Demi Lovato Sings About Relapsing in New Song 'Sober'
Demi Lovato is opening up about her ongoing sobriety journey.
The 25-year-old singer, who has been very vocal about her past struggles with substance abuse and self-harm, released a new song on Thursday. Titled "Sober," Lovato sings about relapsing -- and ET has learned that the Albuquerque, New Mexico, native did relapse. It's unclear if Lovato is sober again after her confirmed relapse. ET has reached out to her reps for comment on the song.
According to a source, the relapse happened at some point in between the North American leg of her Tell Me You Love Me world tour, which ended on April 2 in Newark, New Jersey, and her European leg, which started in Belfast, Ireland, on May 24.
"Demi relapsed and started drinking alcohol again," an additional source told ET. "Her song is intense, but that's how she deals. She has to be brutally honest and put it out there so that she's not burdened with holding on to her struggles privately."
Lovato revealed the new song via Instagram, with a video she captioned, "My truth... #sober out now."
"Call me when it's over 'cause I'm dying inside," she sings. "Wake me when the shakes are gone and the cold sweats disappear. Call me when it's over and my self has reappeared."
"Mama, I'm so sorry I'm not sober anymore," she continues in the chorus. "And Daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. To the ones who never left me, we've been down this road before. I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore."
Towards the end of the track, Lovato sings about taking back control, crooning, "I'm sorry that I'm here again. I promise I'll get help. It wasn't my intention, I'm sorry to myself."

Fans have been tremendously supportive, commenting things like, "We are always here for you Queen. We love you," "Love this song and love YOU. No one is perfect," and "This is so brave. It makes me sad but also very, very proud. Love and support you with all my heart."
Back in March, Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety by sharing an inspiring tweet with her fans.
"Just officially turned 6 years sober," she wrote on March 14. "So grateful for another year of joy, health and happiness. It IS possible."

One year earlier, Lovato explained in an interview with ET how she's navigated her road to sobriety.
"What keeps me on this path is there's a drive that I have to stay sober because I know that my life depends on it," she said. "If I would have continued down that road, I don't know if I'd be here today. So it's something that's very important to me."
"I've been able to share my story with other people, and I've had fans that come up to me and tell me, 'Because you got sober, I got sober,'" she added. "It's just been a really beautiful thing."

Chris Hardwick's Wife Lydia Hearst Breaks Silence Regarding Abuse Allegations
Chris Hardwick's wife, Lydia Hearst, is speaking out about the allegations of abuse against her husband.
Last week, 29-year-old actress Chloe Dykstra claimed she was a victim of emotional and physical abuse by an ex-boyfriend in a first-person essay that went viral, titled "Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession." Dykstra did not name her alleged abuser, but did write that he was 20 years older than her and sober, which led many to believe she was speaking about Hardwick. Hardwick has denied the allegations.
On Thursday, Hearst -- who's been married to 46-year-old Hardwick since 2016 -- broke her silence on the allegations and said she stands in "complete support" of her husband.
"This is not a statement in defense, this is a statement of defense,” Hearst tells ET. “Defense for all the women who have been sexually abused, raped, trafficked, and tortured; defense of all the people who this movement was started for. Over the last year the #MeToo movement has rightly aimed a spotlight directly on women whose stories needed to be told. As someone who has been involved in toxic relationships in the past, I know firsthand the importance of sharing these stories and do not take this situation lightly."
“I have made the decision to come out in support of my husband not out of obligation, but out of necessity to speak the truth about the person I know," the statement continues. "Chris is nothing but loving and compassionate and is the only person who has stood by me, never judged me, helped me heal, and feel whole. To defend my husband would be giving credence to any of these accusations. I will not do that."
Hearst, 33, says "the truth will always win."
"Chris Hardwick is a good man,” she says. “I remain in complete support of my husband, and I believe that the truth will always win. #TimesUp because I know my truth and I believe in due process.”
Meanwhile, Dykstra took to Twitter on Wednesday to thank people for their support.
"The people who have come forward with both stories validating mine, and stories of their own personal experiences, have helped me immensely with my own healing process," she wrote. "After years of therapy and rebuilding, your support has done so much more for me than all of it combined."
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. pic.twitter.com/giXmp2wb9V
— Chloe Dykstra (@skydart) June 20, 2018
In a statement to Deadline last Friday, Hardwick vehemently denied ever sexually assaulting Dykstra. Since the allegations, both Hardwick's AMC show, Talking With Chris Hardwick, and his San Diego Comic-Con appearance scheduled for next month were put on hold.
"These are very serious allegations and not to be taken lightly which is why I’ve taken the day to consider how to respond. I was heartbroken to read Chloe's post," Hardwick said. "Our three-year relationship was not perfect -- we were ultimately not a good match and argued -- even shouted at each other -- but I loved her, and did my best to uplift and support her as a partner and companion in any way and at no time did I sexually assault her.”
"When we were living together, I found out that Chloe cheated on me, and I ended the relationship," he continued. "For several weeks after we broke up, she asked me to get back together with me and even told me she wanted to have kids with me, 'build a life' with me and told me that I was 'the one,' but I did not want to be with someone who was unfaithful."
"I'm devastated to read that she is now accusing me of conduct that did not occur. I was blindsided by her post and always wanted the best for her. As a husband, a son, and future father, I do not condone any kind of mistreatment of women," Hardwick concluded.

