Santa Tell Me; Episode 3 [Tsukishima Kei.]

“Woah Tsukishima! You got a secret admirer??”, “What?” Walking further into the class he can see the letters on his desk. Chocolate candies and red stickers. Confused, he sits down looking around the class; he doesn't know who did it. Semi-pissed at the fact there's a colorful mess on his desk, yet he can’t find the urge to complain. There is no fake scowl on his face, only confusion. Should he rip them up and put it back together at home? Or should he leave them be? “You okay Kei?” Yama leans over his shoulder, picking at the letters Tsukishima slaps his hands away.

Jerking back with a smile, “You should find out who gave you those.”, “Why the hell are you smiling??”, “No reason.” As the teacher walks in, the class settles down.

Afraid, Tsukishima waits for Yama to finish his work to accompany him to the lunch line. Knowing how crowded it gets, he’s not really worried because he can see over almost everyone. Still, he can’t risk accidentally making a scareful face on accident. “How are we supposed to find-“, nudging him in the stomach Yama walks to get food, “Eat. You look like you’re gonna throw up.” Scoffing, he complies. “Whatever.”

“Does he really care?” Your friend sighs, not knowing you both can see him sitting, and stuffing his face with rice. You can’t help but giggle at the rice on the side of his cheek. “Aw, Don’t get your hopes high hun.”, nodding but not caring, you go back to your game. “Hey y/n can you help us in the gym later? Hinata broke the broom so now we need two helpers, and he asked us to ask you-“, “Sure suga.”, “Oh really? Thanks 4pm!”, “That was convenient.” Laughing to each other, Tsukishima glances at the smile on your face, hand on your stomach, watching how the vibe changed. How his eyes flicker at your smile. “Who are you staring at?”, turning his head back around, he abruptly gets up to throw his trash away.

Doing the same you don’t even notice him right beside you. It’s not till you run into his back that you notice. Gripping your shirt so you don’t fall, he helps you gain your balance. “Watch where you’re go-“, “Thank you Tsukki.” Cutting him off with an apology, you set the tray in the trash and walk away with your friend beside you. Setting his above yours he’s confused. Tsukki?

“What’s that supposed to mean?”, “It’s a cute nickname!” Patting him on the shoulder his green haired friend goes to change his shoes. “Yea, but what for?” “You think your nickname is cute??”, “What? Don’t be stupid.” Rolling his eyes, he honestly doesn’t know what to think. He just wants to see who it is. Though, he would feel a bit better if it was you.

“Guys line up.” Fixing his laces he stands in line with his teammates. “This is y/n, here to help with clean up, and if you guys need anything.”, “Hello.” With a polite bow, you walk over to the gym's stage. Standing in front of it, you jump back to sit on it. Setting your backpack down, you put on gloves and wait for instructions.

Staring almost, at you that is, he observes your body language. Waiting for a chance to walk somewhat by you. He gets interrupted by Yama patting him on the back, followed by Tanaka and Suga.

“Heard you have a secret admirer.” Tanaka states, Suga adding in, “Seems to me like you're doing more of the admiring.”, “Whatever makes you feel comfortable.” Walking away with a scoff, he knows he won’t be able to focus, but by the time he looks up he’s on his last drill. Sweating as much for all of the boys, you smile gently at him. Only him, and he knows he's the only one noticing. Because he’s been staring at you the whole day. But you don’t take it as a challenge, or permission. You wait for him to realize it's you that likes him. Worried to get rejected, you wait. If it works then it works.

Finishing his last drill, you wrap a towel and his bottle for him. Walking up to hand it to him, you practically have the whole gym staring at you. “You think he’ll take it?”, “Shh! Daichi, he's right there.”, “You literally yelled that.”, “No. Whisper yelling.”, “What is whisp-” Only noticing you walking up, when he hears a soft tone in your voice. He turns around looking down at you and hesitates. “What is that?” He blurts out, externally facepalming, embarrassed their first year blocker doesn’t understand what's going on.

Giggling you smile, handing out your arms nudging it towards him. “Your stuff dumbass.” Blurting out on accident as well, you meant to say something like, For you Tsukki. Both of you are embarrassed. You walk back to Kiyoko, resting her hand on your back and she laughs quietly. “Ugh I ruined it.”, “That’s okay. There’s always a next time.”

After everyone finishes, you and hinata work on cleaning up. “Y/N! Thank you so much for helping!! We should get onigiri after!!”, laughing at his childish antics you nod. “Anything for you Nata’.” Watching you with Kageyama, he sighs. “y/n huh?”, “Pretty much.”, “I see. Why don’t you just ask?” Sighing again, Kageyama practically can understand him from each breath. “Too much work huh?”, “Yea. Pretty much.”, “Is it annoying?” Looking to the side he ponders, “Frustrating.”, “Just ask Tsukishima. You probably will find the answers.”

