I wondered why the sunrays didn't coat my skin like it usually did in spring.
Why the breeze was afraid to tangle itself into my hair.
I wondered if spring really began, or if it was just my wishful thinking to step on the grass without crumbling and curling into myself- a reminder that just like everything else, the feeling of grass would feel horribly foreign on me.
Then I saw my mulberry tree. She held her hands out. In her palms, gems.
It's spring.