Josh Brolin Addresses Domestic Abuse Arrest While Married to Diane Lane
Josh Brolin is opening up about his sometimes turbulent time with ex-wife Diane Lane.
The 50-year-old actor was married to Lane for almost a decade, and their divorce was finalized in 2013. In a new interview with The New York Times, Brolin addresses his 2004 arrest for domestic abuse after an alleged altercation with Lane. The case was eventually dropped.
“God, I’ve never been so careful with my words. Ever. Maybe in all 50 years," Brolin now says about the incident. "And there’s no reason for me to be other than there’s no explaining it. Do you know what I mean? The only person who can explain that would be Diane, and she’s chosen not to, so I’m OK with that.”
Brolin's rep said at the time, “There was a misunderstanding at their home for the lowest-end misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. Diane did not want to press charges and asked them not to arrest him, but in cases involving the possibility of any physical contact, the police have to arrest first, ask questions later.”
Brolin says he used to want to talk about it, but now feels differently.
“I was more reactive, I was more, ‘People need to know the truth,'" he explains. "Whatever I say is going to sound like compensation for a perpetrator. I’ve gotten to a place where all that matters is that I have control over my behavior, and at that time, it was a little more chaotic.”
The Deadpool 2 star gives a little insight into his marriage to 53-year-old Lane, and says that his "hero" complex led to resentment in the relationship.
“I loved Diane,” he says. “I loved being a father figure to her daughter. It just wasn’t attainable, and in that hero mentality, you get exhausted, and then when you get exhausted, you get resentful, and then all that stuff comes out. So I feel bad that I didn’t have the presence of mind or the maturity or whatever to understand that early on.”
He also gets candid about his former approach to relationships.
“I’m going to find out all your needs and all your insecurities, and all that, and then I’m going to play on that,” he says. “Like, you need a daddy? I’ll be your daddy. I’ll be your hero.”
Brolin has since moved on. He married his former assistant, 32-year-old Kathryn Boyd, in 2016, and last month, he announced the two are expecting a baby girl together.
"She doesn’t need me," he says of Boyd, and why their relationship works. "She never needed me.”
During the interview, Brolin also discusses being sober for five years, as well as quitting smoking.
“There’s something that happens to me when I drink that all moral code disappears,” he admits. “So it’s like, if I were to take that drink, after about halfway through, I would start thinking about jumping out that window -- not to kill myself, but just because there must be somebody down there to catch me, and I wonder if I can pull it off or if I could land on that van. It just seemed like fun.”
These days, he still strives to take chances in life -- just not under the influence.
“I want to live more drunk," he says. "I want to live drunkenly. I just don’t want to take the drink.”
Brolin has definitely enjoyed a major career resurgence this summer, starring in blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2. Brolin says he's rejected what's expected of him in Hollywood.
“Like, no, I’m 50," he notes. "So what’s the thing, to start playing guys that are the next-door neighbor who’s the grumpy old dude who’s married in the rom-com, and then Jennifer Aniston goes and [expletive] the other guy who’s cooler and he’s an [expletive]?" Like, no. I’ve been offered a lot of those parts, and I’m like, no, man. Don’t want to do that. It’s not interesting to me.”
Brolin reveals there's one unexpected real-life icon he wants to play in a movie.
“I’d like to play RuPaul,” he shares.
ET spoke to Brolin last month, when he talked about working with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2. Watch below:

Victoria Beckham Says She’s ‘Trying to Be the Best Wife’ Following David Beckham Divorce Rumors
Victoria Beckham continues to shoot down divorce rumors.
The 44-year-old fashion designer opened up about her marriage to David Beckham at the Forbes Women's Summit in New York City on Tuesday.
"I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother. I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional," she said, according to Hello! "When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David."
Though Victoria admitted that she's "been known to hide in the bathroom at weekends just to send a little email," she praised her husband for how he handles things when she's away.
"I have the support of an incredible husband," the former Spice Girl said. "We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children. When I'm away he's the one doing the school run and doing the cooking."
Murmurings of a possible divorce began earlier this month, but a rep for Victoria quickly denied the speculation.
"[Victoria and David are] not divorcing or splitting, and reports to the contrary are false," the rep told ET of the couple of nearly 19 years.
A rep for the couple concurred saying, "It is absolutely not true."
Since the statement was made, the pair has been seen out and about together. On June 10, they attended the Kent and Curwen fashion show at London Fashion Week. Victoria even posted a sweet snap of her husband's hand on her shoulder.

