TLDR: Don’t watch Matt Walsh as he thinks all people with a mental disorder/mental illness are faking it. Please go watch Brett Cooper & Amala Ekpunobi if you’re looking to branch out as a leftist. They have some good-hearted content and can have some central viewpoints. Please share relatable & funny leftist YouTubers that create content 15-25min long.

I’ve stopped watching Matt Walsh since he tends to circle back to almost every mental illness being fake and something people are only doing for attention. He “can” make some good logical points elsewhere, but he is very ignorant in several other aspects/topics.

Jordan Peterson now has some controversy that I’ve seen thumbnails of, but never dove into what it’s about. Plus I honestly only listened to one podcast episode of his and he lost me on how religious-based he is. How can someone be so philosophical yet still be focused on religion? (which, as an atheist, is contradictory).

I highly recommend Brett Cooper and Amala Ekpunobi if you’re looking to branch out from strictly left-leaning content. Brett is very relatable, makes some radfem statements (unknowingly), and helps explain how conservatives view leftist ideology. She can also be funny at times. Amala used to be on the left, so she understands their thinking. She’s moreso a centrist, as both the left and right disagree with her at times. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, has a lot of fun in her podcasts, and offers her stance as a mixed black woman.

If you know of any good leftist podcasters or YouTubers that don’t solely focus on negativity and can have a good laugh, please comment on this post. Also, if their videos are a good, disgestable 15-20min that would be great. Other leftist YouTubers that were recommended to me make videos that are 40min-1.5hrs long. 💀 (so I haven’t watched them yet because of that…)
