We become who we are, which becomes SO, SO, SO close to those steryotypes we want to be because we know we can act and talk and be them, but in reality, don't we know that we are actively trying to become those steryotypes? And since they are unrealistic and NO ONE should ever only see themselves as one single person or characteristic, we end up being so much more, which is a blessing and a curse. We are exactly who we want to be, except are we really? Even if we come off as that, the simple fact we know we put effort into the Facade others end up seeing means that we truly can't be those things we've tricked others, and even ourselves, into thinking we are. Because there's so much MORE to us, we are all so much deeper than anything someone else can come up with for a show or book or movie, we will nver TRULY be those things we want to be. The things we want to see ourselves as are ideal and shallow and nice, but so, so, so simple, far too simple to ever compare to the life of any living thing.

Knight of Space [God Tier]
A Knight of Space is someone who starts out with a complete lack of space. Any physical areas that they clean are almost always cluttered within the next moment, chores they wish to do they can never seem to get around to, and perhaps worse of all, their minds are always cluttered with thoughts that they don't believe they need. Their main coping mechanism would likely be vent art, a way to be messy and clean, where everything is exactly where it's suppose to be, even when it's a cluttered mess.
The Knight of Space would eventually drive themselves crazy seeking space in any way they can. Even when it's something small like alone time, they treasure it dearly and react negatively when that part of them becomes interrupted. If they live with a roommate, they put up specific rules for how to keep the house clean and when things need to be taken care of. They would probably come across as a 'neat freak' or someone who is overly fussy about how things look. It stems from how Knights want control over the situations they are in. For their own minds, they could go on detoxes, even harmful ones, until they reach what they really need.
Once things are finally in place - finally clean, finally spacious - they would do their best to keep it that way. Even when they have to go to extream punishments for those who disobey their 'laws'. This could be anything from a silent treatment to actual abuse, which depends on how healthy the Knight it at the time, and the kind of relationship they have with the other person. In either case, they tend to struggle with others constantly about space. This is especially so with their inner space. I feel as though Knights of Space would be the most likely to cut someone off because they're trying to get rid of their inward clutter.
I also think about how space could relate to outter space. Knights of Space like to surround themselves in darkness, like stars, where the darkness is a form of empty. They perhaps feel the most comfortable when they're alone in a place with very little lighting, where everything is quiet (spacious sound) and put away.
An unhealthy realtionship with a Knight of Space would be if they were trying to know and supervise everything you were doing. Cleaning? Not without their careful eyes on you. Going through your old things? Not without them making sure everything is put back where it was put. Knights of Space who happen to be hoarders would likely first try to find space by moving things or stacking things in a way where there is more room to walk, even though the space didn't actually change. A healthy relationship with a Knight of Space would be if they let you do whatever you wanted and learned to trust that you wouldn't clutter their space. There's also the talk of inward space - thoughts and obligations, which also lead to friendships. I imagine starting out that a Knight of Space would make too many friends and have to learn how to cut them out in a healthy way.
The creative part of Space would likely be the same as the space, itself. The Knight  wouldn't be able to get enough of it, creating every time they got the chance. It would be an outlet for who they are, and would likely be a main problem they would have to solve, as the art piece would take up physical space.
A Knight of Space is - Someone who is like the stars, themselves. Bright and surrounded by a cloud of darkness, and someone who distances themselves from others. They clutch onto emptiness in their dire attempt to clear themselves from what they dislike....something they see as a mess. They wholeheartedly protect the parts of themselves that are like this, all the while showing how they feel and what they think through their pieces of artwork and actions. They know exactly how to handle space and the lack of it, just as they know what brushes make what strokes. Because Knights are aggressive, they can push people forward, but because Space represents creativity, they do so outside of the box, in a way that can also make others happy. Knights of Space are reckless, but witty.

