For this week's lecture series, we have our speaker Engr. Miriam Bergado who discussed us about the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Traction.
A Minimum Viable Product or MVP is a product with just enough features to attract early-adopter clients and verify a new concept early in the development cycle. MVP will help us to find clarity and focus on the core functionality of our product. Also it will help us to develop early relationship with the customer and  better understand what the customer needs.
Traction refers to the initial progress of a startup and the momentum it builds as it grows. Traction is important to us because the higher the traction, the more investors are attracted to our business.
Therefore, MVP and traction is the process of learning and validating a product with the least amount of work and resources in order to sell it and generate revenue.

We are back on track after a week of exhaustion from the midterm exams and this time we are going forward towards the Sem's final term. This week's lecture series is all about Business Model and Canvas, which is discussed by our instructor Engr. Marberth Custer Jael. The Business Model Canvas is a strategic management template used for developing new business models and documenting existing ones.
The Business Model Canvas comprises of 9 components which are the following:
 1. Value Proposition - equivalent to your value model.
 2. Customer Segment - equivalent to customer profile.
 3. Channel - the access of the customer for your product.
 4. Customer Relationship - building relationship between your customers and your products.
 5. Revenue Model - this is how your products generates money.
 6. Key Resources - this refer to the resources that are necessary to carry out the products.
7. Key Partners - these are the partners that will help  in raising your products.
 8. Key Activities - these are the activities that will help you gain profit out of your product.
 9. Cost Structure - this provides the cost information that occurs during the operations.
Business Model Canvas is important because it helps visualize what is important and forces users to address key areas.

In week 7, we prepared for the presentation of the team’s pitch deck that serves as our midterm examination. During the pitching, our team delivered the presentation we prepared. However, one of the panel commented that there are still loop holes  in our project and still needs improvement. Our team needs to work on and apply the comments given by the panel to obtain a good and improved project.

This week was a blast. We had lots of activities and assignments but good thing, I was able to cope up and submit all of them. Also, my groupmates and I were able to meet online through Google to plan what we will start up. We reviewed the topics discussed by the speakers, that served also as a recap to refresh what we have learned. After that, we shared topics and ideas however we weren't able to finalize yet what we are going to start up. We decided to end our online meet and planned to meet again next week  assuring that new ideas will be shared.

Berkeley Innovation Index (BII) Test
Tumblr media
When I took the test, I took it seriously and I got a score 87.52 out of 100 which is not bad at all. I think I am not knowledgeable enough in innovation so there is a need for me to do something to improve.
Analysis and Recommendations
Tumblr media
The following are the analysis of my innovation mindset. So I will discuss only the lowest and highest result among with the other components.
TRUST is my lowest component because of my trust issues among with other people. But in technopreneurship, trust is the only key to increase our speed of communication and feedback for new ideas. So, I need to improve this component so that I can stick around with the other people,  allowing them to live and work together and feel safe always.
RESILIENCE is my highest component because of my toughness even though I’ve been experiencing a difficult life. Having this mindset gives me another opportunity to bounce back from being in the bottom-line. Being resilient does not mean that people don’t experience stress, emotional upheaval, and suffering.

Protagonists (ENFJs) feel called to serve a greater purpose in life. Thoughtful and idealistic, these personality types strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them. They rarely shy away from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy.
Protagonists are born leaders, which explains why these personalities can be found among many notable politicians, coaches, and teachers. Their passion and charisma allow them to inspire others not just in their careers but in every arena of their lives, including their relationships. Few things bring Protagonists a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.
STRENGHTS and WEAKNESSES
Protagonist (ENFJ) Strengths
Receptive - We protagonists have strong opinions, but we are far from closed-minded. We recognize the importance of allowing others to express themselves fully. Even when we don’t agree with someone, we recognize that person’s right to voice their truth.
Charismatic – Determined and inspiring, we protagonists often find our way into leadership roles. Whether we are the captain of the softball team or a leader on the world stage, we rarely lose sight of our main goal: to be of service to others.
Passionate – We protagonists are far from being boring do-gooders. These types brim with our interests, and we take great pleasure in pursuing our hobbies – whether that’s hiking, cooking, dancing, growing houseplants, or something else entirely. As a result, we rarely find ourselves at a loss for something interesting to do.
Protagonist (ENFJ) Weaknesses
Unrealistic – Many of us  protagonists put pressure on ourselves to right every wrong that we encounter. But no matter how hard these personalities strive, it just isn’t realistic for us to solve all of the world’s problems. If we aren’t careful, we can spread ourselves too thin – and be left unable to help anyone.
Intense – When it comes to self-improvement, we are rarely short on energy or determination. But we  protagonists may not recognize that not everyone shares these qualities. At times, we may push others to make changes that we aren’t ready for – or simply aren’t interested in making in the first place.
Overly Empathetic – Compassion is among this personality type’s greatest strengths. But we protagonists have a tendency to take on other people’s problems as their own – a habit that can leave them emotionally and physically exhausted.
