I need some feedback please 😭

Ugh so I’ve been feeling sick these last couple weeks and it’s sucks because I have so many things I want to make and i have some orders I need to complete but I’m paranoid that I have covid so I don’t want to make people their things till I get my covid results back 😭😭

Luckily it’s friends and family that I have orders for so they understand but I’m worried I’m going to fall behind on getting my stuff out there! I don’t have anything new to post right now on my Instagram because I was in the middle of a project when I started getting sick.

Should I make some things still just to get my ideas out there?? Idk what to do! I hate covid. Maybe I’m being a little too paranoid 😂

Making a business is literally not a straightforward thing, there is so much that goes with it and so much behind the scenes!

I’ve really been trying to hustle with this taking it from the ground up. I made my own logo, my own business cards, I have to run all of my social media accounts myself as well as make my products!

One of the biggest things that helps is when you have friends and family that actually support you and like your shit and follow and share everything because it’s not easy getting yourself out there and promoting your art.

It’s a little stressful when you talk to people about it and they say it’s a great idea and are super supporting about it to your face but then when you get to posting they don’t engage in any of your posts at all or if you tell them you want to make something and they say good idea I’m gonna make that for myself. Like oookay thanks for the support 🤔

It’s whatever but like you can really see people’s true beings when it comes to this type of stuff, people don’t really want to see others grow and get better at things and make money off things because they wish they did..

It’s also kind of crazy because the fact that I’ve received SO much support from STRANGERS!!!!! Like what???? I get so much more engagement from people who I don’t even know! Not only that but I’ve talked to people who have recommended things that will actually help make my products better and do I read what they say and take offense to it!!! NO! I want my shit to be good and great quality. I’ve taken peoples opinions to account and I’ve changed my products (face scrubbies for example) and guess what! They look SO much better!

Sometimes I feel like people think this is a joke, that I’m not really trying to bring this anywhere etc. But tbh I’ve been saying for YEARS I want to do this and now I finally am!!

Making a business comes with a lot to learn, production wise, promotion wise, legality wise!! Literally so much and so much detail with business aspect plus product aspect.

I really hope that I can get this up and running and that I can really get myself out there and that people who aren’t my family will by what I make 😂
