the album is brutally honest, satirical, a bit cringe here and there, depressing and experimental at the same time, I would not side eye anyone for saying "I don't understand this" or "this isn't my cup of tea" or even "what the fuck is this" because it's obviously not a 1989 or midnights kind of album for everyone. I understand why she said she "had to put this out" but while she is at the peak of her career, she released an album that is not for beginners nor really for overall critics, it's knees deep into the taylor swift lore and probably the most herself an album has ever been, that does not mean it is a masterpiece but it makes it so insanely special

The thing that is striking me the most about this album is just how messy and human it is. She’s not holding anything back or trying to appear one way or another. She’s just letting it all out regardless of what anyone might say. She found that trying to be polished and keep all the ugly, imperfect, human stuff in to be stifling and just said fuck it I need to do this for me. This album was an exorcism for her.

It's insane that swifties are trying to villainize joe, because he shared a post against the genocide happening in Palestine on "Taylor Swift's Birthday." Mind you it was already December 14th in London when he shared the post. There's a genocide happening on the other side of the world, and the world doesn’t revolve around their favourite white billionaire Swift, who couldn't even come forward in support of Palestinian people. But even if he did that intentionally, it's genius. Because he knew people will be stalking his page today, so he should share something that's actually meaningful and should gain people's attention for serious reasons. I can't believe Joe Alwyn posted about Palestine and Swifties found a way to make it about Taylor Swift and only about her. If you think this is shading her maybe then you can acknowledge that she should have said something by now, especially since her fans have been harassing and doxing Palestinians in her name.

Taylor should speak up about Palestine if she believes everything she said in Miss Americana. It is basic human rights we're talking about and she should use her position to help. Yes, other celebrities should talk too, but when have other people stopped Taylor from doing what she believes in.

Joe Alwyn should not be sent death threats by Swifties nor should he receive unnecessary hate. NO ONE, and I mean no one, deserves to be sent death threats.

PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO NOT WORK OUT IN RELATIONSHIPS AND SO BREAK UP. What Taylor and Joe had is what Taylor and Joe had, and that's actually none of our fucking business

they broke up a fortnight into tour... the first show post joever was in florida... who's afraid of little old me being a twist on who's afraid of virginia woolf a film which starred elizabeth taylor and richard burton about a couple whose relationship breaks down at late night drinks in front of people... my boy only breaks his favourite toys - is she the toy??? free from the slammer where the slammer is an obvious reference to jail after all the criminal metaphors of her and joe tricking the system... but daddy i love him being a reference to the little mermaid where she gave up her voice for a man... clara bow being a 1920's film star who found her voice, married a guy who denied they were ever married publicly and then died + the majority of her fame coming from silent films where she literally didn't need to have a voice and then successfully transitioning into 'talkies' (films with sound).... the smallest man who ever lived vs. 'the loudest woman this town has ever seen who had a marvellous time ruining everything'... oh boy.
