☾ Introducing GRAHAM REYNOLDS, he may remind some of GEORGE from THE AMITYVILLE HORROR, and others think he looks like GARRETT HEDLUND. However, she is 35 YEARS OLD and a CONTRACTOR here in New Hamelin.
☾ Strange things are happening…
Graham is responsible for building many of the homes in New Hamelin. There's something particularly special about his work, the houses always felt a little more cozy, a little more right for exactly the family that moved into the finished product. For someone so well versed in building a home rather than a house, he seemed to struggle with doing just that for himself.
Truth be told, Graham didn’t trust himself anymore. His mind seemed to betray him and he didn’t want to risk hurting anyone. He hadn’t meant for it to happen, but despite his best efforts to fight it, something inside him made him a monster. He’d become a danger to his wife and step-kids. All he’d ever wanted was to give his family the best life possible, but it turned out the only way they could have that was away from him. After they left him, Graham became withdrawn and reclusive, fighting a constant and silent battle with himself.

☾ Introducing ANDRES SAWA, he may remind some of ANTON from IDLE HANDS, and others think he looks like ALGEE SMITH. However, he is 25 YEARS OLD and a/an OCCUPATION UTP here in New Hamelin.
☾ Strange things are happening…
Andres isn’t exactly going anywhere fast. The way he sees it, he just isn’t any rush to commit to the depressing and monotonous day to day of adult life. The way others see it, though, he’s just another lazy burn out. After barely mustering the effort to graduate, or more accurately to not flunk out, he’s pretty over the system. Opting to skip college altogether, he’s entered the work force. Andres is more than content with the way his life is now, he still lives at home, works part time, and has plenty of time to hang with his friends and do his own thing.
His struggles stem from his lack of motivation. Why would he put in all this effort to move up in a job he hates? Why would he give up doing the things he loves just to become a miserable slave to capitalism and the man? That’s what the system wants, they want to steal your soul and he refuses to play their games. After all, isn’t being happy the real American dream? It should be.

How to Survive a Horror Movie is a horror town rp based in the fictional town of New Hamelin. After the disappearance of four people in 1983 the whole town has changed and seems to be a magnet for supernatural tragedies. Characters are based on popular horror movies and there will be regular plot drops and events to help move the main story forward, as well as an emphasis placed on individual threads and character development.

☾ Introducing TEDDY RUSSELL, he may remind some of TIM from OCULUS, and others think he looks like GEORGE MACKAY. However, he is 28 YEARS OLD and a/an OCCUPATION UTP here in New Hamelin.
☾ Strange things are happening…
Teddy had been taught not to trust his memories. It was hard, trying to learn to function when you can’t believe your own head. He was left traumatized at a young age and his mind seemed alter his memories to protect him, creating a new and, apparently, false narrative. He was taken to an institution and spent the next several years in therapy. His doctors tried to help him cope with his guilt and the only way to do that was to find the truth in his memories. When he turned 21, he was released back into society, no longer a threat to himself or others.
After so much time in the hospital, it took a while to adjust to being on his own again. He has the support of his sister, of course, but spending too much time with her may be dangerous to his recovery. His sister seems to suffer from the same delusions he had all those years ago, buying into the narrative that their minds had created to protect them. She doesn’t understand why he wants so badly to forget what they think really happened, but she also wasn’t the one who shot and killed their father. Still, their shared delusion is hard to ignore and the longer Teddy is on the outside and the more he looks into his family’s past, the more it’s starting to make a lot of sense. The question becomes harder and harder to carry: what really happened that night?

☾ Introducing AMITY MORRISON, she may remind some of AMY from URBAN LEGENDS: FINAL CUT, and others think she looks like SKYLER SAMUELS. However, she is 26 YEARS OLD and a/an OCCUPATION UTP here in New Hamelin.
☾ Strange things are happening…
As the daughter of an award winning documentary filmmaker, Amity never really got the celebrity treatment. After all, documentaries were amazing, but how many people remembered the people who made those films? However, that completely changed when she got to film school. These were the people who knew all about her father, his work, his awards and notoriety. There was no escaping her family name here.
She was out to prove something back then and still is to this day: she didn’t get to where she is because of her name. Her dad had nothing to do with her choice of career or her talent or hard work. He nurtured her skills, introduced her to filmmaking, but her work was going to be recognized as uniquely and independently hers. That’s why she made the switch to focus on a new genre: horror. It was a surprise to everyone, a Morrison directing slasher flicks? Insane. But this is what she loved, what she was passionate about, and these were the stories she wanted to tell. She’s currently trying to jump start her career now that she’s been out of school for a while. An indie film may be in the future, after all, what better inspiration for a horror film than her home town of New Hamelin?
