I Love You Changbin

Backstory:

After an amusing evening out at your favorite restaurant and a stroll along the Han River, Changbin decided this was the right moment. He slipped his hands into yours and intertwined your fingers with his. You blankly stared at your hands and then at him. He kept forward and simply smiled.

“Oh, your hands fit so well with mine,” he said.

Before you could respond he stopped, took in a deep breath and exhaled.

“I can’t believe this is the first time we are holding hands as a couple,” he proclaimed.

You stared in confusion as you two continued walking, let out a soft chuckle and said “I guess it is.”

“Today is our one year anniversary and I am at such a happier mindset than I was last year. I would have never thought that a goofball could make me forget all the hurt I’ve been through in such a short amount of time. He is so patient and caring and I wish with all my heart that we can keep growing better together and that I can become someone he can rely on. I love you Changbin.”

Diary Entry #64

You and Changbin made a quick stop at the convenience store because you ran out of milk. But while there, he ran into a few fans. He quickly glanced at you and you knew. You couldn’t be his significant other for this brief moment and all the sadness in the world crashed down on your heart. You paid for the milk and waited for him a few blocks away.

As you waited for him to meet up with you, all you could think of was how pathetic you felt. You knew that your relationship needed to remain a secret so that you two could be together but In that moment you became no one and it seemed like Changbin was embarrassed of you. How pitiful it felt sitting there in the dark. So, you decided to not wait for him and head home. But, before you even started, Changbin quickly ran to you and linked arms with you.

“Sweet Potato!!! Look what I got!!! I got some sweet potatoes! Just like you right?” He foolishly said.

You stared at him blankly and let out a small grin. Oblivious to your expression, he softly chuckled and gave you a small peck.

“Let’s eat here, okay,” he said as you guys approached a small park.

He carefully took out a sweet potato, wrapped it in tissue and pealed its skin. Softly blowing on it, he offered it to you. You were hesitant at first, but his soft puppy eyes were so charming that you couldn’t resist his offer. You took a bite and the biggest smile appeared on his face. He slowly peeled more skin off and took a big bite for himself. Realizing what just happened, you panicked and let out a small yelp. But, before you could stop him, he shot up and started pacing; the sweet potato was burning his mouth and he just kept fanning it.

“Hurry! Spit it out,” you insisted.

But he wouldn’t dare and just pointed his hand at the milk jug you were holding. You quickly opened it and he gulped it like his life depended on it. Laughter exploded from you and he just kept munching away.

“Hahh, that.. *cough* was delicious,” he exclaimed.

You softly hit him and complained that he was such a child for not being careful.

“I’m glad, you’re smiling,” he said while cupping your face. “Don’t be sad about earlier, okay. I love you very much.

A moment of silence washed over both of you and before you knew it, you started to get teary. You lowered your head and told him you were sorry for thinking wrongly of him, for assuming he was ashamed of you. He moved the sweet potatoes aside and hugged you tightly, nuzzling your head on his chest.

It was getting late and the breeze was getting colder. So, you both decided to head home. Changbin paused for a moment, stepped in front of you and crouched down.

“Hurry sweetie. Get on,” he said as he flayed his arms out towards you.

You shyly rejected his offer, telling him you were too heavy, as you walked away. But he started to pout and made puppy eyes. You looked over your shoulder and when you saw his sad face, grunted in compliance.

“Okaaaaay. I’m coming.” you complained childishly.

You got on and softly embraced him and laid your head on his shoulder. The soft wind kissed your cheeks and brushed against his hair, making this moment feel almost fantastical. As he carried you, he hummed your favorite song and swayed you back and forth. This felt so much like a lullaby that you almost fell asleep. Your grip loosened and as they fell down, you quickly grabbed your wrists again.

“I know you’re probably still sad about earlier, and I’m so sorry. I never wished for you to ever experience that.”

You didn’t want to admit that you were still hurt by this and just nodded your head “no.”

“If I could, I would show you off to the world,” he softly said. “But the world isn’t ready for me not to be theirs and would hurt you at any cost to keep it that way.”

After hearing this, you tightened your grip and nuzzled your head even more into his back. A grin broke out across his face and he let out a relieved sigh.

“I love you Changbin,” you quietly whispered.

“I love you too,” he softly replied.

Diary Entry # 127

You were browsing through your social accounts and came across some clips of Changbin from his recent fan video-call event. He was being affectionate and romantic with to them. You knew that he was acting this way for his fan service, but couldn’t help notice how wonderful the fans looked. All your insecurities about your own looks started to rise up.

