Anyone else carry around a book and pen with them everywhere they go to write down any thought that comes to their mind?
Because me too, and we should be friends:)

Stop shaming people for being passionate about the things that they love. Stop mocking people for having unusual interests. Like, honestly, I’m so tired of feeling embarrassed for being "too much". If being too much means having deep interests that fill my life with romanticism and excitement, then let me be!! I’d much rather listen to anyone ranting about their latest obsession with 16th century swords than have a boring ordinary conversation with those who shame passionate people.

Having absolutely everyone involved in every aspect of economy is absolutely inefficient in the extreme and the primary critique of absolute democracy. there aren't any modernly relevant political ideologies that actually refuse to contend with that. the problems are, again, not that there is in some sense positions of authority. to organize anything meaningfully is to utilize authority, regardless of how much devolution you purport to have. the interests for which political and economic organs are utilized is what matters, and those interests are generally those of the ruling class. in all of liberal democracies, fascist states, and modern monarchies the represented class is that of the bourgeoisie. Inversely, for socialist government, the represented class is that of the proletariat. the particular form of governance of socialist states tends to converge on a similar formation: nested councils. councils of workers are elected from a given industry who then elect to higher councils and so on; it is prominent enough that the USSR was named after it. the Soviet style of democracy, the nested councils, has been a provably effective way of supporting the objectives of the proletariat, which is an actually meaningful metric of democratic governance. quality of life, trust in the government, even traditional liberal metrics like year over year GDP growth are near universally stronger in socialist states when factoring for levels of development. it is, statistically, the preferred mode of governance for the proletariat.
