important events:

- puffy receives a grand message from presumably techno; she goes to the arctic empire to leave a note that she agrees to meet

- she then decides to do minor arson to prank and get revenge against ponk

- puffy comes across skeppy and badboyhalo pranking the server by taking every single crafting table on the server and making them into a house; she gets wood to replace the stolen crafting tables from the community house

- ranboo struggles with the fact that techno and phil may be getting involved with puffy and snowchester, but decides to stay in the arctic empire instead of moving and upgrades his house

- tubbo later joins his stream and they hang out; ranboo finds he can duplicate beds

- they chat while ranboo redoes his house and goes mining

Dream SMP Recap (February 7/2021) - End of Week

I hope you all are caught up on your Tom Gravy hotdog-eating Olympics lore.

Also, the server’s first attempt at a prison break…? I guess??

- HBomb explores the SMP mainland and looks at the L’manburg Crater, wondering if he should build a house there. He runs a poll and it’s 50/50.

- H runs back through the Nether. Sam asked him if he wanted to visit Dream at some point and H said yes.

- He discusses the possibilities of future catmaid bits. Would Sam let him be a prison maid?

- Foolish asks H for 16452 sandstone. Unfortunately, HBomb doesn’t have it.

- H gets filled in on all the SMP lore and figures out the ultimate truth:

Sapnap wrote the books in the Inbetween.

Sapnap can time travel.

Sapnap is the answer.

- H speaks with Foolish, and H mentions the gold bar labelled “HBomb’s maid service” that he got from Fundy…

- Foolish says he does need some sandstone…

- Dream logs on the server. He dies in lava and leaves.

- H tells Foolish the story of how he killed Technoblade 27 times, and asks if he knows about the obstacle course.

- H and Foolish meet near the Community House and Foolish is…surprised…by HBomb’s skin.

- Foolish brings HBomb to the Temple of Undying.

- Then they go to Snowchester. 

- Later, Foolish continues work on the Temple.

- Tubbo speaks with Scott Smajor.

- Ranboo goes mining while Tubbo makes a sandwich.

- Niki shows off her secret city. It’s been coming along well!

- Tubbo is just trying to get Ranboo DMCA’d at this point.

- Niki starts working on building the secret city some more.

- Niki’s character still deals with night terrors and isn’t sure what to feel about Wilbur. She sleeps in her own chamber and writes in a diary about what she’s going through.

- George has woken up!

- He comes onto the SMP after speedrunning and wonders what to do. He needs new supplies, because he has absolutely nothing now.

- He asks if Sapnap has his stuff, but Sapnap says no. He gave it all to Karl. George calls Karl. Karl can’t give his stuff back at the moment.

- Dream and Quackity fill him in on how Tom Brady got a home run and won a gold medal in the Olympics World Cup.

It begins.

— THE FOOTBALL LORE —

Gronk, Greg, and Tony Romo all pulled their weight as well. One got bronze in the Grand Prix. They also talk about how Tom Gravy’s been doing. There’s also Tony Gravy, who is Tom Gravy’s brother, but they mean to talk about Tony Romo and how many laps he finished.

The football stans took over the trending tab with their profile pics.

- Bad joins the call and they start filling him in on the Olympics. Bad mentions the Superb Owl.

- Tony Romo is the 11th time gold medalist of the Grand Prix who is going to retire soon to become an announcer for the Bikini Bottom competition. 

- Tom Gravy never dies. Well, he said that he might in a couple years, but by then he’ll have won several more medals. His goal is to eat 10,000 hot dogs by 2022. He burns off calories by running around the Grand Prix track. Tony Romo gives him all the advice.

- They have different maps for Tony Romo and Tom Gravy, one of which is in Russia. Change of scenery.

- Tony O’Brown got one of the goals and that was it, but the real dagger was by Patrick, who threw an interception. 

Tony Romo ran a red light in Alaska, having won the Grand Prix with 21 laps, and got a mugshot for it, but got a medal for Sexiest Mugshot so it wasn’t too bad. His goal is 22.

- They also have a pizza restaurant called Tom and Tony.

- Wait, Patrick got the mugshot gold medal for running the intersection. Tony Romo went to Russia.

- Gronk faked his retirement, then lied and showed up at the Olympics, won anyway and got a gold medal. He was pretending to train but he never actually trained. He took different videos with different shirts to pretend that he was training on different days.

- Gronk wanted it to be surprising when he won. Him and Tom Gravy were very good friends. They met before the first Olympics while training together.

- George asks if there’s a Wiki to learn all this lore from. Dream says there is, but it’s on the Dark Web.

- Though Patrick had the sexiest mugshot, there were plenty of others that weren’t so sexy.

- Tom Gravy is now trending.

- George has just been mining throughout all of this.