You glanced at your mirror and you could swear that you had gotten less attractive over the course of your relationship. He probably was thinking they were more wonderful looking.

“How could he not think that they matched him better than me,” you thought to yourself.

You stared into the mirror again and sadly said to self, “They were right, I’m not that attracive.”

You turned off your phone, let out a heavy sigh and sank your face into the bed. You kept thinking about how you didn’t match Changbin at all and decided that if you were going to match them, you needed to try harder at being good looking.

So, you went out and bought a bunch of skin care products and vitamin pills. As soon as you got home, you ripped open a face mask and applied it. You laid on your bed and kept praying out loud that you would become more attractive and with each phrase, you said it more vigorously.

All of a sudden you heard the door knob turning and saw Changbin. He called for you all giddy and child-like until he noticed that you were using a face mask. He thought you looked absolutely adorable and decided that you two share be twins. He quickly ran to the room, whipped out a face mask and tried to apply to it on his face. But being such a klutz, he couldn’t seem to apply it right. It kept sliding to one side too much or covering one of his eyes.

“Why are you so bad at this!” you said while laughing.

You reached out to help him but he wouldn’t let.

“I can. I can do this. There’s nothing I can’t do,” he demanded.

After a good five minutes, it was finally on correctly. He thought he looked absolutely handsome and wanted you two to take a pic together. But you refused. Regardless of your answer, he was going to get his photo. So, he tackled you onto the couch and tickled you until you said yes.

“Stop Sweetie,” you begged. “Stop before I die.”

But he wouldn’t stop and you had to give in.

“Okay, okay…. I’ll take a picture you crazy monkey,” you exclaimed.

Changbin didn’t waste a moment and snapped his photo. You thought you looked absolutely terrible with your hair tied up in a messy bun and your white shirt that you had been wearing for two days. You protested the photo will all your heart, but he adored it to death and refused to delete it. You went for his phone, but found that he had already set it as your contact profile picture.

“Sweetieee!!! Noo!!! I look terrible,” you insisted.

“Who told you that?!?!” he demanded.

“I could never get tired of your face. I mean, how could someone be this attractive with just a face mask?” he replied.

He threw his phone aside, attacked you with a big hug and nestled his chin on your shoulder.

“Please don’t think that you’re not beautiful/handsome,” he meekly said.

He lifted his head, stared at you with all the compassion in the world and pecked your cheeks.

“Every moment I’ve spent with you has made everything about you more outstanding. Don’t feel shy about your looks anymore, okkaay. Because if Binnie likes it then it’s perfect.” he insisted.

Your eyes softly fluttered and grinned at his reassuring compliment. He went in for another kiss, but his face mask fell onto your face and you both giggled like crazy. You both raced to the bathroom to throw it away and apply aloe but, he slipped on the way there. Changbin hurt his ankle and pouted for you to blow his booboo. And like a naïve caring lover, you went to love him. He wiped away his fake tears and sniffled his nose. While you were magically healing his wound, he pulled you down and ran straight to the bathroom.

“That’s not fair. You cheater,’’ you shouted.

“Changbin always wins without trying,” he proclaimed with his arms up high.

You followed him to the bathroom and took off your face mask. Without warning, he cupped you cheeks and said “See, I was right. I really could look at your wonderful face forever.”

You let out a soft whimper, hugged his waist and hid your face in his chest. All your insecurities washed away and the only thought that lingered was, “They weren’t right. I am wonderful.”

“I love you. I love you so much Changbin,” you softly cried.

“I love you too, Y/N,” he replied.

Was it Just a Dream?

Genre: Fluff, Romance

Pairing: Changbin x Reader

START

After a busy and stressful week, Changbin crashed on his bed and shoved his face into his pillow. Nothing was going according to plan lately, and he was so exhausted from making up for these small mistakes. He was so overwhelmed he just held onto his pillow, curled up to his side, and silently wept.

“Why is nothing right...”

The next morning, Changbin woke up and found himself in a different room. The walls white, the bed and sheets white, framed pictures on the dresser, toys on the floor and miscellaneous items on the shelves. This looked nothing like his room yet felt so familiar.

He sat up and carefully examined the room. The blanket was folded outwards on the other side of the bed and in the photographs sat a smiling man that looked just like him. He grabbed it and realized it was him, with a beautiful/handsome spouse and a son. He had a family.

Shocked, he stepped back, plopped himself onto the bed and slapped himself. He sat there for a while wondering how he ended up 10 years into the future. He remembered everything but it didn’t seem real. All the memories came rushing in like a déjà vu and everything was connecting with one another. Before he could start panicking, he heard music coming from outside the room and a soft familiar voice began singing.

