#jesus r u kidding me. #i couldnt go outside my apartment without glasses or contacts #the fact that its so goddamn expensive is horrific. i have to pay extra bc ive got astigmatism #for both glasses and lenses #rn i mostly use lenses every day. one packet that lasts me 6 ish months costs me 100$ just about #which is fine! its a low cost per day of use sure #but the fact that i still need to pay for something that 1. wont last indefinitely and 2. has higher costs with worse disability #3. that i literally cannot navigate my own darn fridge without them #is absolutely ridiculous! #'just get lasik' its so expensive. oh my god it's so expensive #and even that only lasts around 25-30 years before it wears down again #(trust me ive thought about saving up for it)