How Courtney Kemp, Mara Brock Akil and Other Women Are Leading a Black Renaissance on TV (Exclusive)
During the 2017-18 television season, 15 scripted shows were created, run or executive produced by African American women, including Ava DuVernay (Queen Sugar), Courtney Kemp (Power), Demetria Harris-Lawrence (Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.), Felicia D. Henderson (The Punisher, The Quad), Issa Rae (Insecure), Janine Sherman Barrois (Claws), Karin Gist (Star), Monica Owusu-Breen (Midnight, Texas) and Yvette Lee Bowser (Dear White People). While certainly not the end of Hollywood’s systemic issue of gender and racial disparity, their collective presence represents a new golden age of scripted black TV, diversifying not only what’s seen on screen but also the racial and gender makeup behind the scenes. And it’s just the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come.
Following a 2017 Emmy win for Master of None, Lena Waithe launched The Chion Showtime and recently landed a pilot order for Twenties at TBS. Last year, Shonda Rhimes brokered a Netflix deal reportedly worth $100 million, taking her away from her longtime home at ABC, where Shondaland was responsible for the network’s popular TGIT lineup. (While this year marked the end of Scandal after seven seasons, Grey’s Anatomyhas been renewed for a 15th.) Following the June premiere of Love Is__ on OWN, Mara Brock Akil’s Being Mary Jane is slated to close out a four-season run with a TV movie on BET sometime in 2018. Meanwhile, The CW’s Black Lightning, which she executive produces alongside husband and creator Salim Akil, has been renewed for a second season. Despite the cancellation of Underground, Misha Green is set to reunite with actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell on the HBO series Lovecraft Country. Girls Trip screenwriter Tracy Oliver is leading the First Wives Club series adaptation at Paramount Network and Jessica Jones writer Aïda Mashaka Croal is set to co-showrun FX’s adaptation of Y: The Last Man with Melina Matsoukas co-executive producing.
“Now is a great time for black showrunners and creators because there's definitely more of an agenda to have our voices be heard in new, fresh ways,” says Bowser, who prior to serving as showrunner on Netflix’s Dear White People was one of the first African American women to develop a primetime show, 1993’s Living Single starring Queen Latifah. Back then, or even as recently as 10 years ago, “I don’t think this moment existed,” she says.
It’s a sentiment shared by other female showrunners and executive producers -- including Akil, Barrois and Kemp -- ET spoke with about working in the current era of television, which has been dubbed “peak TV” for the nearly 500 scripted programs that were produced in 2017. “We are seeing more African Americans and people of color given the opportunity to run shows,” says Barrois, the showrunner for TNT’s Claws, one of the highest-rated new cable dramas of 2017. Kemp says that once the industry started to see shows featuring people of color could work, “they found writers that could write shows with people of color on them.”
In the ‘90s, when there was a boom in black shows like Bowser’s Living Single, as well as Family Matters, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Martin, Moesha and Sister, Sister, they largely weren’t run by people of color. “Only a few of us were black,” Bowser recalls. It’s an issue that was slow to change despite trailblazers like Akil, Bowser and, later, Rhimes, who have all broken down barriers. While networks were telling more stories about people of color, those shows were still run by white people even as recently as Starz’s Survivor’s Remorse created by Mike O’Malley.
By contrast, Rae is now starring on a series she also co-created, becoming the second black woman behind Wanda Sykes to do so. On Claws, Barrois has made sure there’s a diverse writers’ room, which she credits for bringing different experiences to the show. “It’s refreshing to see voices of all different ages and races and backgrounds coming together to tell a story that’s inclusive,” she says.
It’s that inclusive and authentic storytelling, which both Akil and Bowser agree is essential, that has added to the critical and ratings success of shows like Claws and Dear White People. On the latter, Bowser says “telling our truth in the rawest way” is the only way to ensure people can relate. “With Dear White People in particular, it’s a satire and it’s slightly exaggerated and it’s supposed to poke fun at the powerful and make us look at ourselves. The core of the show is about identity, and that’s what we are all looking for. How do we fit in? How does life make sense?”
The reason Being Mary Jane resonated so much with viewers, Akil says, is because it was exploring a truth that everyone, especially women, could relate to. “I was watching women and observing myself. I’m realizing one of my core themes in that particular series was that women are liars. It’s a layered piece, and if you look at the women, they were trying to break out of that and wanting to be honest about what they were saying and what they were doing. It wasn’t the same stuff that was being said to them in the medium. People respond to honesty and truth. Whether or not they like it, they will recognize it.”
“Television has evolved to a place where the audience is interested and intrigued by those things that make them uncomfortable because they take something new away from it,” Bowser adds. “I think that’s part of why we’re having the moment we’re having is because the audience is demanding it.”
While they largely have been lucky enough to tell the stories they are passionate about, it hasn’t always been easy to get some concepts past network executives. “Right now, in this black renaissance, we can be unapologetically black, allowing us to get to the minutiae of what it means to be black, to be black and female,” Bowser says of being able to have scenes where a black female character, like Janelle on Dear White People, goes to bed in a scarf wrapped around her braids. “And not just seeing these things, but really commenting and owning them in a way that we weren’t able to in the past. I mean, you’d get notes from executives about those kinds of things.”
When she was developing Living Single, for example, executives didn’t like the character of Maxine -- a brassy lawyer and originally the fourth roommate to Khadijah (Latifah), Synclaire (Kim Coles) and Regine (Kim Fields), played by Erika Alexander -- and wanted to cut her from the ensemble. “I said to lose her would be to lose a huge part of me and the show,” Bowser says. Ultimately, they reached a compromise to move the character into an apartment across the street. “I got more comedy from the fact that she was always there even though she didn’t live there. It turned out to be a great thing that she didn’t end up on the cutting-room floor but ended up being a huge part of that show, which was always the intention.” When it comes to Dear White People, however, she says there have been compromises but “there’s nothing that’s on the cutting-room floor. There’s nothing like what happened with a show where they decided they weren’t going to air all the episodes.” (Earlier this year, ABC shelved an episode of black-ish that touched on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem after creative differences between the network and creator Kenya Barris could not be resolved.)

