- “Are you happy” is such a difficult question. I always say yes because I have friends and I laugh at jokes. I go out a lot and have fun. My life isn’t as bad as it could be, and I don’t have terrible problems. It could be worse. But then one night when I’m alone awake at 3AM. Lying in bed. Thinking about life. I find myself crying my heart out. Suddenly I’m convinced that nobody likes me, or nobody will ever like me. I feel horrible and question everything I had. I don’t know if I was ever happy at all. -

Sometimes missing you hits me so hard, all of the sudden, like a comet falling and obliterating my heart. Dust covers all, eternal night follows; this aching impossibly deepening, tracing grooves of deep wanting that only your presence can fill like a riverbed parched for rain. Tonight a burning fire in the forest and ashes fly into the moonlight.
