asking for help is so hard for me to do especially when it comes to money but im so stuck and anxious about how im going to make it through this month .... because of the corona virus i lost my job :( this job was my only source of income and it helped me feed my dad, who lives off of disability checks. he spends all of his money on the house (which im so lucky to have a roof over my head) but we have so many bills coming up. I filed for unemployement but idek where’s that’s gonna go.

it’s been over two years since we’ve met. i’m so thankful to still have you as a constant in my life that i can count on to look to for advice lol. i love you so so much girlie.

anyways, i figured i’d update you a little on my life now since it’s been two years!!

i graduate nursing school december 19th!! (two weeks away from today as i’m writing this post!!) i’m so excited to finally be done with school & become the nurse i’d always dreamed i’d be... i hope to take care of people in a compassionate way, just as you have been to me over the years.

i’m also excited to tell you i have a nursing job lined up before graduation! i’ll be working in an adult & pediatric urology clinic & i’m SOOO excited! it’s an amazing feeling to have my job lined up as i still have to pass the nursing boards (NCLEX) soon..... that’s my next hurdle.

anyways, i miss you and love you. thank you for releasing lover this year. i’ve been using that album as my go-to relaxer during my hardcore studying for exams and clinicals (cornelia street is my bitch!!). it’s been such a wonderful journey with you the last thirteen years and i can’t wait to see what lies ahead. i’m so proud of the woman you’ve become; it makes me feel empowered as a woman to look up to you.