For Akil, who created and executive produced the 2000 UPN series Girlfriends starring Tracee Ellis Ross and its spinoff The Game, there were small fights behind the scenes, like to keep Ross’ naturally curly hair or ensure that female characters would talk openly about their sexuality. “Now, I am meeting a lot of millennial women who grew up on the show and are wearing their hair natural and talking about, ‘I carry condoms.’ That fills me with great joy,” she says. But perhaps her biggest argument came more recently, at the end of Being Mary Jane season three, when BET did not want a character to be pulled over by the cops, believing that police violence against black people was over. “This, maybe, was right before Sandra Bland and post-Mike Brown. So I said, ‘No. I want to bring the issue to light. It’s a conversation that our women are dying and being victimized and we need to do this,’” recalls Akil, who believes her role as showrunner is to communicate a story’s relevance and have that conversation with executives.
In Kemp’s case, she was told by a network that they “already had a black show,” but that didn’t stop her from landing her show somewhere -- Power is now in its fifth season at Starz -- “It just wasn’t that one,” she says. She admits, though, that there were notes about Ghost (played by Omari Hardwick) early in the development of Power that altered the overall concept of the series. “Ghost was an alcoholic in recovery and actively working a 12-step program. I really wanted to tell a story about a person that is in recovery and yet is selling drugs.” Concerned that audiences wouldn’t find it relatable, Starz asked that she remove that element, “which was a huge blow to how I wanted the spirituality of Power to work. I still got to represent the kind of spirituality that I wanted to represent, but not in the way that I wanted.”
But Kemp has stood her ground when it comes to casting. “For me, there’s always a conversation about the different kinds of people in the diaspora. They don’t come in one shade or one kind. People speak Spanish all over the world. So for things like that, I’m fighting for Puerto Rican actors to play Puerto Rican characters.”
Looking ahead to Rhimes’ massive Netflix deal and what it may mean for other women in the industry, Bowser hopes it will make way for “new voices,” while Barrois says, “She helped diminish the wall. Now a person of color can make billions of dollars for you.”
Ultimately, progress is “one brick at a time; one powerful story at a time,” says Bowser, who, like most of the women, takes responsibility for not only taking advantage of the opportunities they've been given, but also creating opportunities for the next generation of black women coming up the ranks and encouraging them not to be satisfied with the status quo. “There are those of us on the inside that are working hard to mentor and train the next generation so there can be more of us that are prepared, qualified, certified and ready to do this,” she adds.
When speaking to ET in December, Waithe emphasized she wanted to use her recent success to help “ensure that more voices are heard, that more people have opportunities, and help ensure their voices are not diluted and that they are coming through the right filters.” She has since created Sight Unseen Pictures to champion new voices with the goal of creating new film and TV projects.
“There is a new generation that are emerging in the business that are saying enough is enough, we need to let every single person have the opportunity to create, to run, to direct and to tell stories,” says Barrois, who is a graduate of the Writers’ Guild of America Showrunners Training Program, where Bowser was one of her mentors, later giving Barrois her first writing job. “My career is a testament to her reaching back and helping me get in.” Barrois has since been able to turn to Bowser for help through behind-the-scenes politics or other problems she’s encountered. Now, she goes back to the program to share her stories (“There’s a code of silence,” she says) and to try to help the young people coming up after her.
While all these women represent a growing force in Hollywood, Kemp cautions that it’s not quite a revolution. “We see Ava and Shonda and Mara and Janine and we’re like, ‘It’s great! It’s changing!’ There’s way more than it was, but it’s not pervasive if I can still count all of those people.”
To Kemp’s point, Barrois adds, “There was a time we didn’t have a chance to run shows or multiple shows. Is it possible to have an African American woman run the show? Sure it is. Is it possible to have an Asian woman run the show? Sure it is. The more we get people in the higher ranks that have inclusive worlds, the better it will be.”

Paul Rudd Teases a 'Bananas' Sequel in Behind-the-Scenes Look at 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' (Exclusive)
"I have moments where you think, Whoa, how did I get here?" Paul Rudd exclaims on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp in this featurette, exclusively debuting on ET. "This is bananas!"
The original Ant-Man, with its jumbo-sized toy trains and trippy dip into the Quantum Realm, remains one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's weirdest installments yet, and from the looks of it, the upcoming sequel, arriving in theaters July 6, will follow suit with more shrinking and supersizing, more dimension-hopping and even more ass-kicking, courtesy of Evangeline Lilly's newly suited and booted Wasp and her "impressive" set of super skills.
"I was so excited to have the chance to go back to this character," Lilly says of reprising her role as Hope van Dyne. "One word that would define the Wasp is kinetic. I am constantly in motion and there is barely room to breathe." She looks into the camera and adds, "I dare you to blink."

Nikki Bella Is Feeling Pressure About Who Should Walk Her Down the Aisle After Reconciling With John Cena
Nikki Bella's wedding may be back on, but that doesn't mean all the decisions are made.
In a sneak peek of Sunday's all new Total Bellas on E!, which airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Nikki is wrestling with who she wants to ask to walk her down the aisle during her upcoming nuptials to John Cena.
"If you have mom walking down the aisle she should be in a cute tux, like a women's style tux," Brie Bella, Nikki's twin sister, posits to both Nikki and their grandmother, Nana.
Nana thinks Nikki's brother, JJ Garcia, is the obvious choice.
"I don't know," Nikki sighs. "I've just been thinking a lot about it."
"Mom and I were talking and just, like, you were going to have me walk you down the aisle, then you picked your dad. She kind of got a little bit of attitude," Brie reveals. "I'm just saying it would make mom super happy. Like, it would make her life."
Nikki reminds the pair that the "emotional decision" is hers alone to make. In a flashback to a conversation with John, viewers get to see who he would pick for the task.
"You asked my opinion so I'm giving it to you," John says. "Your sister. I know traditionally it is the father, but I guess I don't think traditionally, Like, that one person is giving away another person. Like, how sh**ty is that?"
In the confessional, Nikki explains more about her dilemma.
"You know, to think [about] the relationship I have with my father and the other male relationships I have, I just feel so confused," she says. "There's part of me that wants to get married and there's a part of me that just wants to be alone. Like, there's no words to describe it."
Later in the clip, Nikki chastises Brie for bringing the issue up in front of Nana.
"I just feel like this wedding turns into what everyone else wants but me," Nikki says. "I understand what you're saying. I do. But I don't want this whole thing to turn into, like, 'Who's going to walk Nicole down the aisle?' Because if it's like some game show, mom's on the table, dad's on the table, JJ's on the table. Anyone else? [Brother-in-law] Bryan maybe? I forgot John put you on the table."
Brie still manages to make her personal preference known, saying, "I just feel like since the day mom's been pregnant with us she's sacrificed her whole life."

Despite wedding planning being in full swing on Total Bellas, a source told ET last week that John and Nikki aren't back together just yet.
"One of the reasons that they can't seem to work things out is because he's getting ready to leave the country for four months," the source said of John's upcoming plans to shoot The Janson Detective alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. "They're not the kind of couple where it's 'absence makes the heart grow fonder;' they're more 'out of sight, out of mind,' so this distance isn't going to be good for them. They work best when they're working together and can be together all the time."
The source continued: "They love each other very much and can't imagine themselves with anyone else. They want to be together and be happy, but their priority is very much on their careers right now, and they're both on the same page with that."

