Did you plan the Jon Snow thing? Like be honest, was all 30 chapters just leading to Jon Snow? Was it a long game for Jon Snow? Will Lexie become Cersi? Like.... I’m loving it but did you troll us? 😅

Wow, you’ve read the new chapter fast! 

Honestly, I didn’t plan it. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a visual thinker so when I was writing the chapter I’d written the speech first. I couldn’t find any other way of saying winter is coming without thinking of the Starks and the characters would have most likely watched it so their comments and references to it aren’t that much of a reach. Thus I went with it. 

Though, writing this chapter did make me realise how much of a Jon Snow I’d made Grizz. A reluctant leader, forbidden love (at least for a bit) and pitted against numerous players all trying to have their turn on the wheel when all he really wants is a quiet life in another land. I’m basically writing a Game of Thrones AU. Who knows maybe a dragon will pop up?

What’s been the best thing to write?

In the fanfic or in general?

In After my favourite thing has actually been the trial. I know most people have found it boring but swapping between the characters and switching between the trial and the night before has been really interesting for me. If something like this were to happen in the show (give us season 2 pls) I’d hope they did it a bit like that. I think it’d be really interesting. I’ve also enjoyed writing the Gwen and Grizz moments. A complete fantasy on my part but I felt like it’d a friendship that could be realistic. They’re there for each other and Gwen is quite sassy. At least the way I think about them. 

In general, the best thing I’ve ever written was a script I wrote called Black and Gold. My favourite thing about it was two characters called Sarah and Jay. You watch their relationship grow and it’s really sweet. It’s a bit silly and also serious. Sarah adds a wonderful humour to the scenes but also has some heartbreaking moments. Jay is a wonderful counterpart to her. It’s a really great relationship to write about. I’d explain the plot but unfortunately its a series I’ve written and 10 episodes long so it’d take too long. I will say Sarah and Jay aren’t the main focus of the story but still in every episode.

Have you always written stories? Do you want to become a writer?

Um, I wouldn’t say I’ve always written stories. When I was younger I wanted to be a singer or actress. I used to like being the centre of attention and performing for others. however, my need for perfection and fear of failure led me to develop stage fright. I’m fine in the mix of a crowd but the idea of auditions or performing by myself panic me. This is when I turned my focus to writing. I still loved creating stories but instead of acting them out or singing about them, I was creating them. 

I started writing outside of school projects about 12? I think? It was called Nightmare Mum and it was about a mum and her daughter going on holiday and everything just keeps going wrong. From there I started writing more and more. They’re all awful. But each story means something to me. Sometimes I go back to old ideas and develop them a little further. Fantasy is a massive theme through a lot of my work purely because you can make anything happen and just be like magic. I can have a slight dark streak in my work. Throughout high school, the projects always were a little sinister or eerie. I’m quite a bubbly person so people don’t really expect it. 

I’d love to be a writer. I currently have a (I never want to call it this because it’s just my hobby) novel in the works. It’s currently sitting at 90,000 words but I’ve hit a bit of a block, hence why I’m focusing on this fanfic, giving my brain a good rest. I hope one day to share it.

What’s like your writing process? How did you come up with your story idea?

Hi! 

So I’ve mentioned before but I’m quite a visual thinker. Idea’s come to me in the form of pictures or conversations or scenes that play in my head. Due to this, I tend to write scripts as the ideas are things playing out. Writing After has been a challenge because I have a lot of dialogue in my head for each character. What I tend to do is write out the conversation and then add the other bits in afterwards. 

I don’t really plan so I just went with the flow of what I thought would logically happen next. I have/had certain scenes in my head and then connected them. Most of my ideas come to me when I’m listening to music. I cannot have an empty mind when it comes to music. Whenever music plays, a scene will play out, whether to do with this story or some of my own projects. Sometimes the song works for numerous scenes but I’ll play the music and start writing allowing it to help me form a coherent chapter instead of just a single scene.

NEW CHAPTER

Hi. So there are a few things I need to tell you all.

Until about the end of July, I will be working two jobs. The second job is kind of like paid work experience but it means I don't have much free time at the moment. Due to this, the next chapter will take longer to come out. I am really sorry about this. I always wanted to be able to post frequently but unfortunately, life has gotten in the way. I hope that after this month I'll be able to post more frequently but you never know.

However, whilst I won't be able to post frequently, I will be able to answer any questions about ANYTHING. Whether it's writing-related, fan related, or, I dunno, recipe related, I will answer your question. I've had a few people ask me things on here and on AO3 so if you want to ask anything, please feel free! I love interacting with everyone!

One final thing, I have really enjoyed writing this fic. (Don't worry, it's not over yet) I've never done anything like this, most of my writing is my own ideas and tend to be in script form so this has really challenged me. The feedback has been amazing and helpful and I am so grateful to every single person that has taken the time out to read this. So thank you. Thank you for the kudos and the 10,000+ hits! I never expected it and I'm so grateful.

Hi! Sorry! Sorry! I know. I’ve not been posting as frequently. 

So I just got a kinda intern/second job, for the next month so I’m finding it difficult to write. The 30th chapter is coming along, just slowly. I can’t tell you when it’ll be out. I’m hoping before the end of next week. If not, the end of July. After that, I’m hoping I’ll be able to go back to being a bit more frequent but I can’t promise anything. Life is hectic! At least I’m not trapped in some sort of pocket universe. Mind you might make it easier for me to write! 

Sorry again! If you have any questions about stories and stuff, I can answer them! I suggest to tide you over you do what I do when I wait for things like Lore Olympus or Sirens Lament to come out, which is read the memes, fan art and other fanfics.

HI! I’ve been reading your story and I absolutely love it! You’ve woven everyone’s stories together so well! Do you like plan ahead? Have you got a plan? Do you have an ending?

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! 

Um, no... I don’t have a plan. Never have. I literally get an idea and then go LET’S WRITE THAT SCENE. The fic I’ve written literally just came from a scene that played in my head. It was the moment they saw each other in the hospital after Grizz had been away. That’s where everything started. I knew I couldn’t just write that scene without a bit of context so had to write around it and well...now it’s kinda gotten carried away. I’m now writing chapter 30. 

To answer your last question, I don’t have an ending per se... You see, I have an idea in my head right now but that will most likely change. When I was writing chapters 1-5, I never imagined the story where it is now. The things I am writing now, were never my original intention so yes I do have an ending, but it may not be the ending you end up reading. It’s the one problem with not having a plan, you don’t know where you’re going to end up. Mind you, that’s also part of the fun!

I spend the majority of my time having to correct the mix-up.

HI! Question. Is your story the way you see season 2 (if we get it) developing on the society?

Yes and no... 

Obviously, I’d love for it to develop the way my mind has it, I mean who wouldn't! But I also don’t want it too. For starters, I don’t follow the source material completely, there are differences in my story to what actually happened in the series. My version of Lexie is a little bit more competent and not as emotionally rash in situations and therefore she allows certain things to happen that in the show's version she wouldn’t. Also, I’ve completely fabricated a close relationship between Grizz and Gwen that I wish would develop in the show but I do not believe the show would or will do that.  So if it did miraculously follow what I’ve written I’d actually be kind of annoyed at the plot holes and inconsistencies 😂
