Nina gets recruited by Fedyor as a grisha spy in the little palace. In the books it was a mission led by Zoya a year after the war but the timeline was changed.

She possibly goes undercover disguised as a traveler on a mission with Grisha Examiners to the Wandering Isle to find grisha refugees.

Nina gets captured by the druskelle where she meets Matthias for the first time. The ship gets in a storm. The holding cells look different to what was described in the books.

Nina saves Matthias and there is a lot of fights and flirtation between them while they are lost on the ice. Matthias is hesitant to get close to a “witch”.

They are lost for 3 weeks.

While flirting with Matthias, the ice gives way. Nina is not sure Matthias will save her. He does. They then give each other their names.

When they finally make it to shelter Nina finds Kerch traders and accuses Matthias of being a slaver. This lands him in a holding cell. It seems Nina visits him and brings him food. It looks like he is on a ship bound to Hellgate.

She is in the same outfit she visits him in so this could be before or after.

I have so many, but uh.... I have a huge scar on my arm due to a cut I got, and I have chunks of metal in my jaw because I had a surgery when I was 7