SCENE: Living Room/Kitchen

He walked out slowly and made his way to the bathroom. He looked in the mirror and discovered how much he had grown into his face and how it had become more chiseled with age. He was pleased with his looks and how healthy he was. He washed up and decided to join his new family.

As he walked towards the living room, he noticed you dancing to the music while trying to cook breakfast at the same time. Once your son, Hae Seung, saw Changbin, he stopped zooming around the room with his airplane and ran up to him. He shouted in excitement.

“Appa is awake! Appa is awake!”

This child he never met before made him feel whole and accomplished. He had never felt this kind of completeness before and he was excited. Changbin playful threw the child into the air and spun him around.

“Appa is here. Appa is awake,” he cheerful sang along. “What are we doing this morning?”

You heard Changbin talking sweetly to your son and tilted your head towards him.

“Good morning, Honey.”

You caught a glimpse of him and had to turn all the way around to look closer. You completely stopped what you were doing and just admired his wonderfulness.

“Wow, Honey. You look even more handsome today! Aren’t we so lucky.”

Changbin blushed and tried to save himself by continuing his play with Hae-Seung. He was watching him wiz through the room and listened to the oddly familiar music. He soon realized it was him singing and this was not a song he had produced yet. He quietly sat there and listened, while Hae-Seung and you sang along.

“This is so wonderful. I love my little family,” he said to himself.

SCENE: Kitchen

“Breakfast is done boys. Let’s eat together,” you called out.

Hae-Seung quickly ran to the table and you placed him into his high chair. You took your seat across from him and Changbin sat at the head of the table.

Everything about this seemed so different to Changbin, but also so fulfilling. He ate his food, smiling foolishly while watching you eat your food and struggling to feed Hae-Seung. Seeing him stare at you, you tried to feed him too. He chuckled and took a bite from your spoon.

“I love you, Honey,” Changbin softly said to you.

You were taken aback for a moment and then let out a huge grin.

“I love you too, Honey” you replied, giving him a peck on the cheek.

Changbin went completely soft and laughed this off. You laughed too and Hae-Seung copied after. Laughter filled the whole room and Changbin let out a heavy sigh of relief while smiling. He was content.

Once breakfast was done, you quickly cleared the dishes from the sink and started cleaning up.

“Honey, give Hae-Seung a bath and change his clothes okay. We’re going to visit mom and dad.”

Hearing this he paused for a moment.

“My parents?” he asked.

“Yes, Honey. Did you forget again?” you answered back.

He nodded no and excitedly left to the bathroom. Changbin hadn’t seen his parents in awhile and was so happy to be visiting them. He gave the baby a quick bubble bath, dressed him in a comfy outfit and gave him a cute pair shoes. After getting Hae-Seung all dressed Changbin tried to figure out an outfit for himself but couldn’t decide.

SCENE: Bed Room

You finished cleaning up the mess from breakfast and began to change into your outfit. As you did, Changbin panicked and covered his eyes. You quickly stopped what you were doing and let out a small laugh.

“What is it silly? Why are you covering your eyes? What’s wrong?” you asked him.

He realized that this was a normal occurrence of your day to day life as a married couple and just coughed it off.

“Oh, it’s... it’s nothing. Something must got into my eye is all,” he said.

You chuckled, realizing he was being shy and decided to get dressed in the bathroom.

While you were trying to finish up, Changbin kept staring and smiling. This made you smile like a little child. He was making you feel shy, so you turned around and cupped his face.

“Stop staring so much, silly. Get dressed,” you softly said.

Changbin smiled with glee and finally put on an outfit.

Everyone was ready. Changbin had filled the diaper bag and brought the soup you made for his parents, and you had Hae-Seung.

Changbin decided he would drive to his parent’s place and you played with the baby who always got fussy from the long drive. Eventually, Hae-Seung got bored of the games you were playing and wouldn’t stop crying. You tried playing his usual baby music but he was not having it. So, you decide to put on one of Changbin’s rap songs and Hae-Seung immediately stopped crying. He started rapping along (as much as a toddler could) and wiggled his legs and arm. The song was on repeat for the next ten minutes and Hae-Seung was absolutely pleased with himself.

Changbin smiled the whole drive. He had a loving partner and son, he was going to visit his parents, and his son loved his music to death. He was so content with this brief moment that he thought nothing could top this. But, then you reached out and softly held his hand. Sparks flew throughout his heart and he squeezed your hand even tighter.

“I love you guys so much. You guys make me happy” he said.

