This includes mine! If we can move on from people in real life, we can also do it in the digital world. Consider the following:⁣ ⁣ It’s OK to unfollow people on social media; including those you looked up to. We can outgrow accounts, as we outgrow people. Sometimes, our beliefs, ideas and vision for the future no longer align with others – and that’s perfectly OK.⁣ ⁣ If someone’s posts and thoughts consistently trigger you and make you feel uneasy, hitting unfollow is an act of self-love. Your mental wellbeing matters.⁣ ⁣ If you’re too busy getting triggered, you won’t have adequate time and energy to discover why. You need unhindered space to question, reflect and rewrite old and unhelpful patterns.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes, we become “brainwashed” by the content we regularly consume. The reason you may feel sad is because you have inherited disempowering patterns from others without consciously realizing. Even some “spiritual” content can do this – it can create a subtle annoyance. A good indicator of spiritual expansion is that your vibration rises as a result of your general state of being.⁣ ⁣ Suppose you use anonymous/secret accounts to keep an eye on people you dislike, or to target them when the opportunity arises. In that case, you’re literally waiting to be triggered or to display hate. Embracing energy that is not helpful or constructive will keep you in a web of negativity.⁣ ⁣ If someone’s lack of action is troubling you, then you may well want to unfollow them. When energy isn’t reciprocated in real life, we tend to do the same. So, if you unfollow someone who never engages with you or makes an effort, you should not feel guilty. Too many times, we stick around in people’s lives for the sake of it – because we don’t want to disappoint them. But how often has that led us to neglect our own needs?⁣ ⁣ Ultimately, you want to grow to a place where the actions of others have little impact on your emotional state and wellbeing. Nevertheless, boundaries and space will always prove critical in one’s evolutionary journey. REALITY Some people are pretty intelligent. They will keep hold of you without being fully invested in you, for as long as you can meet their physical, mental or spiritual needs.⁣ ⁣ They will give you some hope that something special is there and you will hang on to it, believing that someday, they will be entirely devoted to you. They might respect you to an extent, but they aren’t sure about you. They have curiosities which make them wander away from you at times. As a result, you receive inconsistent efforts.⁣ ⁣ On your good days with them, things are great. They make you feel special, wanted and important to them. When they are feeling low, the need for you increases. They know you will be there for them and support them during the darkness. But, this still isn’t enough to be committed to you. When they’re back on a high, they will now leave you feeling low – as their need for you decreases again.⁣ ⁣ You will then go through the cycle again. Each time, you will fall deeper, while they buy time to keep you around without being fully committed to you. This will make it harder for you to escape, and it will keep you in their sight. They might even tell you to leave, knowing you won’t because it’ll be too hard for you. You’ve become a loyal customer of their potential.⁣ ⁣ I admire these believers. They believe in people who merely want to serve themselves. Not because they are naïve, but because they have a heart big enough to accommodate them. However, please pay attention to your instincts and remember, patterns speak volumes about someone’s true feelings towards you. You can’t create forever with someone who treats you like you’re temporary. Effort reflects interest.⁣ ⁣ When individuals aren’t committed, you have to be brave enough to walk away, knowing that you deserve better. Cut ties so you can make space for new energy to enter. The longer you stay, the more unhealthy things will become and the harder it will be to break free from the illusion of their potential. These relationships can severely affect our mental and physical health.⁣ ⁣ “Words of affirmation” can be a primary love language, but not the only. Some areas of your body may be very tight, meaning that the muscles feel short and restricted. Some areas of your body may feel very loose and you may be able to lengthen and move those muscles freely.​ For example, you might be very flexible in the hamstrings, allowing you to bend over and touch your toes. But your thighs (quadriceps) muscles might be tight (inflexible) so it may be harder for you to stand up straight or bend backward. Many people who work in an office all day develop inflexible hips as a result of sitting all day. This is one of the reasons that health experts recommend that you stand up and move for a few minutes every hour. TYPES : There are different types of stretching to improve flexibility. Static Stretching: You move into a position that lengthens a target muscle and hold the position for 15-60 seconds. It's best to remember to breathe as you hold each stretch. Dynamic Stretching: You move in and out of a position that lengthens a target muscle. Dynamic stretches often involve a gentle bouncing movement and are sometimes called ballistic stretches. Active Isolated Stretching (AIS): You move your joint through a complete range of motion, holding the endpoint only briefly, then return to the starting point and repeat. Many athletes and active exercisers use active isolated stretching to prevent injuries or muscle imbalance. BENEFITS : Many benefits. "Today's topic about hope and reality " “Every Day not your Everyday.” ⁣ According to a study in the U.S. News & World Report, an average of 80% of New Year’s Resolutions FAIL within 21 days of the new year! Part of this reason is that our brains HATE discomfort, and change (especially the abrupt changes most people make for their resolutions) is ALWAYS uncomfortable! But the other reason is that we look at the New Year as a new start, a new race, a reminder that most of us “ran out of time” to do the things we wanted to accomplish before the ball dropped and we reset our internal clocks to begin a new countdown. ⁣ ⁣ What we need to realize is that year by year, life is not a race, it’s a marathon, and while there is a lot we can look back on and be grateful for and few accomplished about within the past year, we do not need to reset our “personal best” clocks! True greatness is achieved over time, and comes from the discipline of striving every single day to be better than we were the day before. ⁣ ⁣ Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 are two normal days, just like any other two in the calendar year! Take the time to take note of your growth, achievements, setbacks, mistakes and lessons learned over the past year, but do not let that fool you into thinking that tomorrow is any different from any other morning!
