Oof I feel that- school seems extra hard this year 🫠 Have you ever talked about how Ava and Danny would get together? I’d love to see a drawing of how their first kiss would happen or something like that

It depends on the context. There’s one version where it takes like, ~10 years, a handful of major character deaths, and both of them being on death’s door for them to kiss lol. That's the one that's most canon to me anyways.

I have other versions where there's little to no stakes involved just so I can have a break from thinking about... ^^^ that. They don't go very far though because them being on the same page about a relationship doesn't suspend my disbelief for long. They're such fickle characters and when I try to force them into a mold I need for a scene, they start to not feel like themselves if that makes sense.

I have a first kiss thing in this post, and an aftermath here. I'll try to do a deep dive into the long ass winded version and see if I can muster up the courage to draw smth.

I would like to hear about the irontiger couple jealousy!!

Firstly, you must know that neither of them are normal about this. Secondly, there isn't any sound logic to this jealousy so it's completely irrational for even one of them to have it, let alone both of them. Alas, that is the nature of the beast.

Actually-

Danny doesn't get jealous as much as he gets possessive. Like, (Ava would be out of her mind to entertain available suitors while committed to Danny) ((also see: magic powers in bed)) Danny knows she's not interested in anyone else. But Ava's a hot piece of meat so it's not uncommon for her to receive advances. I believe in public, Danny is handsy (but in a normal way) so he cranks it up to challenge the opposing party.

Ava's jealousy is actually just veiled projection; a surprise to no one. She knows Danny isn't looking at anyone else because he only feels that way about her. He knows she knows this. So when she pulls the 'why did you smile at the waitress' shtick, he knows Ava is upset about something else.

I agree, I think Danny's jealousy is v quiet, especially when they're in the crush/pre relationship stage because he knows he has no reason to be upset abt it lol. He probably looks somewhat normal on the outside—maybe a little spacey—but on the inside it's like fire, fire storms, explosions, acid rain, nuclear fallout, etc.

I imagine Ava's jealousy only showing if/when someone hits on Danny lol. She would probably be his white knight getting him out of the interaction but with a 'you're not good enough for him' undertone to it.