- Karl joins the conversation. Tony Romo retired because of the money but also because he had a kid, according to Quackity. 

- Taylor Swift named something after the number of hotdogs Tom Gravy had to eat daily last year, which was 22. They call him “The American Patriot” for all the hotdogs he eats, but this year he was more of a Pirate. 

- During the Olympics recess, Tom Gravy was sponsored by Hard Mikes. 

- Greg is in his flop area at the moment. He was a Patrick fan, actually, but then the whole incident happened with the intersection.

- Out of the last 20 Olympics, Tom Gravy’s won 7 and been to 10. This is the Hotdog-Eating Olympics, though, not the world Olympics. The Hotdog-Eating Olympics happens at the rate that the Grand Prix happens divided by 2.

- There was a cheating scandal where he was accused of inflating his stomach. “Inflate-Gate.” 

- Tom Gravy ate 200 hotdogs in 12 seconds, which is called a “Scarf Ace” in the contest.

— THE FOOTBALL LORE IS OVER —

- Foolish gives George Netherite.

- Ponk attempts to kill George. George escapes to the Holy Land.

- Bad points out that because the enforcer of the Holy Land’s neutrality rules is in the prison, they’re free to kill Ponk. Dream says no, they’ll get punished if they do. He also asks why there’s a turtle in the Holy Land, and asks to delete it.

Callahan, Bad and Foolish all come join them in Church Prime.

- Ponk steals Oogway and a fistfight breaks out. Captain Puffy arrives.

- George tricks Puffy into killing him in Church Prime. Dream says that George’s stream was conveniently blacked out for some reason. They start talking about pictures.

- Callahan kills George in the Holy Land. Dream says it was blacked out again.

- Ponk kills George in the Holy Land. Dream saw that one and Ponk falls out of the world.

- Dream finally reveals the truth behind the old Bedwars clip after several months of mystery.

(It was porn)

- One thing leads to another, Dream drops some glass water bottles and sings “Mad World” in the background after being rejected by George for Valentine’s Day.

- They start leaking Rat pics.

- George is preoccupied and doesn’t notice as Ponk boxes him in with obsidian. Puffy arrives to help him out.

- Foolish shows George his summer house and gives him supplies.

- Quackity tries to insist that he’s not a competitive hotdog eater, but everyone already knows the truth.

- Karl comes online and gives George the Netherite.

- The chaos continues as they pass it back and forth. Callahan joins in.

- George goes to the prison and tries to break in. GEORGE LORE STREAM?? NOT CLICKBAIT??

- He finds a very secret and important area. 

- (It’s a lightswitch)

- George starts breaking a blackstone block in the wall to rescue Dream. 

- Dream tells George to keep trying to break him out, saying it’s been long enough. Karl says that, in his very canonical opinion, it has not, in fact, been long enough yet. 

- Dream warns George that he actually has to hurry, in case Awesam logs on.

- George sits there mining for a good few minutes. One block between Dream and freedom! Callahan comes to watch.

- He finally breaks the block!

…

…

- Aaaand behind it is obsidian. 

- George immediately ends stream.

Later, Awesam places the single block back…

…And threatens to take all of George’s canon lives if he ever messes with the prison again.

Dream SMP Recap (February 3/2021) - The Egg Fights Back

Some interesting new discoveries are made about the Crimson, as Karl time travels once more to an older time.

In the present, Puffy attempts to destroy the Crimson and makes a discovery of her own:

The Crimson can defend itself.

—

- Fundy has figured out how to create life! In the form of little clay figures shaped like people, named after his viewers.

- The mini goblins have their own AI and are going to be able to path-find. If they path-find and combine enough, they’ll be able to fight.

- He can also destroy the ones that misbehave with a special stick.

- In the future, the clay figures will be more advanced. Though chat suggests giving the clay figures the ability to commit arson, Fundy decides that probably wouldn’t be the best idea.

- Tubbo opens his mailbox and reads his letter from Tommy.

- Tubbo’s decided that his goal for today is copious amounts of murder, in which he kills anyone he comes across.

It’s time for Tales From the SMP: “The Masquerade!”

A group of rich people come together to party…or so they thought.

—

The cast:

- Karl walks up to the mansion and meets a piggy fellow named Sir Billiam III, who is hosting a masquerade ball for rich people 

- Billiam introduces Karl to his overworked butler. 

- Karl falls off the stairway and Billiam explains that this is why they have railings

- Billiam shows Karl around to the various bedrooms. The wither painting is Billiam’s favorite.

- Billiam continues to tour Karl around until they reach the ballroom. Billiam calls for the Butler to fetch some wine.

- Oliver arrives to the party. He is living in London and likes to smoke, and wears a giraffe mask.

