My book has been out in the world for a month now, so I’m reblogging in celebration 🥳😊
Building a Home is now live! It’s a real thing that really exists that people can spend real money on!
Overview: He’s a walking cliche, until he’s not. He’s got dirt under his fingernails and in the crevices of his Chevy truck, no matter how carefully he washes them. He’s got a pair of working boots for the day-to-day, and then his nice boots for Friday nights at the bar and Sunday morning services. He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, his vowels are long and his consonants are soft and the Gs at the ends of his words are nonexistent. His hands are covered in hard calluses, but anyone who’s seen him hold an animal knows his heart is soft.
Daniel's crush on Justin Chase was never anything more than a fantasy, especially once he left Slanted Oak, Texas. But life didn't work out quite the way he planned: his business partner betrayed him, and now he's starting over in his thirties, back in his home town and living with his parents. On the bright side, he has a house renovation project to keep him occupied and it turns out his hopeless crush might not be as hopeless as he thought.
Building a Home is a low-spice m/m romance set in central Texas that includes ace-spectrum representation, dad jokes, and supportively meddling family members.
one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method