'Nashville' Sneak Peek: Juliette Snaps Back Into Her 'Troublemaker' Ways (Exclusive)
Trouble in faux utopian paradise!
On Thursday's episode of Nashville, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) begins to realize that Darius Enright's Movement for Coherent Philosophy actually isn't so peachy after all.
In ET's exclusive sneak peek, Juliette starts putting two and two together that the self-help movement's true motives don't live up to the billing of the happy utopia Darius claims it to be. Guess things start becoming clearer when you're holed up in a Bolivian "retreat center" for an extended period of time.
"I've been locked up for two days, you're damn right I'm easily triggered," Juliette snaps at Rosa (Mia Maestro), one of Darius' followers tasked with watching over her.
"I know you're frustrated but hostility won't solve any of your problems. You need to examine the root of your negative emotions or they will destroy you," Rosaexplains, her calm demeanor firing Juliette up even more.
"I think I remember that passage... Ah, there it is!" Juliette says, as she rips the book from Rosa's hands and tears pages out from the Movement's bible, which she calls "crap." "I'm unstable, haven't you heard?!"
"You're right about one thing. I am hell of a troublemaker," she proudly declares, before turning the tables on Rosa. "Is this how you thought you'd spend your life? Guarding a helpless victim who's done nothing wrong. Does the Movement have a special school for that?" Watch the exclusive sneak peek above to see what happens next.
Nashville airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.

"Detectives from BSO’s Strategic Investigations Division assisted homicide detectives by taking Dedrick Williams into custody Wednesday night following a traffic stop," the Broward County Sheriff's Office also tweeted. "Detectives are seeking additional suspects. The investigation continues."
Williams has been charged with one count of first-degree murder.
According to homicide detectives, XXXTentacion was leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach on Monday afternoon when he was approached by two armed suspects, and at least one of the suspects fired a gun, which struck him. The rapper was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday, a crowd of hundreds came together in West Hollywood, California, for a memorial for the slain rapper, but the event quickly got out of hand. According to police, many of those in attendance were blocking streets and causing a disturbance. As seen in videos shot at the memorial, and shared to social media by hundreds who came together in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles, people were seen riding on the tops of moving vehicles and forming mosh pits in the middle of the huge crowd.
Meanwhile, XXXTentacion's music has now become more popular than ever. The rapper's track, "Sad!," broke Taylor Swift's single-day streaming record on Spotify on Tuesday, amassing 10.4 million streams following his death, according to Billboard.
XXXTentacion's team released an official statement on Tuesday, noting the effect he had on fans across the globe.
"On June 18, 2018, Jahseh Onfroy -- known worldwide as XXXTentacion -- tragically passed away from a gunshot wound in Deerfield, Florida," the statement reads. "It is with great sadness that the news is confirmed in this official statement by his team -- manager Solomon Sobande, EMPIRE, Bob Celestin, Esq. and AKW PR. In deference to his family, friends, and loved ones and in light of further investigation, we ask that their privacy be respected at this time."

Chrissy Teigen has taken trolling to a whole new level!
The 32-year-old model posted an seriously cute snap to Instagram on Wednesday of her and John Legend's 2-year-old daughter, Luna, sitting comfortably outside on a pink chair with a sun umbrella while holding an Arthur doll.
"Luna and daddy," Teigen quipped in the caption. As many fans know, Arthur is oftentimes referred to as Legend's cartoon doppelganger.

This isn't the first time Teigen has joined the Twitterverse in comparing her husband to the cartoon character. Last year, after sporting a yellow turtleneck in La La Land, people began to notice the undeniable similarities between the Legend and Arthur.
"John, when you tell him he looks like Arthur," Teigen tweeted alongside a pic of Arthur's clenched fist.