Knight of Time [God Teir]
The Knight of Time is someone who starts out lacking Time (be it they need to change, as time does, or they're constantly running out of time) They simply have no control over time and how they deal with it. Life is possibly just filled with things taking life and dying off, and the Knight wants to change that and have control over what stays and what goes. The Knight of Time is someone who lacks time so much, that they are apathetic to that time, itself. It can seem like they don't know their flaws, but they do, and they try desperately to change them. Time just seems to pass them by so often that it's hard to change the things about themselves that they don't like.
The Knight of Time would eventually go out of their way to seek out the parts of the Aspect they are missing. If they're always late, they take actions to be early, even going to the extremes of staying up all night. If they struggle with having patience, then they would possibly harm themselves until they've learned what they wanted to, but not letting themselves enjoy things if they couldn't wait for them. It's hard work, and in the end, when they get what they want, they're not going to let go of it. It becomes a core part of their being. (But that goes for all Knights.)
The Knight of Time would get overly aggressive and protective about things like schedules, waiting in place, and even appreciation for change and adaptation. They would want to be listened to specifically and only when it comes to these things because they fought so hard to learn everything about it. To truly be it. And when someone doesn't listen to them about it, they could get angry or even completely cut the person off.
An unhealthy relationship with a Knight of Time would be if they were trying to control their friend's habits or rituals. If their friend were late, the Knight might be understanding, but would take it as an offense on them because of the time they put into being on time. The Knight would basically hyperfocus on something their friend is doing and try to get rid of it if it doesn't fit in line with what they know. A healthy relationship with a Knight of Time would be if the Knight had come to the full understanding, as they had been that way, before, too. Where the Knight doesn't overstep their boundaries just because their friend accidently does. Instead of being controlling, the Knight would simply help their friend become better with time management.
The main thing about Knights is that they use every bit of their Aspect in every way possible - they won't waste any opportunity to use it. This could lead to overuse of their Aspect. But it also means that they're ready to go whenever the team is.
A Knight of Time is - Full of patience, without taking life for granted, and understands the beauty of death. They embrace time and protect it, not letting anyone step on it's toes. But they can often try to be controlling of people's actions when it comes to things like preparing something or needing to be somewhere at a specific point in time. Because Knights are aggressive, they can push people forward without thinking, but because Time represents patience, they do so with a gentle hand. Knights of Time are reckless, but calm.

I hate that every dream starts out with a spark that was started by someone who’s probably a bad person.
I hate that all my idols are either pedophiles or dead.
But I hate being ignorant even more.
And I swear to God if, like, Andrew Hussie or Thomas Sanders end up being child abductors and secretly racest, I just, BLEH.

fat bodies tutorial!
ALRIGHT SO my pal @kalreyno wanted help with drawing fat characters and as a fat artist i felt like i could give a bit of helpful insight on that. there’s also been a lot of complaining about “boo hoo fat characters are hard to draw so i can’t include them in my work Ever” goin on lately so if that’s your case then this is for you too!! and also just for anyone who would like help with fat bodies in general, ofc. anyway, let’s get this show on the road!!
Tumblr media
let’s start with some common misconceptions. these are the two main attempts at chubby bodies i run into, so i’ll focus on them.
the Anime Chubby i see everywhere, and it’s just……so wrong in many ways. first of all, there is almost no additional body fat compared to your average thin character - except for where it’s added in “attractive” places (breasts, hips, thighs). the breasts are way too perky, and don’t have the realistic shape fat would give them (though how to draw accurate breasts is another tutorial all on its own lmao). there is still a thigh gap, which usually only happens in very thin people, and bones are still visible on the surface of the skin, which also rarely happens in fat people.
the Michelin Man is better in some ways, but still not that great. it’s a slightly better attempt, but basically all that’s done there is taking a thin character and blowing them up, while giving no thought to fat distribution. the thigh gap is usually still present, and they look a lot more hard than soft - and fat is very soft and pliable.
Tumblr media
here’s a chart on how fat usually distributes (if you can’t read my messy writing, “1. next to no fat, 2. moderate amount, 3. most of the fat distribution”). basically, the more muscle an area has, the more prone it is to develop fat, such as the abdomen, thighs, and upper arms. it’s important to note that fat sits on top of muscle, and that it does distribute in different levels, and not evenly across the body as shown in the Michelin Man.
Tumblr media
now, here’s an accurate fat body with all of that kept in mind!! notice how the fat isn’t only kept to aesthetically pleasing areas, and how it sits realistically on the character’s body. their breasts sag a lot more, which happens even in thin people with larger breasts, and the nipples are pointing more downwards than straight out. there is no thigh gap in sight, there are no bones in sight, and most importantly, they have fat rolls, which are very important in drawing a convincing fat character!! as far as i know i’ve never met a single person with no rolls at all, and everyone has them, whether thin or fat - they’re just more prominent and more consistently present in fat people. pay close attention to where they are and how they’re shaped.
Tumblr media
here are a couple of drawings showing how fat is affected when sitting vs stretching. as seen in the first, the fat specifically on the stomach is distributed a lot more evenly and stretched out, so it becomes “flatter”. the love handles are still pretty visible, though, as well as the fat on the thighs and arms. the breasts are raised with the shoulders, and the fat on the shoulders and near the neck forms rolls as it’s being pushed together.
in the second, there is a lot less room for distribution, so the fat is all pushed together. the breasts sag and the stomach forms rolls and spills into the lap. a good analogy for the way fat works is to liken it to a water balloon, and thinking of how its shape would change when resting flat on a surface, hanging off of a ledge, held upright, etc.
Tumblr media
here are a few extra tips i find a lot of people miss!
first on the top is the hip/pubic region. the first circle is showing the way the bellybutton is folded in fat people, as opposed to stretched out in thinner people. the second is the stomach fat spilling over onto the pubic region and creating a separation in the two areas, which is something that’s missing in a lot of art. in addition, the pubic mound also gains fat, making it round as seen in the profile drawing i did up there (i’ve heard people refer to it as fupa?). the last in the hip region is the lack of a thigh gap. i can’t stress this enough!!!! if you’re trying to draw a convincing fat character, make sure their thighs are pretty much always touching!! for reference, mine literally don’t separate until my feet are about 2ft from each other.
the bottom right is showing the double chin, which a lot of people are afraid to draw!! fat does distribute itself here too, and there’s nothing wrong with it, so don’t feel like you shouldn’t give fat characters a double chin in your work for fear of it looking like a caricature.
in the bottom middle, it’s showing how fat affects different types of breasts with the presence of more or less breast tissue.
lastly, at the very right are stretch marks with their usual locations and directions, which i also can’t stress enough!!!!! i sometimes forget to add them honestly, but they’re so important in accurately portraying fat characters, as they literally come from the skin being stretched from fat being gained (and they’re also just rlly neat lookin like why wouldn’t you lmao). some people have less and some people have more, feel free to experiment with them!
Tumblr media
the last thing is body types!! there isn’t one single way for a person to be fat, so feel free to experiment with shapes once you’ve learned the basics!!
so there you have it, a tutorial on how to draw chubs!! now go forth and make some accurate fanart or some rad fat characters, because the world could always use more of both. hmu if you have any questions or concerns, and thanks for reading!!
EDIT: someone pointed out the bad wording in the tutorial. thank you for bringing it to my attention and sorry for offending anybody. i’ve updated the tut, so please reblog this one!