You smiled at this sudden remark and pecked him on the cheek.

“We love you too, honey,” you answered.

SCENE: Changbin’s Parent’s House

As soon as Changbin knocked on the door, he started to get nervous. You noticed this and rubbed his arm up and down, telling him it was okay. The door opened and Hae-Seung immediately ran in, heading straight towards his grandpa.

“Harabeoji! Hae-Seung-ie came! Look at my airplane” Hae-Seung yelled with excitement.

Dad was so happy to see Hae-Seung and immediately took him to the living room. He showed his favorite grandson all the new toys he had bought and Hae-Seung was so excited.

Changbin nervously came in. But as soon as he saw his mother, he rushed towards her and hugged her.

“Omma, I’ve missed you!” he exclaimed.

“Aigoo, my son is so sweet. He misses me even though we saw each other last week,” mom answered back. “Don’t hug too hard, you might break your Omma.”

Changbin let go and quickly wiped his tears.

“Why are you crying? Don’t cry. Omma is here,” his mom said.

He collected himself and went to hug his dad too.

For the rest of the day, the family spent their time playing with Hae-Seung, doing arts and craft, listening to music, watching movies and eating snacks. When dinner came around, Changbin and you decided to cook together and let mom and dad play with their grandson.

SCENE: Kitchen

Changbin, still so clumsy when it came to cooking, kept spilling ingredients everywhere and putting them out of order. You ended up laughing the whole time because you could tell how hard he was trying to get it right but he kept denying he needed your help. Luckily, Changbin was just clumsy, so the meal still came out delicious.

Everyone enjoyed the meal and Changbin kept trying to trick feed you. You pouted and his parents complained, asking him to stop being so goofy. They then shared stories from Changbin’s childhood and mom eventually grabbed out the old photo album. She finally shared how Changbin got the scar under his chin; he had accidentally cut him self on a shelf when he kept sliding his chin side to side on it.

The entire night was filled with laughter and when Hae-Seung became sleepy from eating too much, everyone decided to clear off the table and get ready for bed. You went to put Hae-Seung to bed, but he only wanted his grandma.

“It’s okay Y/N, he can sleep with us tonight,” said dad.

So the baby was sleeping with his grandparents tonight, and they couldn’t be happier. They headed to bed first while you and Changbin cleaned up.

You asked him to wash the dishes while you cleaned up the toys from the rooftop. You stayed up there for about 30 minutes and Changbin was beginning to worry. So, he went up there with the hot chocolates he had made for the both of you. When he got up there, it was so dark he could barely see anything. Suddenly, the lights came on and he saw you sitting on a blanket and pillow set up with a cake.

SCENE: Rooftop

“Happy Birthday, Honey,” you warmly said, “I hope today made you feel wonderful.”

Changbin smiled in surprise. He had been so stressed out from the previous week and from making sense of this new reality, that he completely forgot it was his birthday.

“This the 9th birthday I’ve got to celebrate with you and I hope for more and more,” you shared.

He finally came and sat next to you, placing the drinks on the coffee table. You carefully lit the candles and sang happy birthday to him. He swayed along with your cute dance and his smile never left his face. Before blowing out his candles, he shared that he wanted to spend the rest of his life just like he did today. You softly hit him and said he wasn’t suppose to say his wish out loud cause now it wasn’t going to become true. But, all he could do was keep smiling foolishly.

“I love you so much, Honey,” you said while cupping his face. “I hope you stay healthy and content forever,” you finished saying and quickly pecked his lips.

Before Changbin could pull you back for another kiss, you pulled out a present. It was a scrap book of how you and Changbin fell in love. He flipped through it and his eyes started to immediately swell. All the memories of how difficult your love came to be came rushing in and he became so overwhelmed.

“Why are you crying, Honey. If you cry, I’m gonna end up crying,” you said.

Changbin chuckled and wiped his tears. He continued to flip through the book, reading all the small letters and looking at all the photos in detail. He remembered every moment shown in the photos as if they happened yesterday and all the letters revealed how loving you were even though you were suffering. He remembered how open minded you were with his idol life, how you guys rarely ever argued and how many time he almost gave up on your relationship because of external pressures. Changbin couldn’t hold it in and cried.

Once he finished with the book, he hugged you with all his might and rested his head on your chest. You softly patted his head and told him that it was all okay because you both made it. Without a warning, he exclaimed his love for you. You giggle at this silly but sweet gesture and proclaimed your love for him at the top of your lungs too. He laughed and exclaimed his love again, trying to out do you this time. You tried to out do him too, and you both inevitably ended up competing. After so much goofing around you both got scratchy voices and laughed so much from how bad your voices sounded now. You both decided it was time to go to bed.