Johnny Depp's 7 Biggest 'Rolling Stone' Revelations: From Depression to How Much He Really Spends on Wine
Johnny Depp is opening up in a big way in a candid new interview with  Rolling Stone magazine, in which the 55-year-old actor addresses his highly publicized legal battles over his finances and reports of his extravagant spending.
Writer Stephen Rodrick was invited to spend time with Depp at his rented mansion in London, England, where the conversation also turned to his complicated relationships with close family and friends, as well as a serious struggle with depression due to problems both in his personal and financial lives.
Here's a look at the biggest revelations from Depp's interview:
Multimillion-dollar lawsuits, a haze of booze and hash, a marriage gone very wrong and a lifestyle he can’t afford. In our exclusive new feature, we take you inside the trials of Johnny Depp. "I kept trying to figure out what I'd done to deserve this," he says. "I'd tried being kind to everyone, helping everyone, being truthful to everyone." Click the link in our bio to read the full story. Illustration by Matt Mahurin (@mattmahurin)
A post shared by Rolling Stone (@rollingstone) on Jun 21, 2018 at 5:02am PDT
1. Depp is very much open about his drinking and smoking
Rodrick describes entering Depp's rented mansion and feeling his presence immediately.
“He is here in the stogie-size joint left by the sink in the guest bathroom. He is here in the never-ending reservoir of wine that is poured into goblets," he observes.
During their first meeting, Rodrick writes that "Depp sits at the head of the table and motions towards some rolling papers and two equal piles of tobacco and hash, and asks if I mind. I don't. He pauses for a second. 'Well, let's drink some wine first.' This goes on for 72 hours."
Depp also isn't shy about his history of using drugs. Later in the interview, when talking about one of his idols, writer Hunter S. Thompson, he regrets quaaludes no longer being around and recalls the bootleg quaaludes he used to take.
"They're made with just a little bit of arsenic or strychnine, so the high was far more immediate," he explains.
Depp then recalls once asking a Florida bouncer to punch him while on quaaludes for no reason.
"You either wanted to smile and just be happy with your pals, or f**k, or fight," he says of being under the influence.
2. He has complicated relationships with his family
Depp talks extensively about his late mother, Betty Sue, in the interview, who died in 2016 after a long battle with cancer. The actor reveals the first thing he bought when he started making money was a small horse farm for his mom in Kentucky, where she was born.
"My mom was born in a f**king holler in eastern Kentucky," he says. "Her poor f**king a** was on phenobarbital at 12."
Though he clearly loved his mother, he also claims they moved 40 times growing up and that she would sometimes give him "irrational beatings."
"Maybe it's an ashtray coming your way. Maybe you're gonna get clunked with the phone," he says. "It was a ghost house -- no one talked. I don't think there was ever a way that I thought about people, especially women, other than 'I can fix them.'"
"Betty Sue, I worshiped her," he continues, before adding, "She could be a real b***h on wheels."
At her 2016 funeral, Depp recalls saying, "My mom was maybe the meanest human being I have ever met in my life."
As for his other siblings, Depp -- who's the youngest of four -- tells the magazine that one of his sisters and her husband and son moved to his mother's farm in Kentucky and were hired to manage the property, but their spending allegedly became out of control. After his mother died, the family still lives there.
"Their thinking is that I'm going to take care of them forever and that the farm is now theirs," he says. "I didn't make that promise."
The magazine also notes that Depp's close relationship with his sister, Christi, who was once a constant in his life and managed his day-to-day affairs, became strained when she was opposed to his 2015 marriage to Amber Heard.
"Depp’s last constant connection with the real world was severed," Rodrick writes.
3. He actually spent more than $30,000 a month on wine
Depp's former business associates filed a countersuit against the actor last February, after the actor filed a lawsuit in mid-January against The Management Group (TMG) and its associates for allegedly defrauding him and mismanaging his money. Among Depp's alleged extravagant expenses they claimed they warned him about was spending $30,000 a month on wines flown to him from around the globe.
Depp proudly admits the number is actually higher.
“It’s insulting to say I spent $30,000 on wine,” Depp says. “Because it was far more."
Depp also addressed the claim that he paid a sound engineer so he could feed him lines through an earpiece while filming, explaining that it was actually sounds that were fed to him, which he says allowed him to be a better actor.
“I’ve got bagpipes, a baby crying and bombs going off,” Depp shares of the sounds. “It creates a truth. Some of my biggest heroes were in silent film. It had to be behind the eyes. And my feeling is, that if there’s no truth behind the eyes, doesn’t matter what the f**king words are.”
As for the allegation that he spent $3 million to blast Thompson’s ashes out of a specially-made cannon?
"By the way, it was not $3 million to blast Hunter out of the f**king sky," he says. "It was $5 million."
And it appears that Depp's lawsuit against TMG isn't going to be resolved anytime soon.
"I have never, ever been in my life the bully kid," he notes. "I never went out of my way to hurt anybody. When I was a little kid, what I was taught was never start a f**king fight, but if somebody f**king tags you or starts invading your f**king world, finish the f**king fight. To my mom's exact words, 'lay them out with a f**king brick.'"
4. He became depressed over his financial issues and personal life
Depp says that after his divorce from Heard and his lawsuit, he became severly depressed.
"I was as low as I believe I could have gotten,” he says. “The next step was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with your eyes open and you’re going to leave with your eyes closed.’ I couldn’t take the pain every day.”
He says he then went on tour with his band, The Hollywood Vampires, and started writing a memoir on an old manual typewriter, like Thompson.
“I poured myself a vodka in the morning and started writing until the tears filled my eyes and I couldn’t see the pages anymore,” he tearfully says. “I kept trying to figure out what I’d done to deserve this. I tried being kind to everyone, helping everyone, being truthful to everyone.”
“The truth is most important to me," he adds. "And all this still happened.”
5. He was extremely close to Tom Petty
Depp reveals he had a close friendship with the late Tom Petty, who died in January of an accidental drug overdose.
The actor says they used to frequently speak on the phone, and has clearly been hit hard by his death.
“We’d call each other and ask, ‘Hey, you still smoking [nicotine]?’ Depp recalls. “Tom would go, ‘Yeah, I’m still smoking.’ And I’d feel better: ‘Well, if Tom is still smoking, I’m OK.’”
“I loved him,” he continues after a pause, shedding tears.
Later, he also laments the deaths of Thompson and Marlon Brando, and the loneliness he now feels.
"Marlon and Hunter. I needed my guys," he says.
6. He supported Penelope Cruz while they filmed Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Cruz reveals to the magazine she told Depp that she was pregnant right before shooting 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and contemplated dropping out. She says Depp opposed.
“He protected me every day, and by the end, I was six months pregnant,” Cruz says. “I’ll never forget that.”
"I imagine Johnny doing a version of Jack Sparrow at 70, or 80,” Cruz also muses, referencing his iconic Pirates character. “It will be as charming and as great.”
7. He has plenty of thoughts on Harvey Weinstein
Depp recalls his interaction with the disgraced movie mogul, calling him an "a**hole" and a "bully" when he worked with him and director Jim Jarmusch on 1995's Dead Man.
“Have you seen his wife? It’s not a wide range," he also comments. "It’s not like he went, ‘I must go to the Poconos to find some hairy-backed b***h.’”
Still, he recalls a more tender side to Weinstein, when he witnessed him picking up his daughter from school.
"The image that took my breath away was Harvey Weinstein, a goliath Shrek thing, bending down to put on his daughter's raincoat," he shares.
Earlier this month, some fans became concerned about Depp after photos of him in Russia were shared on social  media, in which they commented that he looked "thin." However, an insider told ET that Depp, who is currently on tour with The Hollywood Vampires, is doing fine.
“Johnny is healthy and is enjoying his time on the road with his band,” the source said.
ET spoke to Depp last May, when he gushed about his 19-year-old daughter, model Lily-Rose Depp. Watch below:

