Lysander fans: Lysander is the main character now because he’s trying to rebuild what Darrow broke!

Words do not do justice to how deeply beautiful Darrow is as a character, but I have to say that he is incredibly precious. His incredible capacity for love, that brittle core that keeps him from straying unto darker paths, the way his actions speak louder than words and how deeply he feels his emotions, that he has to hold them in check so not to be overwhelmed. His sense of humour is endearing and the way he'd blow his accounts to spoil his loved ones is the sweetest. Utterly adorable. Baby, baby boy.

It's been known all long, but this should nail down the coffin once and for all:
[ID text: Screenshot of Pierce Brown tweet saying: 'at it's core Lightbringer is Darrow's story. Time to dig the roots.']

Just thinking about how after everything Darrow has been through, all the pain he has endured and friends he has lost, he is still fighting out of love.

I just got to the part where Darrow and Victra are welcomed into the Howlers and I can’t get over how insensitive the Howlers were to Darrow when they grab him from the showers. They know that Darrow has been through hell and is still working on healing from being locked away for months, yet they grab him and force him to the floor without telling him who they are. I understand that it is a ritual and they were just trying to have a bit of fun, but Darrow becomes terrified because of their actions. I don’t think they truly understand what happened to Darrow or how it affected him.