Walking to the bathroom, you and Hinata finish up at the gym. “Thanks again y/n!” Nodding you look for your coin pouch, stuffing it in your pocket. “I’ll get the onigiri okay?”, “Someone should go with you.”

“Tsukki can go, he’s tall and scary.” Yama butts in, cringing at the name you nudges his friend. Sighing, he agrees, “Fine. Whatever but hurry up.”, “Sure thing Tsukki.” Using a free pass at the nickname, this time he doesn’t cringe. Deep down he smiles. Walking some distance, he tries to avoid the mistletoes hanging from almost every roof or lamp post.

“Cut the shit.”, “The shit is cutting.”, “I know it was you.”, “Yes I slept with your brother.”, “What?!” “I’m just joking jeez.” With a laugh from you, he grunts. “No like.. stay serious.” Nodding, silence overtakes you two as the sound of coins and paper jiggling is the only thing heard. “I said be serious not shut up.”, “I know, but you have something to say don't you.”, Fiddling with his jacket pockets he eventually slits them in. Staring at the snow on the ground, his mind drifts to how many lizards have died because of it. “Why did you put them on my desk?”, “Why do you think Tsukishima?” Frowning at his name, he wants to scream. Are you mad at him? Or did he offend you?

“I- don’t- know??”, “Because, I like you dumbass.” Nodding to himself, he’s flustered, heavily flustered, and confused. “It’s fine if you don’t feel the same.” Still not gaining a response, you guys reach the store. Waiting for you outside, he smiles at himself. Y/n likes me?

“Are you ready Tsukki?” Moving behind you, he sticks just a little closer to you this time. Observing you more, he learns your habits, favorite foods and even How to love you.

“Tsukki? Are you okay? It’s really late..” wiping your eyes, you search for any wounds or signs of harm. “I'm a fine dumbass.”, “You asshole, what do you want?”, “I want you.”, Face heating up, he doesn’t realize he mixed up his words. He does want you, but he didn’t want to say it right there. Snowflakes falling on his head, there's a silence. Till you see his face turn red you awkwardly laugh. Then it dawned on him, “I-I Meant I want you to be mine for Christmas. Yea that's what I want.”, “Or no, I meant I like you.” Confused by his words, he’s trying not to look like a fool for coming to your house on Christmas eve at 11pm.

“Me too Tsukki.” God he’s missed his nickname, being called by you. “Yeah?”, “Yes Tsukki.”. Walking towards him in your jammes, you stand on your tippy toes and wrap your arms around his neck. Giving him a kiss on his cheek, to his neck he holds your waist. Suffocating in each other's body, his temperature rises. Good thing it’s cold outside. Wanna keep him warm? Fluster him.

“Promise to be careful going home okay Tsukki?”, “Promise, y/n.” Always remembering that moment till this day.

bsd character gender/sexuality headcanons (i saw a post like this and wanted to do one too!)

starting with the ada:

dazai: bisexual/nonbinary. mother fucker uses he/they. 100% does not give a fuck. he knows he feels masculine to some degree but not in the man way- in the way he's "just some guy". i feel like he'd lean more towards dating men but he is attracted to women!

kunikida: bisexual. this surprised everyone. he strikes me as someone who feels uncomfortable in talking about his identity (he'll give pronouns to people who ask of course, but he wont go into detail). dazai found out first because he regularly swipes his notebook to read, but he didn't say anything to him about it, because he knows how he likes to keep his life private. kunikida eventually tells everyone as friends, though

atsushi: gay/transmasc. this is so true. i feel like he thinks women are pretty in a sense of aesthetic, but gets wildly uncomfortable with the thought of dating them.

ranpo: demi/gay/ace/agender. he just doesnt like women. he respects them, ofc, but in terms of romance, he just doesnt like them, and he will straight up say it. as for gender, he hates gender as a concept but feels masculine, and being percieved as a man is fine

yosano: lesbian. she is a lesbian and loves women so much. she does not like men but respects them in the way that they share the earth together

junichiro: pan/transmasc. look at him and tell me he's cis. i dare you. the tank top under his sweater is actually a binder.

naomi: cis/het. no explaination

fukuzawa: gay. he's just an old gay man and he loves that his organization is full of diverse individuals who respect and love each other. he's created a found family whether he likes it or not

now the port mafia!

chuuya: gay/genderfluid. i could write a whole fucking essay on chuuya's gender. i also think he's like atsushi where he likes women aesthetically but not romantically

akutagawa: aroace. he doesnt care about romance. if he meets someone and wants to pursue a relationship with them, he might, but as far as the idea goes, he doesnt really care

gin: pan/agender. she's fine with being called a girl, but she doesnt really conform

higuchi: bi. she's pretty open with the fact, but only if people ask

tachihara: bi. he just has the vibes