SCENE: Bed Room

You were both getting ready for bed after washing up, but Changbin was hesitant to get into bed. He was still nervous about skinship with you. But luckily for him, you were so tired from all the excitement today, you fell asleep as soon you cuddled into the blankets. Changbin then crawled into bed stared at your sleeping face and recounted the abundance of happiness that happened today.

He stayed up till 2AM just day dreaming, until you suddenly snuggled into his chest. He briefly panicked, but soon rested his arm on your back, softly hugging you. He went to hug tighter, when he suddenly heard you let out a small cry. You snuggled in even closer and hugged him.

“Please don’t forget about me, okay. Please. Don’t forget,” you softly cried.

“I won’t honey,” he replied and hugged you even tighter.

Remaining like this, Changbin and you fell fast asleep in each other’s warmth with his last thought being “I hope to spend the rest of my life like today.”

SCENE: Bed Room

The next morning, Changbin woke up and realized he was back in his dorm room. You weren’t sleeping next to him, he did not have a son, and his worries of the previous days were still here. He felt defeated and was so upset that his life with you was over in just one day. He shoved his face into his pillow and cried. Was it just a dream?

SCENE: Café

Him and the rest of Stray Kids got ready for their schedule for the day and left to the studio. They stopped for drinks and he ordered his favorite blueberry and avocado smoothie with a blueberry muffin.

The barista called out “Blueberry Avocado Smoothie with no pearls,” and Changbin headed to the counter. He reached for the drink, when someone else’s hands crashed into his. You both apologized and the barista quickly clarified himself.

“I’m so sorry. This is for... “Y/N. Yours is coming up soon sir,” the barista stated.

Changbin turned around and just as he suspected, it was you. You were walking away and without thinking, he called your name.

You looked back, noticed it was Changbin and let out a small smile.

“You really didn’t forget about me,” you softly whispered.

10. — CHANGBIN

“Don’t you think you’re going a little overboard?”

Your words were slow and bemused as you watched the airplane tickets in his hand. It was just a joke, but who thought he would really buy you a ticket to Bali for your holiday. You knew how expensive those tickets, especially in this holiday season.

Turning to look at you, Changbin gave you a genuinely puzzled glance. There was a troubled look on his face when he finally spoke up, his eyes searching your expression intently.

“Do you not like it?”

Hastening to soothe his concerns, you quickly gave him a smile, tucking yourself into his side as he reached out to you instinctively.

“No, I love it! I just….are you sure it’s not too much? I was just joking about wanting to spend our holiday in Bali.”

Instantly you felt him relax at your flustered words, his troubled expression melting into something softer. With a tenderness only you were ever privy to, he gently brushed his fingers over your cheek, a small smile curling at his lips as you instantly leaned into his touch.

Finally, he spoke up once again, his words hushed but firm as he silenced your doubts.

“If it makes you happy… nothing is ever too much.”

Changbin Falling For You

My First Imagine

- Fluff, Romance, Angst, (tried to remain gender neutral)

Setting: During COVID19 Pandemic, Professor and Changbin (not a student teacher relationship tho)

*I’m so sorry for the wait. I really struggled with their encounter since I dont have a lot of dating experience (only had 1 partner). But I tried my best to make it seem realistic*

Changbin read your caption and swooned over how wonderfully you portrayed the encounter.

He went through your feed and watched all the clips from your teaching sessions. By the twentieth video, he wasn’t listening to what you were saying anymore. He was listening to your voice, how it echoed throughout the room, how you dragged your last syllables when you were being affectionate with your students, how your pitch rose when others were actively engaging, how your words melted into each other and how each sentence slowly turned into music.

The next morning, when Han woke Changbin up, he found Changbin asleep with your lectures still playing. Witty Han decided to pull a prank and played your lecture in the big room and woke Changbin up. Hearing a familiar voice, Changbin woke up, cheeks puffy and eyes still sleepy. “Is that one your guys friend? I feel like I’ve met them before,” he sleepily said.

“Yeah that’s my friend that we met at the convenience store. Don’t you remember,” Han sarcastically said. Changbin none the wiser, asked what friend and continued to the sofa where he would slumber some more. But as soon as he laid down, he stood straight up and realized what Han was talking about.

“Is that Y/N?,” he asked shockingly.

