I’m getting to get back into a more “student” like mindset currently after being in the lab and working for most of the summer so far, and as much as I like being able to sit back and take notes again I’m realizing that I don’t have a ton of summer left- oh well we do what we can!

Attending classes in the middle of the night sucks! But graduate level profs expect you to attend in real time mostly, so class from midnight to 5 am it is. Oof.

not having many good days… feeling a little bit lost and unsure about my phd project, so I’m trying to find a way out through books and films. last week I watched tokyo twilight, lost, lost, lost and letter from siberia.

02.01.21 | I’ve given up on trying to maintain a consistent bullet journal. Now I embrace the unbridled chaos of jumping from pocketbook to loosely bound note cards to old printed journal article with notes from 2 different classes. I am a forest fire and I am the fire and I am the forest and I am a witness watching it

oct 21 | The last week of classes is finally here! I feel on top of my reading and exam preparation at the moment so I have spent a fair bit of my weekend reading, going out for dinner with friends and my partner, and going to the cinemas (I saw First Man - it was amazing!). Spending the last stretch of my Sunday reviewing and writing notes for my criminal law and contract law readings.
