was 5, his pediatrician was asking him the usual Well Child Visit questions (“What are your favorite foods? What do you do to get your body moving? Do you know what to do if you get lost in a public place?” Etc.) and she asked, “What do you do if you see something on TV that scares or upsets you?”
I piped up like, “Oh, he doesn’t watch TV without one of us in the room,” which was true at the time and is still largely true now. She said, “Yes, but that won’t always be the case, so make sure you’re talking to him about what to do if he sees something that upsets him.”
So we started talking to him about that, and the answer is simple: “Turn it off or leave the room, and talk to someone you trust about what you saw and what you’re feeling.”
The answer is NOT “Ask your parents to make sure you never see anything upsetting again,” because that’s just not possible — and ultimately that would be doing the kid a disservice, since sooner or later he’s going to be out in the world where we can’t control what he watches or reads. That doesn’t mean we don’t try to make sure he’s watching/reading age-appropriate stuff, it just means that’s not the only safeguard he has — and that’s a good thing.
So yes, content creators aren’t your parents and aren’t responsible for making sure you never see anything you don’t like — but also, your own parents should have taught you what to do when that happens. So if they didn’t, take it from me, your internet mom:
Turn it off.
Walk away.
Talk to someone you trust about how you’re feeling.
And leave the person who created the thing that upset you alone.

maybe it will be ok. maybe this is just a chapter of my life. I’m figuring things out. I’m feeling everything as I should. I don’t need to have answers yet. I’m allowed to take it one day at a time. I’m allowed to try again and again. none of this is a waste. I’m growing more each day.