Everyone laughed but Changbin’s first reaction was to ask where they had found this video. Han shared a photo of what he saw that morning and Changbin became a bashful kid. He screamed in retaliation and tried to turn off the tv, only to be met with the other members wresting him. He screamed for them to turn it off but they were having so much fun laughing as Changbin struggled. Seungmin, the only one unbothered, wanted to calm everyone down and turned the tv off. Everyone sighed in disappointment and stopped play fighting with Changbin. Bang Chan called out for them to stop and for them all to quickly begin making breakfast because they had a loaded schedule ahead of them.

That was the start to their busy month. For the next couple of that week, they worked hard to complete their activities for STAYs to enjoy, only occasionally cracking inside jokes about you to Changbin. Every joke, even small, made Changbin stop in his track and blush though. He pretended he didn’t know what they were referring to and simply laughed while scratching his head. Eventually, they ran out of jokes to make (since their encounter with you was so short) and stopped.

But this didn’t stop Changbin from being reminded of you. He rewatched many of your videos but found that he really just wanted to interact with you again. This time around, Changbin was determined to run into you again. He tried to frequent the convenience store every night, whenever possible, but often found the store front without you. He continued coming for about two weeks, making the excuse that he was exercising even though the members already knew why. But no luck of seeing you.

Scene: Convenience Store

Until one night, when Changbin went really late after almost forgetting his mission. As he approached the store, the front was again empty and he was feeling defeated. He decided maybe it was best to stop trying and went inside to buy something for the last time. He softly went to get himself some chocolate milk and was about to pay for his items, when someone else handed the cashier their drink.

“Please scan his drink too,” that person said. Changbin looked up and it was you. You smiled softly at him, paid for both the drinks and grabbed them. You walked out to a table out front and Changbin continued to stare in confusion.

“Well aren’t you going to join me?” you casually asked him.

Changbin quickly collected him and sat next to you. For the first few moments, he remained silent as you handed him his drink and sipped on your tea. You casually looked over to him and asked if he was going to drink his drink. He answered with a soft “oh” and started to open his drink when you placed your cup down and took in a soft but deep breath.

You looked down at your watch and saw that it read “11:11PM” and quickly told Changbin, “Quick, make a wish it’s 11:11.” You squinted your eyes, held your hands tightly to your chin and made a wish. Changbin slowly copied your gesture but ended up just looking at you as your nose crinkled and eyebrows twitched. But as soon as he saw you put your hands down, he closed his eyes and pretended that he made a wish. He squinted like his life depended on it and you couldn’t help but let out a little laugh. He opened one of his eyes and looked to see what you were laughing at.

“Don’t laugh,” he shyly said. This made you blush more and you just ended up staring into the street. Changbin fixed his posture, and sipped on his drink. With the awkward silence looming, you gathered all your courage again and decided to start the conversation.

“Let’s try again.. okkay. I’m Y/N and it’s nice to meet you,” you started. Changbin let out a small giggle and smiled.

“Hi, I’m Changbin. It’s nice.. to meet you.. too,” he answered. You responded back and told him you were a big fan, to which he thanked you. You didn’t know what to say after that so you quickly thought of games you used to play back home. You decided on “21 questions.”

“Let’s play 21 questions, okkayy. We each take turn asking and answering questions okay,” you told him. Changbin was intrigued by this foreign game and agreed.

“I’ll start okay.... Uhm.... Oh I know, Do you put you put on one sock, one shoe, and then the next sock and shoe or do you put both sock and then shoes?” you asked seriously. Changbin immediately started giggling at your silly questions. You smiled while asking why he was laughing. You really wanted to know.

“I put both socks on and then my shoes,” he answered, still laughing. You nodded in approval and then told him it was his turn.

“Who is your Bias in Stray Kids?”

“Hyunjin-ie” you blurted. Changbin’s face turned disappointed and you quickly said “I’m just kidding kekeke... It’s Changbin-ie. His rap and face are perfect.” This made Changbin blush and giggle.

“If there was a zombie apocalypse, who would you eat first and why? Your mom or your dad?”

You two continued your questions long into the night. Your questions kept being silly and Changbin’s were more relatable to both of you. By the last question, you both were having so much fun, neither realized how long you had been out. All that could be heard was laughter and wheezing. This was the most fun either of you had had in a while and did not want the night to end. But the next work day was rolling around the corner and you needed your rest.

“I had so much fun playing this game with you Changbin. May we meet here again?” you bravely asked. He answered back that he couldn’t make any promises because they would be busy again and that he would try his best. So, you suggested on a day sometime in the future and gave him your email.

“Let me know if you can make it or of a better day okkay.” you added. You both waved while saying goodbye and went home.

