coronation street is sick and twisted for telling us that a character is going to go to a fancy drama school audition and for the audition is going to perform as juliet (okay nice, classic bit of shakespeare and is also thematically appropiate to the characters other storyline about being in love with a boy her mum dislikes, makes sense makes sense) and for her second character, marge simpson. marge simpson?!?! and then they dont even show you the audition even tho that wouldve been, and i cant stress this enough, so fucking funny. like what was she gonna do?? marge doesnt have like. a monologue, this was pre simpsons movie so no "i taped this over our wedding video", at one point she references learning her lines, what fucking lines is she learning?!? "oh homie"?!?!
