Lately I’ve got no time to delve into my hobbies, unfortunately. But! A school-project provided a good outlet for that artistic desire to be expressed haha, sort of over did it (and ended up short on time, oops).

Some close-ups to my favorite ones/most enjoyable to do under the cut:

Main goal here was to get shapes and texture of the cheese/noodles, I think it ended up p okay, loved the colors of the noodles

Love the texture/shiny/greasiness of it, though I doubt it really translates as a dip lol

Like the corn, but all of this was fried and I have null idea on how that goes. Plus, all uses contiguous hues and that really was a 4/10 experience.

The chicken’s color was in part done by accident (didn’t notice the blending mode) — and one I’m happy about!

Proud of how the tray metallic reflection/shadow translates. The pie? not so much I think so.

Will admit I gave up on the green onion rings, but I like how the noodles turned out, considering it was my first attempt.

The shininess reminds me of how greasy they are, so I’m ok with this one. 10/10 enjoyed doing it.

Not a fan of the cake texture, but I like the icing colors.

This one was a -2/10, didn’t like how I couldn’t pick up the texture or shape/color of the chicken and plantains :(. Liked the lemons tho, even if it’s a reuse of the other dish.

Had a blast doing the shrimps and noodles, and of course picking the dish’s colors. However 5/10 in trying to get the right colors on the shrimps.

All in all, loved the experience and how I relied on building shapes through colors. Noodles were fun to do.

205th Night Tyki really shone through, huh? Also in Vol.26 I just realized he says something like “Let’s go home, Allen Walker”, and him calling him by his full name I — sir, my heart.

This is nothing but for self-indulgence and comfort lol. Also figuring out the tools available in the software (〃°ω°〃). Also Neah is 100% ready to go for Tyki’s throat if he dares finish his sentence (not that Road would let him, but still).

I played around a lot between each file, which I’m sure it’s obvious haha. Used a lot of blending modes as well as the selection tool, and of course, the exporting option to find the smallest file size while still mantaining a high fidelity to the original image (which, hey, from those 20MB/10MB to 2MB, it’s cool. Also the reason I forgot to put the signature on all of them).

Cleaner and summarized illustrations of that one idea where Tyki finally meets Nea face-to-face (sort of) and realizes that yep, in fact, they do look stupidly similar. Wish I’d drawn more to cover more of the small plot. Ah, oh well, 

I just want to explore so many ideas but have little time/energy to do so ( ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ _ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ )

Biggest difference is the color, which isn’t much an issue on the other files as they don’t use the range this one does, and modifying the Color Reduction Algorithm fixed the difference in color for the most part. Mmmmmh, though in the end color can change depending on your display settings.