With the start of a comeback, Changbin was only able to email you that he would be too busy to meet you on the day you suggested. He said he would follow up once he was not longer busy. Almost a whole month passed by and did not email. You weren’t disappointed though, because you knew he was busily promoting. So you didn’t email him and just supported him like a fan. You bought their album, voted for them and streamed their music. All was good with teaching and silently supporting him, when you received an email with the greatest news ever!! You had won an opportunity to attend a video call event with Stray Kids!

Scene: Video Call Event

Changbin had such a busy day and was overwhelmed by such a tight schedule. He had no time for himself and felt disappointed that everything needed all of his investment and attention but couldn’t give his all. Nothing seemed to go as plan and he was now stressing and anxious about nothing and everything. He knew he had a fan event later and all the chaos to get him looking the part and being mentally prepared was overwhelming. He went to the washroom to cry for a moment and came back.

Once the first fan call started, he felt drained. He wasn’t feeling excited as of late but didn’t want to make fans feel bad so he tried extra hard to be cheerful and cute. He joked with them, made silly faces, comforted them and made all their calls worth whiled. But, Changbin was feeling incredibly drained now. He didn’t know how he would make it through the next call. He quickly slapped himself awake and forced a smile. As soon as he heard the call ring though, he grew exhausted. But he only had one more call so he kept it in.

“Hellooooooooo,” he exclaimed when the fan picked up the call.

“Helloooooo....” you shyly said, coming out from the corner. “It’s nice to meet you again.... How have you been?” you asked. Just saying that made you feel so shy, so you quickly covered your mouth and softly giggled.

“Youre my last call for the day and my favorite. this night is ending swell.” you continued. But he did respond.

“You must be very tired....” you said realizing how late it was and how blank his face looked. You could tell that he had a rather long day because his eyes were a but more red. So your excitement changed from one of a young adoring fan to a caring and nurturing friend. Not wanting him to force a smile or speak when he didn’t need to, you asked him if he could just listen while you just shared about yourself so he could rest. He wasn’t actually listening to what you were saying, so it took him a moment to respond. When he realized what was said he softly nodded his head. Only after looking at you did he realize who you were. He immediately became so embarrassed and nervous that his legs shook uncontrollably and the table started to shake. He began smiling and giggling.

You quickly decided you would share just make up an acrostic poem with his name. You hoped to lighten the mood as well as make it interesting. So you pondered for a moment to come up with something sweet and when you were ready, you clapped your hands.

“Okay, I’m ready.”

“Seo”

“So when are you going to apologize for crashing into me?.... Remember?.... When you fell from heaven and thought you landed on a stump?”

“Chang”

“Chang Bin ah, I’m just kidding. You didn’t fall from heaven. God just threw you away because he was tired of competing with a more handsome God.”

“Bin”

“Bin (Been) a bit since I’ve been in Heaven. Do you think you can take me there again?“

You immediately covered your face, feeling completely embarrassed from being so soft and Changbin let out a soft, high-pitched giggle. Just then, the ringer went off and your call was coming to an end. You quickly said your goodbye and waved uncontrollably. Changbin waved back but didn’t realize that the call was ending, until he registered your goodbye. He was shocked and the video ended. Your last image of him was of a shocked lost child and you were so happy that you helped distract him.

Changbin Falling for You

My First Imagine (be merciful lol)

- Fluff, Romance, Angst, (tried to remain gender neutral)

Setting: During COVID19 Pandemic, Professor and Changbin (not a student teacher relationship tho)

*took note of some constructive criticism and adjusted, so vibe may be just slightly different, in a good way, okkayy 👉👈*

PART 3

Scene: Convenience Store

“Y/N, wait,” Changbin called.

You froze and tilted your head. No one, aside from your work colleagues knew your first name. You turned around and saw a man standing alone while a group of guys were huddled together in the back. You were worried and did not recognize any of them because they were wearing masks. The man standing alone called your name again to be sure, and you immediately recognized his voice. It was Changbin. Shocked that it was actually him, you loosened your grip on your folder and accidently dropped your papers again. After a brief moment, you realized what happened and quickly began picking up your papers.

The boys seeing you struggle, panicked and helped pick up the rest of the papers. They handed back your papers, quickly said their hello and went back to allow you and Changbin some privacy. Changbin, however, did not understand why he needed to be alone with you. He felt that it just made the situation more awkward.

After saying hello, you just stood there glancing back to Changbin. Still shocked, you reached to cover your mouth. But as you did that, the wind blew a bit hard and your eyes became teary. Changbin, thinking you were crying, started waving his hands. But before he could say anything, you quickly wiped away the tears and patted your cheeks.

