       “Ah well, maybe for like…our 25th anniversary.” Buck LAUGHED in response as he settled back down, watching as the usual chatter at the restaurant picked back up. It was funny, because he’d never quite thought about a future, let alone marriage, before Erin had come along, but now everything seemed just right, like something had fallen into place. “Do you still want dessert?” He then asked with a grin, leaning back in his chair as he felt the happiness take over every nerve in his body, like he was going to vibrate out of his own skin. “Or…we could go home and have dessert there.”

               “ARE YOU planning on being married to be for twenty five plus years huh? Because I love the sound of that.” the brunette grinned, wiggling her eyebrows in her fiancee’s direction. The thought of living and being with Buck forever really did sound like a foreign concept. A foreign yet amazing concept that she certainly was there for it. “If you’re saying you want to go home and have sex with me for dessert as opposed to physical dessert then you really don’t know me very well do you?”. she smirked before continuing “ I want both. Sex and actual dessert. Please and thank you in ADVANCE.”

there’s no such thing as coincidence – that was one of the first things that she’d learned, and one of the things she kept at the front of her mind for every single case that they worked. “we get them all together at once.” she repeated, head nodding as she listened to emily’s advice on the best approach. “are you taking the lead on talking to them?” watching prentiss command a room the way that she did was something that erin wouldn’t get tired of. “you think we’ll be able to tell who it might be when they’re all looking at one another?”

                 “BY HAVING them all together in the same building, it’s going to make things a lot easier for us to be able to look into them.” the brunette commented as she moved further into the room before coming to a stop at the white board. There was still something about the case that rubbed her the wrong way and the brunette couldn’t put her finger on it. “It’s something that I’ll look at once we are the venue, it’ll depend on what works. If it’s going to work just me, then yes but if it’ll work better as a team, then that’s something we will do.” emily remarked with a nod. It’ll work out. “If all goes to plan, then yes, we will be able to. They may not think we will be able to see if, but WE WILL.”

she’d spoken to the chief as well as reviewed the case files in the few moments she’d been gone. arizona had done everything she could. the child had been incredibly sick and arizona had done all she could to fix them but sometimes things just didn’t work out. it was no one’s fault, things simply happened. “ arizona, you are of no use to anyone here right now. you need to go home, grieve the loss you’ve suffered today. ” she spoke softly, sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch. “ let me take you home. i’ve already spoken to bailey and she agrees, no more work today. ”

                THE BLONDE was torn into two minds. She could go home and grieve the loss that she had faced, she’d lost a patient. A patient that she had put everything into saving. A patient of whom she knew wouldn’t have been able to survive the surgery but still did it at the request of the parents. Something she wished she had stood by her own grounds. But she didn’t. The blonde let out a deep sigh before blinking away her thoughts, turning her attention back to Carina as she nodded, feeling slight tears roll down her cheeks. “Okay, you can take me home. I don’t.. I don’t think I’ll be any use to anyone, not today. And NOT HERE.”

Well THAT was dramatic, and - - - did Riley just say ass? Maya stayed put, mouth agape as she watched her best friend move into the bathroom. Finally getting up out of bed, the blonde moved to the door of the bathroom. “I mean, we don’t HAVE to go if you don’t want to and something is telling me that maybe we should stay here and do something without the boys. - - - Did you call me a pain in the ass or did I just have some kind of mental block?” 

                       “NO YOU promised the boys we were doing something with them and we don’t break promises in this friendship. Or family as to what we all refer to ourselves as.” the brunette called back from behind the door as she continued to get herself ready. She needed to make herself feel better so she was fine for when they went out. “I did just call you a pain in the ass, as for your mental block, that’s not something I can help you with.” Riley commented, offering up her friend a slight frown, through the door not like she could see her AFTER ALL.
