Tim Hunter would not view Zee and John having ZII with immediate excitement. He’d be so fucking grossed out. This is the same kid that throughout his magical adventure in space and time, he thought Zee kissing John took the cake as one of the weirdest thing he encountered.
So them announcing they were having a kid would fill him with a level of existential horror because what do you mean you’ve had sex? You said you were broken up!

my favorite part of the Green Arrow lore is that Ollie constantly tells his kids to shoot him. If they're being mind controlled, confused or for any reason, his go to strategy is to go "sweetie, would shooting me make you feel better? if so, you can do it, it's fine" and it always causes the kid to snap back to reality. Ollie is the og "the real you would never pass a chance to die" and his family is always so repulsed by the idea of hurting him that they come back to their senses.