- Lord Sebastian is next to arrive.

- Next is James, an old friend of Billiam’s. James is divorced, his family gone. James tosses Karl a bottle of wine.

- Liaria arrives

- Drew P. Weiner, who is naked, arrives. He thought it was a nudist party. Billiam is flustered and wants him gone.

- Billiam had another butler named Hubert, but he ran off and now Billiam can’t find him.

- They go to sit at the bar in the ballroom. Billiam tells the butler to feed Drew poison.

- They then head to the dance floor and hang out.

- Drew is sick and the rest of the guests scatter in fear.

- After failing to poison Drew, they go to play Duck Duck Goose on the carpet.

- The lights go dark and they scatter. When the regroup, Drew’s body is found in a secret room

- Billiam has built a few panic rooms of his own. They split to look for more.

- Suddenly, the lights dim again. 

- When they come back, they find Liaria’s body lying on the wine barrels, and Oliver almost drowns in the aquarium.

- They discuss, drink lots of milk, and find a new secret passageway leading from the barrels to the ballroom.

- Billiam and Karl suspect it might be Sebastian, who was inspecting the wine. They start to confront him, but the lights go out once more. Karl runs with Sebastian.

- Billiam is found outside and must be let back in. 

- Karl shows them where Sebastian died. Karl says it must’ve been Oliver, since he saw Oliver right when the lights turned on.

- Karl has the idea to pair up this night. Karl goes with Billiam as the lights turn off.

- The two of them crawl back up from a secret chamber and find Oliver standing right near James’ body. They question Oliver and the Butler, suspecting them both.

- They give the Butler temporary freedom of speech for thirty minutes.

- At the end of discussion, they still suspect Oliver, and assign him the Butler as a buddy. The lights go dark as Karl stays with Billiam again.

- Billiam shows Karl a panic room armed with defensive fireworks for extreme situations.

- The Butler tells them that Oliver had a heart attack. Karl and Billiam start running from him.

- Billiam leads Karl to a new hiding spot. A secret room behind a painting. It’s his favorite panic room…because it has the Egg.

- Billiam tells Karl that in his travels, he found this mansion. A breeding ground for this mysterious Egg. And in his spare time, Billiam feeds poor people to the Egg as nourishment.

The Egg did the killings.

It can persuade people to do what it wants.

- The Butler begins to glow, and chases Karl down. The noises of stabbing can be heard as the screen goes dark.

- Karl wakes up in a white castle. There’s a wither rose and a book, and his clothes are all white.

The book calls it the inbetween. A dimension connected to Karl’s powers, a home away from home.

He doesn’t get to choose when he time travels, or when he returns, but his body doesn’t have to deteriorate.

If he explores the castle of the inbetween, then perhaps he can find the key to not lose himself.

He has to maintain the library, move it to a new land, and get people to join him. But he can’t let anybody else know what the inbetween is.

- Karl wakes up in his library and begins to write. One of the books is missing.

—

- Puffy has heard rumors that Tommy broke a piece of the Egg and nothing bad happened. Can she do the same?

- She breaks off a piece and it damages her, taking away around three hearts of health. She’s shocked and immediately stops trying to destroy it.

- Ranboo logs on and is confused by where he is. The maps are gone.

- Puffy gets a Prime Suit and goes back.

- Puffy tries breaking a different piece and it almost kills her, doing six hearts of damage. Why did this not happen to Tommy? She doesn’t think she can damage the Egg at all, even with TNT. Every time she goes to break it, it hurts more. A third time and she might not survive…

- Ranboo heads off in a direction.

- Puffy wonders if the Egg chose to let Tommy have a piece of the Egg, if the Egg doesn’t want to hurt Tommy. Maybe it wants Tommy to have part of it.

- Puffy needs to get Techno to help before the Eggpire gets Techno on their side. She needs to do something about this immediately.

- Ranboo makes it home and decides to check on the Egg.

- Puffy writes in the Captain’s Log. She shouldn’t have attempted to break the Egg. There’s some sort of difference between her and Tommy.

She and Tommy both have lost friends and made sacrifices. She thought she could fix this all on her own, but she couldn’t. She doesn’t have another attempt. Each try hurts more and more. But why did the Egg choose to spare Tommy?

It’s time for blood for the Blood God. It’s time for Technoblade.

Next stream, Puffy will visit Technoblade.

- Ranboo explores the SMP and is pleased by the grass blocks in L’Targay.

- As Puffy finishes writing, Ranboo hops down into the spider spawner. He makes his way to the secret room.

- Puffy goes to see Foolish’s builds and then goes to get quartz.

- Ranboo sees the Egg, waiting for it to say something. It doesn’t, so he graffitis it instead.

- Ranboo heads back home.