Nick Kroll Accidentally Splits His Pants on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live': Watch
Nick Kroll's pants did a comedy bit of their own on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night.
The 40-year-old comedian sat down with host Kimmel to discuss his new film, Uncle Drew -- where he plays the self-identified "token white guy" in the comedy, which also stars NBA players Kyrie Irving, Nate Robinson, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and  Shaquille O’Neal. While recounting getting the chance to play hoops with Irving, Kroll's pants split right down the middle.
"I got to play basketball against him. You don't think I'd hold up well against Kyrie?" he asked the laughing crowd. "I was literally like, 'I know I'm not in the NBA, but, you know, I was pretty good on my Jewish day school team.' I was like, 'I'm going to hold my own.'"
Kroll then recalled playing some decent defense and even scoring a layup on Irving, but his cockiness didn't last long — neither in the story he was telling nor on the stage with Kimmel.
"So now I'm cocky, I'm going back on defense and I'm like, 'I got Kyrie. I got Kyrie.' I'm  hitting the ground and then," Kroll started, bending over to act out a motion before suddenly announcing, "I just fully split my pants!"
The giggling crowd and Kimmel both had a laugh at Kroll's expense, while the comedian turned it into a joke of its own.
"Wouldn't it have been amazing if there was a full-on poop stain?" he quipped. "So, basically I did the physical equivalent of splitting my pants playing defense against Kyrie."

Kroll continued his self-deprecating humor following the show on Instagram.
"And thanks to my stylist @jeanneyangstyle not only for the pants that split but for sending me these beautiful pics taken right after they split on #jimmykimmel," Kroll wrote alongside photo collage of his split pants.

ET recently caught up with Kroll and he gushed about working with the NBA legends in Uncle Drew, hitting theaters on June 28.
"It just was one of those jobs where I was like, 'This is all I could ever ask for,'" he said. "I feel very lucky in general have the jobs I get to do. But this one in particular felt like what a fun combination of things."
Kroll also talked about watching Irving transform into an older version of himself for the movie.
"I have a picture of Kyrie -- were in the parking lot. We're all in our little trailers getting ready to go to set and so he's got the makeup on," he recalled. "He hadn't got into his wardrobe and, like, his belly. So, you've got Kyrie, like, ripped, like, 25-year-old Kyrie with, like, Uncle Drew face -- and you're like, 'What is going on here?'"

Why Rachel Bilson Is Going All in on Comedy (Exclusive)
Take Two is hoping to be your new summer guilty pleasure.
Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian team up for ABC's detective dramedy, which centers on the unlikely pairing of Samantha Swift (Bilson), the ex-star of a popular cop series fresh out of rehab, and Eddie Valetik (Cibrian), an L.A. private investigator who prefers to operate as a lone wolf. When Sam is offered a potential comeback role, Eddie reluctantly agrees to have her tag along before it becomes apparent that Sam may be the jolt of energy -- and new perspective -- he needs to reinvigorate his P.I. business.
"For me, comedy is always my first love and so to be able to approach a premise like this -- a procedural but it's light and comedic as well -- there was no question for me," Bilson, 36, told ET over the phone while enroute to an on-location shoot.
The actress, who's starred on The O.C., Hart of Dixie and recently Nashville, immediately connected with the light-hearted banter between Sam and Eddie, and the promise of the fun-loving, wacky vibe presented in the pilot. "I loved Sam. The character was interesting. She had a lot of things going on -- from being an actress to recovering [from rehab] and taking on this new role. It was an adventure I couldn't pass up."
Ahead of Thursday's premiere, Bilson spoke with ET about flexing her comedic muscles, her on-set rapport with Cibrian and what Summer Roberts would think if she met Sam Swift.
ET: Last July when we spoke, you had said that you didn't want to work as much, especially with a young daughter. Take Two came pretty quickly after your time on Nashville ended, so what made you say yes?
Rachel Bilson: My daughter [Briar Rose] turned 3 in October and that was around the time that we started talking about Take Two -- or soon after that, if I'm not mistaken. Life happens and things change, and she was a little older. I thought, It's 13 episodes, that's five months and that leaves seven months to be mom. It was the right timing and everything fell in place in the right way.
Take Two comes from the minds of Castle team Andrew Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller, and is very similar in tone to that series. How familiar were you with Castle before signing on?
I had seen it a few times. My sister-in-law loved it and would watch it, so I knew about it and I knew the premise and I knew it was a fun show. But I knew liked Terri and Andrew's work. So when Take Two came about and I heard the premise for it, I thought it was really cool and really fun, which was very important for me.
On paper, the show's concept is quite meta. You're playing a former TV star, for one thing. Was there an element of deja vu for you?
(Laughs.) Well, I think Sam is a lot different from me personally because I don't think I was falling out of a car pantiless. She was a little more extreme than I was for sure.
What did you like immediately about your character, Sam Swift?
I like that she represented a really strong woman, even though she has been through the wringer. She's approaching life now wanting to change it around and prove herself and better herself and showing strength. Nowadays, with everything going on, that was really attractive to me in a female character. Raising a little girl, you always want to pick those characters.
Is that a driving force behind the recent roles that you've taken?
Yeah, for sure. You become a mom of a young girl, everything changes.
What traits of Sam's do you wish you possessed in your real life?
I love that she's really good at being a P.I. I pride myself on being a really good detective. (Laughs.) I have scared many ex-boyfriends, so I think that part is fun. When I'm reading a script or whatever, I'd be like, "Oh my god, that's how they found out! I would totally have done that." Getting into that myself was fun.
In watching the first two episodes of the show, because you're playing a former small-screen star, I couldn't help but go back to the 2004 episode of The O.C., where Summer Roberts meets the cast of her favorite TV soap...
The Valley?
Yes! Which leads me to this question: What would Summer think of Sam Swift if they met?
Oh my god, that's really funny. (Laughs.) I feel like Summer would be a fan. I think they share a sense of humor and enthusiasm.
A lot of the show hinges on the chemistry between you and Eddie Cibrian. Was the connection instantaneous?
I had never met him or worked with him, but we all got together for lunch -- Eddie, Terri, Andrew and myself -- before we started. He was super nice and we both talked about how we like to work. Just seeing how we have a similar approach to working, we got along great. It's always a gamble, you never know [how it's going to work out], but I'm very grateful that it's him because it's many hours a day you have to spend on set and luckily, he's a nice guy.
Sam and Eddie get thrown into the fire, so to speak, early on when circumstances force them to team up. What's your take on their reluctant partnership?
I like that they're opposites. They work so differently, so I think it's really going to help bring out that other side of the other person. They're also going to help each other a lot because of how different they are. It's fun; there's a good dynamic there with the characters. I think that's what people like to tune in and to see.
Could a romance be brewing between the two of them?
That might be a road that might be traveled at some point. I don't know at this point in time. I think the writers are focusing on our relationship as partners and the crimes we're solving and there might be a few times where we're locked in closets or in close quarters.
If you could do a career take two in a completely different field, what would it be?
That's a tough one. It's hard because I'm a mom and if I wasn't working, I would just be with my daughter. But I always wanted to be a preschool teacher. I always loved kids, so I'd go that route.
Lastly, what's one thing you want fans to take away from watching Take Two?
It's a really fun show and it's the perfect show where you can sit down in your living room and not have to think and just enjoy yourself. It's funny, it's entertaining -- all of the things that I personally like to watch when I just want to relax. I want to turn on a show like this. If people want an escape that's super light and fun, this would be a great show.
Take Two premieres Thursday, June 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

