Bakusquad Headcanons

When playing rock paper scissors, Kirishima always chooses rock. He doesn’t understand why he always loses the game.

The rest of the squad has chosen not to explain it because it’s hilarious. And it means they have an advantage when it comes to tie-breakers.

Bakugo, though he’d never admit it, is a sucker for physical interaction. Occasionally someone will lean against him or put their arm on his shoulder and he’ll complain loudly about it but won’t push them away, at least when it comes to those in the squad. 

Kirishima will straight-up drape across Bakugo’s lap or rest his head on his shoulder. Bakugo will glare at him and grumble under his breath, and Kirishima will just grin at him.

The squad will often have movie nights which end in them all sleeping in a pile.

Bakugo and Kaminari are both very competitive, and game nights often end in them yelling threats and insults to each other. (”If you throw that blue shell I will blow you to fucking smithereens.” and “BAKUGO YOU BOOMER!” as some examples)

Kaminari isn’t great at insults, but he tries.

Mina makes a lot of innuendos about Sero and Kaminari, which usually result in them both blinking in confusion and asking her what she means. She usually just giggles and walks off.

Sero and Kaminari will both look at each other and try to figure out what she was talking about. They never do.

Mina does the same to Kirishima and Bakugo, which usually results in an oblivious Kirishima looking at her in complete confusion and Bakugo threatening to blow her face off. 

Kirishima will ask Bakugo what Mina meant and Bakugo will scowl and tell him not to worry about it.

Sometimes Kaminari will cuddle up to Sero, and Sero will get flustered. Kaminari doesn’t seem to notice. Mina will make eye contact with Sero and snicker when this happens.

The squad often goes and hangs out in public (Bakugo will pretend to be opposed to this) and all sorts of shenanigans ensues. 

They all eat out together on Saturdays.

One time they went to a buffet and Kirishima and Mina both tried to try everything, which ended in them both having huge stomach aches. Mina laid face-down on the floor and groaned dramatically.

Though Bakugo pretends not to care about any of them, he’s grown very protective over them.

One time Mineta tried to sneak into the locker room to peak at Mina while she was changing, since she was running late and was the only one in there, but Bakugo caught him in the act and was absolutely livid. Kirishima had to physically stop him from hurting Mineta (Although he had a few choice words for Mineta himself.)

Bakugo, a little embarrassed, refused to tell Mina why he was so pissed at Mineta, but Mina heard him screaming and knew exactly what happened. She pretended not to, just to save his pride.

Sero and Kaminari are both very dramatic about everything. One time they heard that the local McDonalds was closed for a couple weeks due to a villain attack and they about threw a fit, even though they don’t ever eat at McDonalds.

Kirishima sometimes joins in on their drama.

Mina is the gossip queen, but she’ll only gossip to people she knows won’t turn it into anything hurtful against anybody.

Despite her love for gossip, she’s great at keeping secrets and the squad often comes to her for advice because they know she won’t judge them or tell anybody about their troubles.

Bakugo: Played baseball with a skateboared and lit fireworks.

Midoriya: Got bored and punched a pillow, not realizing the feathers were all on one side, so he just punched the bedpost and broke his hand.

Uraraka: Started crying trying to order a glass of water because she “thought they were gonna say no”

Mina: Knocked over a shelf in goodwill wearing the highest stiletto heels in the store.

Sero: Blacked out the middle of his teeth to make it look like he had a big tooth gap for senior pictures.

Todoroki: Was hit in the leg with a throwing knife, just looked at the wound and said “Hot”

Shinso: Was tired in music class and crawled in the double bass case after attendance was taken and took a nap.

Kaminari: Crawled in the school ceiling.

Tokoyami: Brought a dead copperhead snake they found on the side of the road into class and the teacher called the police.

Koda: Brought a live snake into a movie theater to watch detective pikachu so he could “see his friends”

Aizawa: Brought a can of cat food into a theater for Cats 2019 and opened it mid movie, holding it up and making the “Pspspspspsps” noise at the screen.

Kirishima: Bought his friend a watermelon for his birthday and brought it into school, opening it at lunch with the help of a security guard with a pocket knife.

Jirou: Waited for the teacher to leave the room, then ran to her computer and played despacito as loud as possible.

Shinso again: Got in trouble in elementary school for telling a kid to pee on a door, and the kid actually did it.

Kaminari again: Broke his phone by saying “bet it won’t break” then throwing it.

Tsu: Jumped into a fountain for two dollars.

Tamaki: Grabbed a raw egg, said, and I quote, “crunchy!” Then fucking ATE it.

Sero again: Got banned from all Walmarts for two years.

Todoroki again: Fell in a goddamn frozen lake.

Bakugo again: Got into a fistfight with a third grader and LOST.
