Hello, internet! A new batch of Pokémon is on it’s way to you!
Over the next 9 days, I’ll be introducing you to some common finds here in Bomura. These are the creatures you’re most likely to encounter early in your Pokémon journey, but they can be found all over the island.
Of course, if you catch them early, that means you have plenty of room to grow together!
Look out for the first entry later today!
- Prof. Ailan out.

Oho, who do we have here?
Like many Pokémon labs, at Anchore lab we offer “starters” for young people who want to embark on a Pokémon journey. The species are carefully selected so that we offer partners of a good temperament, with plenty of room to grow alongside their trainer. Our lab researches the relationships between people and Pokémon, so it’s important to get just right.
(Of course, this can mean the perfect species is relatively rare, and it takes us several weeks to track them all down for the group photoshoot…)
I hope you’ll join me over the next few days as I introduce them to you. They’re all looking forward to meeting you!

Hi there! My name is Professor Ailan. Welcome to the region of Bomura!
This region is widely inhabited by mysterious creatures called Pokémon - but unlike any you've ever seen. They come in all shapes and sizes, and live in many different places.
(This is one of my favourite species, Magnepie!)
Here in Bomura, people live and work together in harmony with their Pokémon. Battling has gone a little out of fashion recently, but- well, let's talk about that later.
I'm hoping to use this blog to introduce people to these wonderful, strange creatures, that I love to research. No matter how strange or stressful the times, befriending both people and Pokémon can help you get through them.
I do a lot of field research, so updates might not be very regular. I hope you'll stick around, and that it might inspire you to come visit some day!