How Prince William Earned ‘Street Cred’ With Son Prince George
Happy Birthday, Prince William!
Thursday marked the 36th birthday of the Duke of Cambridge, and the future King of England celebrated in the best way – by giving a sweet speech at a charity event.
William attended the handover of the Defense and National Rehab Centre, and spoke about his involvement with the organization after four years as its patron.
“I have enjoyed every single moment of it,” William said. “I have seen the growth of an idea transfer into what we see today – and it is a rare and immensely satisfying thing to have witnessed.”
In a sweet moment, Prince William talked about how his involvement in the organization earned him brownie points with his 4-year-old son, Prince George.
“Along the way I have demolished a building – George was at an age at the time that he loved seeing the digger in action, so it did my street cred as a father the world of good,” he quipped.
William is also dad to daughter Princess Charlotte, 3, and the 1-month-old Prince Louis. Next month, Prince Louis will be christened at St. James’ Palace in an official ceremony.

"I was as low as I believe I could have gotten," Depp tells the publication, recalling his emotional state in the midst of his failed marriage and his simultaneously collapsing financial situation.
Multimillion-dollar lawsuits, a haze of booze and hash, a marriage gone very wrong and a lifestyle he can’t afford. "The next step was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with your eyes open and you’re going to leave with your eyes closed,’" he adds. "I couldn’t take the pain every day."
While his divorce from Heard was finalized in August 2016 -- following a contentious legal battle and Heard's allegations of spousal abuse, which Depp has vehemently denied --  his legal troubles continued to spiral.
In January 2017, Depp sued his former business managers, Joel and Robert Mandel of The Management Group (TMG), claiming they mishandled his money and cost him millions.
The pair subsequently countersued and claimed Depp was the one who spent all his own money on extravagances. In their countersuit, TMG claimed that Depp spent $30,000 a month on just wine, and even had a sound engineer on his payroll to feed him lines while shooting his films, so he wouldn't have to learn them.
According to Depp's in-depth interview, the 55-year-old actor doesn't deny the reports about having a sound engineer on-hand, but claims it isn’t because he doesn't want to memorize a script. Rather, it's the engineer's job to play him specific sounds to allow his to convey emotions with his eyes.
"I’ve got bagpipes, a baby crying and bombs going off," Depp says. "It creates a truth. Some of my biggest heroes were in silent film… It had to be behind the eyes. And my feeling is, that if there’s no truth behind the eyes, doesn’t matter what the f**king words are."
As for his wine budget, Depp claims the reported figures are actually way less than what he really spent.
"It’s insulting to say I spent $30,000 on wine," Depp shares. "Because it was far more."
In TMG's lawsuit, they also claimed that Depp spent $3 million to have the ashes of his close friend, iconic journalist Hunter S. Thompson, blasted out from a specially designed cannon in Aspen, Colorado, following his death in Feb. 2005.
Depp -- who played Thompson in the 1998 drama Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas --- says that figure is also far too low.
"By the way, it was not $3 million to shoot Hunter into the f**king sky," Depp states. "It was $5 million."
The financial woes hit him emotionally as well, especially with regards to how it impacted his children -- daughter Lily-Rose, 19, and son Jack, 16 -- and their view of their father.
"My son had to hear about how his old man lost all his money from kids at school, that's not right," Depp says, getting emotional.
Finding himself depressed and feeling unable to "take the pain," Depp went on tour with his band, the Hollywood Vampires, and then decided to follow in the footsteps of his late friend, counterculture icon Thompson, by writing his memoirs on an old typewriter.
"I poured myself a vodka in the morning and started writing until the tears filled my eyes and I couldn’t see the pages anymore," Depp shares. "I kept trying to figure out what I’d done to deserve this. I tried being kind to everyone, helping everyone, being truthful to everyone… The truth is most important to me. And all this still happened."