- He thinks people are probably going to create countries again. It’s already happened with Snowchester. So Ranboo doesn’t want to be involved.

- Puffy works on building projects and Ranboo continues to get rich.

- ponk sacrifices f ran to the bloodvines instead of real fran to keep his cover in the eggpire; he places thirteen bloodvine spores in sam’s base

- he comes across a book in the farmhouse, written by jack the potato farmer, his ancestor; the book suggests a wheat-colored individual with emerald green eyes had spent time with him

- tommy returns to the server to get more work done for sam nook; he requests more payment so tommy trades leafy greens for diamonds from ponk

- he sends invitations to his hotel to dream, tubbo, technoblade community, and then skeppy and badboyhalo in that order

- sam enters his base for the first time and sees the massive amounts of bloodlines in it; the egg demands fran as a sacrifice, sam snaps out of it and destroys every last block of the bloodvines in his base completely

- tomorrow is the new tales from the smp episode,  ‘the masquerade,’ featuring niki, dream, and technoblade, and more!

Dream SMP Recap (February 1/2021)

Ponk has a strange dream and makes a remarkable discovery. Ranboo did something similar, but his discovery was remarkable in a very different way.

—

- Ponk’s eyes are not actually red! He just put in contacts.

- Ponk goes to bed and falls asleep. He has a strange dream about the past. About the people from the Village That Went Mad.

The mayor was speaking to Ponk’s ancestor, Jack, and his eyes were bright red.

- Ponk doesn’t know why, but he has a certain connection to this land.

- He has an urge to go over the mountain and explore. Jack might be related to him somehow. Maybe he inherited something?

- Ponk finds an old ruined house and an ancient lemon tree. He hears cats in the walls.

- He eventually goes down to explore the basement and finds a ton of villagers there. Jack was rich…What exactly did he inherit here?

- Jack Manifold plans to meet with Technoblade.

- Puffy is disgusted by all the Vines everywhere. They’ve just kept growing and growing.

- Puffy goes on a mission for some arson and has plans to meet with Technoblade. She writes in the Captain’s Log and knows that the Eggpire is out for her. Are they really her friends anymore?

- Ranboo tries to figure out what happened last time. It must have just been a dream.

- He asks Awesam for a prison visit and Awesam says he’s always welcome, though the prisoner can’t be seen as he is misbehaving.

- Ranboo visits the prison and starts answering the questions, but Awesam says this isn’t the first time he’s visited the prison. Ranboo visited the prison way back when they first locked Dream up.

- Ranboo continues to insist that this is his first time visiting, and Sam asks him to leave.

- He later meets with Sam at the Community House. Awesam says that Ranboo’s been to the prison before, and he’s signed the books in Enderman after removing all the contents. Awesam asks him what’s going on.

The writing says 

“I hearby assume.”

SIGNED

“Ranboo.”

- Ranboo says he can’t tell him.

- Ranboo asked how he was acting in the prison. Sam told him he answered all the questions fine – the answers lining up with those in Ranboo’s confrontation stream, but then he edited all the contracts!

- Awesam asks for the contracts back and says if he can’t explain this, Ranboo won’t be allowed back. Ranboo tries to explain that his memory is poor. Awesam let him bring the Memory Book and asks him what they talked about – he thought Ranboo would write it down.

- Ranboo thinks he must have burnt the book to “free his mind.”

- Awesam tells Ranboo to not try and come to the prison until he can sort this out.

- Ranboo insists that Sam can’t let him into the prison at any cost. Awesam says that’s the plan already, and asks if there’s anything he can do. Ranboo says nothing he can tell him.

- Ranboo checks. He has a 30-page Memory Book in his possession. He has three Memory Books. Is there another one?

- Sam says “The prison will not be open anymore today.” 

- Ranboo concludes that what he experienced wasn’t real, but he did visit way back, almost immediately after Dream was put in prison, and there’s a fourth book that he has to find before anyone else does…because if anyone else finds it…Dream might have a roommate.

- When something bad happens, where does he go?

To visit an old friend.

- Ranboo must have actually blew up the Community House. And if Dream is in prison, and Ranboo helped do the things that Dream got put in prison for, then…

- The book was signed with Ranboo’s name. He had to have signed it.

- He reaches the Panic Room and looks at the smile. Nothing happens. He checks the chests. The fourth book is not there. He has no idea where the fourth book is.

- Ranboo has an idea to use maps to tell where he’s already been. He calls his other state the “Enderwalk state.”

- Ranboo starts blasting Lemon Demon and tries to run through the things that he could potentially get in trouble for. Community House…maybe? It’s rebuilt, though. L’manburg…no. Nobody cared anymore. Maybe it won’t be too bad.

- Ranboo needs to wipe away any other evidence of wrongdoing that he did.