Ohh, alright. That makes a lot of sense, actually. I’ve just always heard the distinction between Pan and Bi as “Bi is attracted to cis people and Pan is attracted to everything, no matter what”, which is what included Trans, in my mind.
But, I think the way you explain is makes a lot more sense. And I never meant that trans men and women weren’t people at all. I actually feel super bad, but I’m glad I know better now.
I should talk this over with my lil’ sis. She’s pan, but she’s still discovering a lot about who she is. I think it would be nice to talk about it, since I know it’s super important to her.
Thanks for talking to me, even though I seem to be a rude dork. I’m pretty sure that’s what I came across as, at least.

today I had a dream that there was a species of deer called “ice deer” and every winter they’d travel up North and have their babies in a frozen cavern and the babies would be sort of comatose in the cold, and then the deer would leave the babies there and migrate South until spring, and just before the first thaw, they’d go back up North and find their babies and wait for them to thaw out and wake up and they’d nurse them.
But with the Earth getting warmer and spring coming sooner and winters being less harsh up North, the babies were starting to thaw out too early, so when the Ice Deer got to them, they’d been awake already and starved to death.
So there were only like, 300 Ice Deer left. They were bigger than elks, all white with blue antlers that even the females grew, and I realized the only solution would be to somehow lead them North every year when it started thawing. As a human I could check the weather and the ice in the North Pole and when it was time to go to the babies, even if the deer thought it was still winter.
So I had to devise a plan to get the Ice Deer to follow me North to their babies on time every spring, and it just became part of my life. I did other stuff and lived life as usual while keeping track of the weather near the end of winter and I’d be like, welp it’s time to lead the deer North, and I’d set out to find their winter home.
And a lot of people were like “this isn’t a permanent solution. We need to focus on climate change so it’s fixed for good.”
and I was like dang I know but the Ice Deer need us right now so, someone’s gotta do it? And it just became a thing I did.

