@peisuri Thank you very much for your comment! I am glad you voiced your perspective!
I was reading many quotes about happiness and majority of them concurred with the idea of happiness being a mindset.
It is a conscious decision. Being content with what you have and who you are.
However, does that mean not being satisfied with what you have and willing to work hard to achieve it makes you unhappy? Does ambitions make people unhappy?
The times I had to study hard did not make me happy. The outcome sort of did.
Would I be happy without it? Possibly?
How to achieve balance between momentary happiness and long-term one?

....5/30....
There are some allegations of Kylie Jenner lying about her billionaire status. Whether it’s true or not, I feel relieved that ‘always wanting more’ is a trait present in other people (other than me), as well.
It makes me feel more human? Like I fit in?
I wonder what other people’s driving forces are to be like that. Is it happiness?
Something tells me, this is not the way happiness works...

....my..story....
What is happiness?
I thought I would be happy once I am successful.I defined success as having excellent grades, getting into good schools, etc. having a perfect life.
I have mostly achieved the first two criteria for the self-defined ‘success. That said, I am not happy. Not miserable either, only good. I have redefined ‘success’ by adding criteria that will definitely make me happy.
..... but will they?
Looking at the patterns of my past behaviour, it seems to me that I will add other criteria that prevent me from becoming happy.
I need to change my perception of happiness. I will first try it by creating happiness from within.
This is my journey in creating real happiness.
