Hiya, can I get a scenario for a close friend of Jotaro’s (reader) discovering that he has an interest in marine biology and encouraging him to infodump about what he knows while also throwing in some fun facts he might not be heard previously? Preferably Part 3 Jotaro, thanks so much! Welcome to the community!

It’s been a few months since Jotaro came back from his trip to Egypt. It was the end of senior year in high school for both of you, everyone was chatting about what they were going to do after school ended, whether if it was going to college or taking a year off from school. Everyone was stressing about what they were going to do in the future, especially Jotaro. Even though it didn’t seem like it, he had no clue what he wanted to do in life. He didn’t have time to think about it since he spent his time recovering from his injuries and trauma from Egypt and spending time with his mother since he’s gotten home. Ever since he came back to Japan, all this stress was dumped onto him last minute, he felt he had to decide quick but still had no idea. It was hard for him - deciding on what he wanted to do with his future. He didn’t even think about what college he wanted go to and he especially hasn’t thought about the career he wanted to pursue in.

Meanwhile, (Y/n) had an idea on what they wanted to do, since they had time to think about it. They were excited on finally getting to leave high school, not having to get up at 5 am everyday, not having to sit in classrooms all day, not having to deal with as many immature people - it was optimal for them. Sure they were going to miss their friends, but they were excited about starting a new chapter in life. Biology was the career they wanted to go into, specifically marine biology. They loved the ocean, they loved the vast sea and they loved learning about the many creatures that resided in the ocean. They also knew a bunch of facts about the ocean and marine life, mainly because of the books and documentaries they watched in their free time.

(Y/n) was glad to have their close friend, Jotaro back. School was weird without him, they always walked to school together and had lunch with each other. Even though he was the silent type and grumpy at times, (Y/n) still enjoyed and appreciated him. He was a great friend who was always there for (Y/n).

The bell rang indicating that it was lunch time. (Y/n) picked up their stuff and walked to their locker to get their lunch. Jotaro was waiting for them at their locker, which was a routine for them when they became good friends - leave class, meet jotaro at their locker, then walked to the school roof to eat their lunch and chill.

As they were walking to their destination, (Y/n) noticed that Jotaro seemed a little anxious, which was rare. They were hesitant on asking what was wrong, expecting that he would just grunt and say ‘nothing’. He wasn’t one to be open about his feelings, they knew this, but they felt a bit worried.

When they sat down, (Y/n) insisted to ask about what was bothering him.

“What’s up? You seem worried, Jotaro,” they stated as they bit into their sandwich.

There was a brief silence before Jotaro sighed and tipped his hat down.

“I’m not sure what I’m going to do after high school. I haven’t had time to think about it. I want to go to college and everything, but I don’t know what I want to do,” he said a few seconds later. This wasn’t a surprise, of course he was worrying about his future, high school was ending and he had no time to think about the future at all.

“Oh. Well, is there anything you’re interested in?” they asked. Jotaro lit up a cigarette and took a drag as he thought about their question.

“Marine biology,” he simply answered.

(Y/n) was shocked. Jotaro Kujo - the intimidating and serious delinquent, is interested in marine biology? They knew he had to deal with things in the sea when he was traveling to Egypt, but they never expected him to be interested in something like marine biology. It was a bit odd, but nonetheless, they were ecstatic to hear that he was interested in the subject that they too enjoyed!

“You like marine biology? That’s so exciting, I do too! What all do you know? What’s your favorite sea creature? What do you want to research?”

“Yare yare daze, I’m only a little interested in studying it,” he replied with an annoyed tone in his voice, but he had a small smile on his face.

For the rest of the lunch period, they discussed what they knew about marine life and such. Both giving each other random facts that they didn’t know before about the subject.

Jotaro thought he knew a lot, but (Y/n) knew things that he didn’t even know about. He was quite surprised that they knew many facts, but he was happy that he had a reliable source for information and someone who supported and encouraged his interest.
