Ok but Zuko using the knowledge he acquired during his banishment to help him as the Fire Lord. Like making small talk with Earth Kingdom dignitaries about their local foods that he enjoyed and even misses. Like having in-depth conversations with his captains about sea currents and navigation. Like, in the middle of a meeting with several high-ranking naval officials, pointing out flails in security, like how a person can cling to a Fire Nation ship for hours at a time, or climb aboard using hatches on the upper decks, or disguise themselves as a lower ranking guard with easily accessible spare armour….

Though none of his experiences can prepare Zuko for the long, awkward silence that comes after he admits to doing or at least knowing something illegal and/or completely buck wild

okay so this latest episode of rwby beyond was beautiful and moving and all, but it never ceases to amaze me how good crwby is at putting their feet in their mouths when it comes to the implications they make about certain things

like what do you MEAN jaune and the gang went to the farmers market to buy farmers? to buy PEOPLE to do AGRICULTURAL LABOUR for them??? temporary arrangement or not, it's Deeply Weird to write your pale-skinned, blond-haired, blue-eyed character buying other sentient creatures. they literally could have written any other quirky afteran interaction. christ, these people need sensitivity readers

actually at risk of sounding terminally online um a lot of fandom makes gratuitous use of trans hcs which is really good i think go u i do this also BUT i also think that u need to be more critical of which characters you assign as being trans especially if u look and all the effeminate men have been designated transmasc and all the muscular women have been assigned transfem like sorry but at some point it stops being projection and just becomes harmful stereotyping. like i just think u should be more conscious of this. terfs /radfems if you even look at this post i'll shoot you to death with my laser eyes
