Had fun making this little guy! I made the head of this dude a year earlier actually before finally getting around to making the body this year. That’s what happens when I get side tracked! He’s not based off of any specific type of pteradon, which is fine with the fantasy nature of this dude. I loooove adding moss to dinosaurs. He will be available up on my Etsy soon!

Hey y’all! Sorry about the lack of posts, Tumblr just never comes to mind, the same with a lot of my social media accounts. A recent death of a friend has left me in a low place, but I’m trying to stay positive. Art comes and goes, though I probably won’t be doing customs or commissions again for a very long time. A recent issue left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to commissions. Thinking about deleting most of my social media accounts I have since I don’t tend to use them nor do they have a good influence to give (Twitter is literally a shithole). The only ones I will continue to use would be Instagram and possibly Discord. My Twitter account will be deleted soon, though I’m unsure if I should deactivate this Tumblr account or just leave it inactive/indefinite hiatus. I’ll probably make a brief announcement here whether I decide to remain active, inactive, or to just flat out deactivate this account.

some asshat pinged it on a commission I did for a client. I’m not fuckin happy that someone tried to steal my damn art, that someone else paid to have done of THEIR character no less.

I’ve been getting quite a few requests and inquiries when I’ll have my commissions open and available. Still pondering reopening them, but the commissions would not be finished before Christmas. It would be only for those interested in not caring if it comes after Christmas. With Thanksgiving coming up and school to finish, I would be limited to maybe 3 commission slots. The Mire Ceratopsian The lush and murky swamp lands is what the Mire Ceratopsian calls home. It's feet caked in thick mud and dead vegetation as it wallows through water and silt of it's watery home. The constant state of it's wet skin has allowed moss and algae to grow on it, providing camouflage for it's environment and in return, a traveling haven for the green slimy foliage.

Merlin is completely handmade, original and OOAK (one of a kind). His head, horn, ears and hooves are sculpted, every shape, line and fur detail made with the outmost of care and time. The head is also casted for durability, and everything painted, shaded and highlighted in acrylics with small brusches, time and effort. The eyes are glossed for a lifelike look and everything sealed and varnished for protection. His body is made of the softest and most high quality fauxfur that Ive designed and trimmed over a very sturdy wire skeleton. Ive even hand dyed the spots on the fur. Merlin is completely posable, from his limbs, body, tail and neck.  He can take a wide variety of stances and is super durable (wont break even if you happen to drop her - she is not a toy for childen tho but a unique artwork). The Unicorn is a truly unique artdoll, lots and lots of hours, skills, careful work and a part of my soul went into making him and I will never make another like him again.
