hey guys just a small lil PSA thing. trying to be non-aggro about this beucase i know a lot of people just don’t know. But the reason a lot of tumbr’s dash changes were made were for accessibility. a LOT OF PEOPLE on tumblr and in the tumblr rpc use screen readers or vision enhancing tools to read their dashboards (many who you don’t even know do it.) I get that many of us are frustrated over the dash looking different but it’s a small price to pay so that people with visiual impairments and other disabilities can read their dashboards and your blog. As nice as you can make photoshop and screenshot replies look, they’re actually kind of a slap in the face to those people, essentially removing their ability to access your blog/posts and putting it on them to make the potentially uncomfortable request of asking you to not do that for their replies. It stops screen readers from being able to read your text. And it also may make your replies unreadable to anyone using color changers on their dash to help with their vision. So please do consider not screenshotting/photoshopping your replies and posts for the sake of making the community more accessible to others. Please reblog this post even if it doesnt’ apply to you, even if it DOES apply to your friends and mutuals. I know a lot of people just aren’t aware that this is a thing so let’s make them aware and make the community a safer and more accessible place for everyone we can.

    Now, it’s more of a pout that tugs at her lips as she looks over the sword―it’s nice enough; sharp, and functional, sure, but it’s just too plain. “I was hoping someone could make it pink, you know?       Her voice had only grown higher and a little indignant the longer she’d gone, but now she slumps, looking back to Yasha with wide, commiserating and emphatic eyes. “But they wanted, like, a million gold, isn’t that insane?”

    It’s not as though she doesn’t recognize Yaomomo’s voice, the second she hears it―but that doesn’t really change that it takes Hisa half a moment to register she’s the one being spoken to, and she blinks in surprise when her gaze snaps up to meet the other’s. “Oh. Shit, really?”

      She probably looks like a weirdo right now, hands splayed across as many clothes as she can get them on on the shelf here, but that doesn’t occur to her as she cranes her head to see if there’s a clock in this store, to see how long she’d been here. The last time a group from the class had gathered at the mall to prepare for a class event, it hadn’t been this hard, had it?

    No, that’s a dumb question; of course it hadn’t. She’d pretty much already had anything she might need to trek through the woods at a summer camp―this is all for a formal event for the class and it’s also her idea of hell.

        “Whoops.” She didn’t find that clock, but the fact that anyone’s been looking for her is proof enough that she’s been here, agonizing over failing to put together an outfit resembling formal for too long. Shit, she’s gotta be late for the lunch meetup, hence Momo having to track her down.

    She flushes, only just rescinding her hands from where they’d been testing all the maybe-formalwear (look, she’s not a good judge; what counts as formal?) to see if any of it had felt okay. This… should probably not have been so hard.

        “Uh―thanks for getting me, I guess I’ll finish up after we all eat.” Holding in a sigh, she straightens and brushes her ponytail over her shoulder. “Did anyone else have this much trouble with―like, you know? The whole, clothes, thing?”

this isn’t prompted by anything but i’m really, really angry and fed up with how many people hc that fuyumi had no part in shoto’s life and her canon attempts to reach out to him are only recent as if canon didn’t make it ABUNDANTLY clear that while they were kept away from each other as kids, she was literally forced to step into the role of mother at age 12 and help raise and care for shoto.

like it’s canon that she and natsuo had to replace the family’s chef at a young age? she canonically cooked for him, she probably had to patch him up after endeavor’s training, she probably had to teach him how to use his ice, she probably had to do everything that their mom used to do around the house. and she CANONICALLY never moved out even though she’s an adult with a job and very well could have moved far away from her abuser, because she was staying to look after shoto.

even WORSE are the people who hc that fuyumi and natsu never tried to help shoto at all (it’s ALSO CANON that natsu didn’t want to go away to college because he wanted to help shoto and fuyumi had to convince him to go) and that toya, someone we know NOTHING about except that if he is dabi he taunts shoto and kidnaps his classmates in front of him so clearly doesn’t have much fondness there, is the ONLY ONE who cared for or was willing to risk endvore’s wrath to help him???

y’all are exhausting and your willingness and EAGERNESS to dismiss fuyumi drives me insane. thanks for coming to my tedtalk.

Tumblr Askbox fix!

As many of you have noticed through the newest update, Tumblr won’t allow you to send asks via dash anymore. However, some theme makers and users, especially in the role play community, have run into an issue of their ask boxes shrinking on the /ask page of their blog.

There is a quick an easy fix for that!
