Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

It’s 2023 and I still I can’t believe Kara and Kon/Conner Kent never got to meet Martha Kent in Smallville even though they were both in the show. They deserved to get to know her. I just think about this a lot. Also here’s a sketch of Kon and Kara. I still love Smallville so much to this day.

A few years ago I made this post about an AU where Danny is captured by the Guys in White and finds out that Danielle is also in the same facility. It’s a lot of angst with a happy ending.

Today I felt the urge to draw something from this AU story I am currently still kinda writing dubbed “The Facility” for now. I’ve haven’t written much. Just a few interactions really but if anyone has any ideas I’m open to hearing them out. I just have a lot of emotions about this. The story text is a lot of an outsider’s POV mixed with Danny’s but the comic is from Danny’s POV because that felt much more natural.

If you’re wondering why Danielle is crying it’s because she has a lot of fears and experience around experimentation and she’s feeling immense relief after seeing Danny (someone she can feel safe around) after so much time anticipating the worst. I’m a sucker for them having a brother sister bond and for Danielle/Ellie to look up to Danny and also Danny being protective over those he cares about. I almost want Jazz to be able to get a phone call into where Danny is being held and for her to get to also hear Danielle for the first time through that. That’s even more reason and motivation for the family to bring down the GIW. Jazz somehow manages to get a social worker/psychiatrist to get in there to evaluate Danny for release and advocate for his right to his own half-life btw. That person (she is outsider POV) is one of the reasons the GIW is forced to treat Danny semi humanely and even allows him to meet Danielle face to face while under their watch.

This scene is the first I wrote in the story. It represents a change for Danny’s attitude now as he had been very (justifiably) confrontational with his captors but now knows that there’s more at stake then just his life. He also has someone like him he needs to protect from the GIW, the organization that is just waiting for someone to declare that he and now Danielle are just not human enough so they can be experimented on. So far they mostly just did surface level tests and are forced to where inhibitor collars and wrist cuffs.

Ectoberhaunt 2022 Free day: October 31st

Trying out some things as I learn how to use the tablet. So one of the first things I drew was Danny and his skeleton.

I love that Danny actually cares about his clone and doesn’t make Dani/Ellie feel bad for who she is or where she came from. I like to believe Jazz and Danny take care of their new sister. 😊

So Sonic has been on my mind because I finally watched both sonic movies and wow I loved them. I haven’t really paid any attention to sonic since I was really young but now I’m on board with Sonic. The movies were just so likable and now I’m attached to these characters. Here’s my attempt at drawing the team sonic trio. I’m not used to drawing cartoon animals so I thought I’d do realistic versions. It was really fun to try out. (Pencil and watercolor) I was so happy seeing Knuckles and Tails! They’re both so cute. Please accept this offering of fanart! Hehe
