I know this is random literally random thought of the day and I dont know how to say what I'm thinking in the right words but... I really wish masc lgbt folk had the same sense of community fem lgbt folk do... does that make sense? Like I look over at all the fems and its like they literallyyy all have eachothers backs they will fight wars to protect eachother its amazing. I get a lot of posts on my dashboard where they say soo many nice things about eachother and its soo nice but I wish I could be a part of something like that too you know... As a transmasc I literally do not feel that sense of community at all not even with other transmascs. and especially not with cis male lgbt folk. maybe I just dont know enough people but sometimes I feel too scared to celebrate my own masculinity bc growing up I was told it was bad cuz guys are lame IDK. its so saddd I feel like I'm missing out DOES ANYBODY ELSE FEEL THIS WAY OR AM I BEING A BABY?!?! I dont want to be a lame boy I want to be a happy boy and I want to hug all of my other happy boys and I want to go to pizza hut and share one giant pizza

Sometimes self-care is, actually, NOT getting onto the computer and little treats and watching youtube videos. Sometimes those things are self-care, but sometimes they're also avoidant behaviors.
Sometimes self care is waking up and just. Fucking getting in the car. And driving to the bank. And the store. And buying the cat litter. And changing the cat boxes you've been avoiding because your brains been stuck in a hole. And picking up the trash you've been piling up. And getting a load into the wash. And mowing the lawn before the village council sends you a formal complaint and potential-fines warning.
Like its hard and annoying to do because it sucks. It sucks so much. But if I don't start working on this pile of bullshit I've let build up because it stinks and i was stuck in deer-in-headlights mode, I risk letting it turn into fuckery. I do not have the patience for fuckery that I once - foolishly! - thought I had.

i love you so much if you are diabetic, or pre-diabetic. our society treats diabetes so poorly. it's such a readily mocked condition, people often times resort to blaming the individual for having it, even going so far as to pass judgment on the diabetic's character, regardless of what type of diabetes they have.
diabetics are wonderful and deserve to love themselves regardless of whether or not they 'gave' themselves their diabetes. whether or not the person is "unhealthy" whether or not the person eats "right" or knows how to eat in ways that are safer for their body doesn't matter, they still deserve love, respect, and compassion.
diabetes is not a fucking judge of character. diabetics deserve better. diabetics deserve respect. diabetics deserve to be recognized as disabled. diabetics deserve kindness, love, care, compassion, and support. no matter what.

I say this constantly, but: we have to chill out about the things that are happening in other peoples’ heads. we have to chill out about the fact that some people are going to have violent or sexual thoughts 24/7. we have to chill out about the fact that some people will hear voices and see things that aren’t there and that’s not the end of the world. there are many ways that brains can exist completely harmlessly. there are many ways brains can exist that only hurt the person experiencing that brain activity. chill out. it’s mostly none of your business

I think my favourite part about Tales of the TARDIS is that we get to see companions who have grown old, who are allowed to grow old.
Because in NuWho its become a trend for companions to leave in violent and brutal ways, only leaving because theyre ripped away. But Tales of the TARDIS let us see companions who grew old, lived lives after the Doctor. They get the soft ending of growing old.
Jamie gets to have daughters and grandchildren. Peri becomes a warrior queen. Vicki gets to live with her love. Tegan gets to chase her own adventures. Jo lives a life with her husband.
They get the opportunity to grow old. Leaving the Doctor isn't the end of them, rather it's the start of a different, maybe even better adventure. These shorts hold then companions and say 'it isn't a tragedy' and it's refreshing after the tragic exits of modern companions.

Screw terfs n all but are you normal about transgirls who don't want to medically transition? Are you normal about transguys with boobs who don't wear binders? Are you normal about the trans people who only want to socially transition because that's what's right for them? Are you normal about the transgirls with beards? Are you normal about the transguys who love their curves? Screw terfs, but are you normal about trans people?
