I really wish I could update this and my other fandom blogs more often, but there's been an explosive increase in suicide jokes/threats/memes in fandoms this year. For the sake of my mental health, I've had to step back. I have a ton of tags blocked but they still come through due to the use of euphemisms like "kermit" and "sewer slide", or lack of proper tagging. Does anyone know what caused this increase? These kinds of jokes used to be unheard of, especially on tumblr, and I don't know what happened.
