I hope that someday there will be times when people who like each other can easily kiss on the red carpet and no one will faint.

In Casablanca, they talk about the heart, about how if Renault were a woman, he would fall in love with Rick, and they leave together (into the sunset)
In Tenet, there is only knowledge of drink preferences, and Neil DIES (bury your gays trope?)
In 2022 we have even LESS than in 1942

Just imagine that a man and a woman in a movie or tv show are "close friends", look at each other in a special way, help each other in everything, save each other's lives. And then suddenly someone from the audience will say - in my opinion, there is love between them.
Will anyone be nervous about this? "No they're just friends. Are you crazy?"
Will anyone "protect" poor producers who are "attacked by nutty fans".
Will anyone advise re-reading what "romantic line" is.
"The fact that the characters are close people does not make them a romantic couple! What??? Are you also asking the filmmakers to make them a couple? How dare you!"
No, no one will do that, because it's about a man and a woman. And as soon as the conversation starts about a man and a man, or about a woman and a woman, everyone immediately becomes terribly nervous.

Achieving Peace in the Busy Hassles of Life.
Tumblr media
We live in a world that moves at breakneck pace. Business and home lives are frequently rushed and mingled in a flurry of activity. You are obtaining information at a higher rate than at any other moment in human history. The speed of life appears to be increasing quicker and more frenzied every year, thanks in large part to technological advancements. Your internal gear may appear to have only two speeds: fast and quicker.
Unfortunately, these characteristics have become accepted side effects of modern living, and rushing through your day may be the norm. You may find yourself rushing from one thing to the next, hopping from work to school and cramming as much activity into every second as possible. While this fast-paced lifestyle may offer the appearance of efficiency and high performance, it can have a significant negative impact on your mind-body balance, happiness, and well‐being.

Here are a few tips to consider as you try to find a state of peace amidst your hectic daily life:
Acknowledge that haste is a habitual mentality.
Rushing is harmful to one's health, pleasure, and fulfillment. There will be no reason to break your addiction to speed unless you realize that running through life at a roadrunner pace isn't useful in the long term. Recognize the detriment this has to your health, and will your self to slow down.
2. Establish a Positive Relationship with Time
Ever so often we feel as if we are running out of time or that it is never enough to cover all the things we need to do. Recognize that time is not your adversary. Your views of time shape your experience of time, therefore act as if you have all the time in the world.
3. Disrupt the Norm
Pause, focus your attention on your body, and take long, steady breaths when you sense yourself becoming caught up in the turmoil of rushing. Remember that your actual nature isn't the activity around you, but your appreciation of life, and ground yourself with the steady pace of your breath.