“I’m okay, I’m okay,” you said as you shot back a small smile to not worry him. “An angel just flew from Heaven and wasn’t careful when he landed. So, wind blew into my eyes,” you said while smiling.

Changbin chuckled at your ridiculous joke. Once he composed himself he said, “I hope you got your work ID back.. and uhm.. that you are feeling better now.” He scratched his head and continued, “You can, uhm.. always find us on vlive if you’re feeling down, okay?, ” he continued. In disbelief he remembered you, and spoke to you again, you nodded like an innocent child with big eye and that only made him laugh more.

“So, uhm.. have a good night and get home safely okkay,” he ended. He started to walk away when you quickly interjected.

“Wait” you said.

He turned around and you continued. “I’m sorry if I am being, uhm.. bold,” you nervously said while looking at your pointed toes, “but I... I.. wanted to ask if I could take.. a uhm.. photo with you?” You looked up and asked, “Is that okayy?”

Of course he accepted your request and walked over. He was getting closer and closer, so you blushed like a fool and gulped. You quickly took out your phone but stumbled once he struck a pose next to you. The photo came out blurry because you were shaking from being so close to him, so he suggested taking another one. He told you not to be nervous and put his arm on you. That didn’t help you calm down at all. You blushed even more and covered your face.

“Ready, 1, 2...” He said. You got a hold of yourself, smiled and snapped a photo. He grabbed your phone while you were still holding it, softly placing his hand under yours, and your heart started pounding even more. You took a deep gasp of air and tried not to hyperventilate, while he checked the photo. He nodded and was pleased that the quality was better. He let go, waved goodbye and you bowed, and then bowed again.

“Thank you so much. Thank you!” You said. Quickly looking at your photo, you looked back at him and yelled, “You’re very handsome,” before you lost your courage.

He chuckled as he walked back to his members and you went your way. You continued looking at the photo and giggled to yourself. You stopped for a moment, held the phone to your chest and hugged it with all your might. Unable to contain your excitement, you started jumping, spinning, skipping, giggling and squealing even more.

Unbeknownst to you, the members saw you being silly and laughed to themselves. They thought you were absolutely adorable and child like.

“Whoah Hyung” Han said while slowly clapping, “You’re so cool.” He gave a big thumbs up and Changbin blushed.

“Of course. Visual Changbin has that kind of affect on STAYs” he sarcastically said.

During their walk back to the dorm, all the members kept talking about you.

“They look even more attractive than all their photos,” Hyunjin shared, “They really do.”

“They are really short too, so they match Changbin hyung well,” I.N. remarked. “They make Changbin look so tall,” he continued.

Changbin shot him a piercing look and cutely yelled.

Bangchan, who had been rather quiet throughout this entire adventure, simply smiled at all this chaos and made sure that everyone remained quiet and made it to the dorm safely.

Scene: SKz Dorm

Once everyone got in, they sorted out all the goodies they bought from the convenience store and Felix went back to preparing his brownies. With not much needed from Felix, everyone went to the big room and decided to watch a film. Han selected something and the other members opened their snacks and started to munch away. Lee Know, who is still quiet, has been taking selfies with silly filters again. Using the SKz Instagram, he checked the tagged photos to find cute posts of him, but happened upon a photo that seemed familiar. It was a photo of you and Changbin, and Lee Know panicked.

“I just saw the picture Changbin and Y/N took on Instagram!” he exclaimed.

Everyone rushed to see the photo, while Changbin just sat there. He wanted to seem calm and not let his curiosity overtake his confidence. But Lee Know, now feeling nosier than before, clicked on your profile and found all your posts. It was a collection of work projects, you and your students, academic events, meetings with important academic scholars, your artwork, and music.

“Changbin hyung, I think they might be too good for you,” I.N. said snarkily.

Changbin shot up and wrestled his way to the phone. He kept trying to reach for the phone but Lee Know was still scrolling. All Changbin could do was whine. They all laughed at how cute he was being and Lee Know eventually gave the phone to him. Changbin looked at the photo of you two and was incredibly pleased at how good you two looked together. He looked very handsome and you looked wonderful. To his surprise, the photo didn’t actually show how attractive you really were in person.

“That’s weird. They looked way better in person,” he softly said.

He finished analyzing the photo and read the caption. It said “I dared to ask the heavens for a chance. So, they sent me an angel and said ‘catch up to him.’ I’ve caught up and I must say, Heaven was beautiful, but not as beautiful as the angel.”
