interest check!

last year, TSW didn't get as much attention as it did the first year. most of the submissions were art pieces on instagram and we only got one person submissing for TSW on tumblr. I will be doing an interest check this month with 4-ish months til the date & then one more in july with 2-ish months.

Trans Sides Week is USUALLY ran September 11th-17th, though this year as the day has moved, it'll most likely be ran September 8th - 14th. this event is all about transgender headcanons for the sides and it accepts all forms of media (fanart, fanfiction, songs, edits, poems, cosplay, etc). it is ran on Tumblr, Instagram, and Archive of Our Own.

This year's prompt themes will be focused on Alternate Universes and Scenarios, with alternative prompts closer to how I usually make them and, as always, the option to opt out of the prompts. a lot of the prompt submissions usually ask for "beach day" or "historial au" and the like, so I have decided to honor that.

if the main answer is No, then it is unlikely the event will happen at all without a second interest check.

Virgil can be summoned by an adrenaline spike

Roman sleeps for over 11 hours in one sitting

Janus is canonically cold-blooded (and roman knows this)

Remus named his shower drain "Joanne's Fabrics"

Both of the other dark sides have already known this

Janus and remus had to "come all this way" for the video

Logan doesn't usually plan Secret Santa, someone else does

Logan voluntarily wore a Santa hat and invited the dark sides

Logan called roman a "master of (almost) all rhythms"

Patton knows very little to nothing about remus as a side

Virgil arguably knows logan the most of all the sides

And I think that's beautiful

i’ll post some written info and a short fic i’m working on soon (yes there is also an infection au to go with the sides crossover lol)

also very sorry i haven’t drawn remus yet but trust he will be here soon!

my fav parts about the au:

-virgil is a pegasus but doesn’t know how to fly (he’s v embarrassed)

-janus is part changeling

-janus and remus both live together in the everfree forest

-remus has a broken/cracked horn

-roman is not the best with magic and often has to ask logan for help

random sanders sides au concept in which roman is a famous theatre/film/movie star who is very successful and rich and beautiful, but he is also quite young and naive, and so a lot of people try to take advantage of him. when he does a new movie, his costar, a less famous but very experienced actor named janus makes it his mission to protect roman from all the bad parts of fame that ruined his own life when he was as young as roman.
