idk if I ever mentioned my OoT timeline conspiracy theory but basically it’s the idea that there are two more timelines not mentioned by Nintendo because they’re not profitable / you can’t make a game out of them 💲💲💲💲💲💲

case 1: the ultimate happy ending where Ganon(dorf) is stopped forever. There’s no need for another hero in Hyrule’s future. They can finally live in peace!! We’ll never hear about it because a world without any problems is boring and does not sell games.

case 2: the ultimate game over. this is the event if Link never freed all the sages in order to secure the downfall timeline’s last Hail Mary to stop Ganon and seal him away. See, Downfall timeline is still considered a hero’s “success” despite his death because the sages will eventually seal Ganon anyway! But if he never did that— Ganon’s free to roam and be horrible and it’s unclear if any other hero would ever rise again since ALttP comes after and mentions that Hero of Legend comes from a dwindling/rare bloodline of knights.

in short: one timeline exists without Ganon. The other timeline exists without Link and possibly without Zelda either.

        I’ve changed this dork’s Duplicate Nickname to Tempus. It’s close to his original Tempo. But yeah. He really hates losing his identity apparently and can’t be happy with anything other than his actual name. So while the duplicate nickname exists, he’d be much happier if you called him “Link” anyway.

        “So... What brings you to the Royal Valley?” More of a rhetorical question that served as breaking the ice in the otherwise eerie silence. Most people don’t visit graveyards for fun, in spite of the abundance of white flowers crowding their arms like they had just raided a flower shop. Something to brighten the atmosphere, they’d posit.

        The older the valley became, the larger its population grew. Ancient royalty from long past would eventually all come to rest in these hallowed grounds; a reminder to keep all who ruled humble.

        Some markers were so old that they wore away with time and faded with the legends that accompanied their ancient eras. Same went for the tomb before them whose name was weathered away prompting a smile out of the stranger. How appropriate.         I’ve been playing with the idea for Percy that his instrument of choice is actually the piano like most of BotW’s soundtrack. But this is only true Pre-Calamity.

        A piano is stagnant. Hard to travel with. Kind of symbolizes his comfortable position of where he is in the Hyrulean court until he’s forced to leave via the Clamity and then he’s always traveling on foot. Thus, the instrument had to adapt with him (accordion).

        He can still play either instrument in any verse, but he does have preference and later nostalgia for the piano.
