now that it’s 2020, i think it’s time we fix some shit that’s going on in the rpc as a whole. and by this i mean the pointless and harmful toxicity that goes on. it’s disgusting the amount of anon hate that gets sent. and i think it’s time we stop being fucking children and act like mature adults. doesn’t matter your age whether you’re 14 or 40.
the community seems to have disgusting habits, where if they don’t like a character someone writes or a ship or whatever the case may be, they send anon hate. which is horrible and harmful and needs to stop immediately. you don’t like something or someone? there is a wonderfully useful tool called the unfollow button, it also has a wonderful friend called the block button. they have a super cool friend too called blacklist/tumblr savior. you don’t wanna see something or someone, those tools are really helpful and useful.
another thing that’s disgusting is that if someone doesn’t like another mun, they send hate to them and/or spread rumors about them. they get a mob mentality and get their friends to hate this person too, which is such toxic and gross behavior. if you don’t like someone, do what i said above and don’t go to your friends and tell them to not like them. do not use your followers to gang up on someone you don’t like. just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean others can’t. so cut that middle school shit out.
the moral of this whole fucking psa is this: don’t like someone/something? unfollow/block and go about your own business. don’t be an asshole, don’t try to ruin them for no good reason. because you have no idea how damaging that kind of stuff can be.
it’s 2020, time to be kind. there is enough bullshit going on in the world as it is.