How I Made My OC-Sona [Rose Tarbox Vine]
1. The Name
The name for Rose comes from “Hourglass Rose”, a made up flower I drew back in about fifth grade. Back then, I wanted to have a game name like my brother (who used Creeper) and my uncle (who used Ace), and when I started drawing this made up flower, I adopted it as my own name and have been using it ever sense. I usually use Hour, Hourglass, or Glass. But for this character, I made her name Rose, as it’s a bit more realistic. I also use to have a fake Quotev account called Rose, where I would go back and make friends with someone who had blocked me, as they would argue with me about petty things. But, uh, that’s not important!
Tarbox actually comes from a friend. We both agreed it fit her because “Tar” matched her oddly dark personality, where she’s interested in crimes and murder and tends to lean more to watching the news rather than a show. Box also fits her because of her childishness - it makes me think of a kitten playing in a box. Box is cute to have as a name, and for Rose, her excitement and bursts of sudden, chaotic fun fits the name “box”.
Vine comes from the fact that her entire family is named after plants. I wanted them all to have a plant-like last name, since most of her relatives are named after flowers. But I didn’t want a plant name that could be used as a first name in case I needed to make any more of her own relatives. Vine came to mind and stuck pretty well.
2. The Looks
My favorite color at the time was blue, and my favorite kind of hair is long hair, so I had Rose have long blue hair. It’s pretty simple, there. She has the same skin type as I do, as well as dark brown eyes like me. She also wears glasses.
I wanted Rose to be a part of me that was silly and childish, but was also a part of my more morbid interests. So I gave her bazar turtle necks, neon pants, glow in the dark shorts, and a need to create her own clothes. Not to mention the pineapple socks, as pineapple is a bazar fruit, and the penguin socks, because most of the soft blankets that I own have artic animals on them.
She also wears mitchmatched shoes, like a child would.
3. Strengths and Flaws
Obviously, I gave Rose a few of my own strengths, as she’s my persona. Creative ability (although Rose makes and draws clothes instead of writes) and a charming personality who’s able to make friends fast. I’ve always been able to make friends rather quickly, but my problem became keeping friends, and so that was a flaw I also gave Rose. Rose has great perception - she’ll notice things even when they’re insignificant. She’ll notice someone roll their eyes and shrug while they’re standing beside her, and she’ll notice something move in a far off distance. She can spot the tiniest of things and notice stuff other people tend to look over. I gave her this because of a running joke with a friend of mine that I see the small details while she sees the big ones. As such, Rose has a hard time coming to terms with things that are in her face and glaring at her. It’s as though she denies it, because she’s focused on the small details. Even so much as someone becoming attached to her would fall under the radar as she focuses on the way that they talk and move. If someone doesn’t outright say they are her friend, she’s probably not going to know that fact. I didn’t want Rose to be stupid, though. She’s not oblivious or naïve, because that’s something I faced growing up. Everyone saw me as innocent, and to a point, I was. But it’s not like I didn’t know things - I just denied knowing about them, even when I knew, because that’s how I wanted people to see me. Rose can tell when someone doesn’t want her around, and she can pick up on hints that others are trying to get at. She knows her place with people, and sometimes, she actively doesn’t care. I gave Rose my self confidence, as well as an ego that I wish I had. The ability to not listen to anyone but herself, and to be able to defy standers set by others. This is the kind of person I wanted Rose to be - strong and independent, but childish because she values the freedom of having fun.
4. The little things
In my opinion, the smallest things are often what speaks the loudest. I wanted Rose to have an overexadurated past that related to mine. I also wanted to throw in some random things that didn’t correlate to me, but made Rose’s character more interesting.
For instance, her mother, Delilah, had a set of still born twins. Rose had made them tiny glasses for when they were born, but when they ended up being dead, she decided to keep those glasses and carries them with her when she can as good luck charms. She’ll often talk to them when she’s alone, as well.  Rose was just really looking forward to being a good older sister, and when that was denied, she tried to find a way to still portray that. Often times, I also find myself trying to make up for lost opportunities, even with people. If one friend doesn’t give me what I need - a reaction or something of the sort - I seek it out in another friend, or even in strangers.
Rose is a nightowl, as well, because I tend to be.
Anyway, I was going to make a post about how our characters we write and our own physical body are always going to be connected somehow, but then I wanted to just talk about my favorite OC-Sona.

Ah, sorry about that. I was trying to use “transpeople” as a means of not saying “transwoman” and “transman” over and over again, since the person could have been attracted to either men or women. I’m not sure how else to word that, but I’ll stop using Transpeople from now on.
