Hey Charlie!

Yeeeeeeaaaaahhh I saw it in passing and I KNOW people come here having hope and such, but I'll be brutally honest... I don't think it's going to happen, at least not for a LONG time. After S4, both Ben and Martin seemed done with Sherlock AND both have VERY busy schedules with both individual and Marvel projects, so yeah. I dunno. At this point though, I think it would be wise to either retcon S4, make it retirement, or just leave it alone.

But I feel like the odd duck out here and will probably have all of y'all hate me, but... I really don't think they SHOULD continue on, just leave well enough alone. S4 ended without a cliffhanger and I reallly do think it's because Mofftiss got bored of the series and just... didn't want to leave it hanging (even though S4 brought on so many more plotholes).

I've talked about my thoughts on a new season here. But a movie and acting like S4 wasn't the shitshow it was? Yikes. And yeah I was confused about the movie quote too, but I think they meant like a modern-movie-length, which is about 2 to 3 hours nowadays. And if that happens, I'd be happy if they corrected S4. But wishful thinking.

Again, I think well enough should be left alone.

Sorry, Charlie, if that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I don't want to give people false hopes. I'd LOVE for Johnlock to happen but yeah at this rate, I don't think BBC Sherlock WILL be Johnlock.

But I'll be happy to be proven wrong. For now, I'm quite content having fandom.

Ahhhhhhh I did actually, very vaguely... Now, you have to remember I'm old and a child of the 80s, and I DISTINCTLY remember a LOT of my song obsession was with Canadian children's entertainers Sharon, Lois and Bram. Skinnamarink, One Elephant, Deux Elephants, and I Am Slowly Going Crazy (this one usually pops up in my head at work LOL) are the songs SEARED into my brain, like I will just randomly remember them and it's stuck in my head for hours. You have NO IDEA how insanely popular they were in Canada in the 80s. Them, Mr Dressup, and Polka Dot Door were the songs of my childhood.

Any yeah, I loved Achy Breaky Heart, but I was a teenager by the time that came out, LOL.

ALSO, every time I make noodles, the theme song to Zoobillee Zoo just comes into my brain and changes "Zoobillee Zoo" to "Noodly-Noods". I don't know why, I can't make it stop.

My childhood was filled with amazing children's programming on TVO and PBS, so naturally a lot of my song memories are just the snippets I remember from that LOL.

Did your school, especially high school or whatever you had before college/university, rank the students? Did you know your ranking? Do you agree with the student who ended up at number 1?

Sadly it's been years since high school but I can remember all of it, probably only because they screwed me over and I do not know how to let things go. I was number 5 in the school, talked to my counselor about having afternoons off for my senior year since I had completed the required courses and also some college exchange courses and they assured me it would not affect my rank. I dropped to 7 and when I confronted them they told me of course it would affect it since I would have no grades to be submitted for the afternoons. Then our number 1 student was a girl I had in multiple classes who averaged Cs at best and frequently asked the dumbest questions imaginable such as why are the villagers wanting the dragon killed in Beowulf when we had just read about it destroying the villages. So I was very very angry about her getting ranked as number 1 because I know for a fact her grades were not good enough but she was very beloved by the teachers.

Oh gosh, I genuinely don't remember much about my high-school years... they were too traumatic for me and I just.... have a mental block on large chunks of it. All I do remember is that there were honour students, but you had to be in the top like 1% to be on the honour roll, and I never was. But other than that, I've never heard of a "ranking" system in school. Is that a common thing? I dunno, I was in high school over 20 years ago so maybe things have changed LOL.

UGH favoritism, on the other hand, did exist and I was never the favourite. Teachers didn't like me much, and I was even accused often of tracing my art projects (fuck that teacher, honestly) and I nearly failed my various math classes because I couldn't attend many of them when my dad was sick. Bleh. Whatever, I hated school, I was so glad to leave.

College were the best years of my education life, and I actually miss THOSE days more than any schooling.

Are you completely against the idea of Sherlock having a relationship with John? If so, what are your reasons?

Of course we’re not against it. But as we have explained many times, that’s not the story that we want to tell. Obviously as a gay man myself, I have no problem with the notion that a Sherlock Holmes and a Doctor Watson could be in a relationship together, but ours aren’t. It’s as simple as that. Sherlock is clearly capable of feeling emotion and of falling for someone, but that someone is not John Watson, despite his love and great affection for him.

I don't know if you've received a rec request like this before, but I was wondering if you know of any fics where Sherlock is oblivious to his good looks or actively in denial about them. I read one once where he was the ugly duckling and didn't realize how handsome he was and John was dumbstruck and committed to convincing Sherlock he is handsome. I guess I'm looking for that low-self-esteem-but-John-makes-him-feel-handsome kind of vibe lol Thanks for any and all help you can provide!

Rel., Lip Gloss, Lingerie, Birthday Presents, Insecure Sherlock) – Sherlock feels a blush rising to touch his cheeks, more sensual than uncomfortable now that he knows John isn't disgusted by him. No, John is responding exactly the way he had hoped.

hi!! thank you for all the recs!!! this might be a long shot but could you maybe help me find a fic? all i remember for sure about it was the central case: a serial killer was using a modified oxygen mask to drown widows on dry land. a tarp was placed underneath the victims to make cleaning up water spills easy and the victim that tipped sherlock off to the mystery had an elastic abrasion on her face from the mask. thats all i remember but its bugging me so bad that i cant find the fic!!! thank you for any help you or your followers can give me, have a good day <333

Any yeah, I loved Achy Breaky Heart, but I was a teenager by the time that came out, LOL.

ALSO, every time I make noodles, the theme song to Zoobillee Zoo just comes into my brain and changes "Zoobillee Zoo" to "Noodly-Noods". I don't know why, I can't make it stop.

My childhood was filled with amazing children's programming on TVO and PBS, so naturally a lot of my song memories are just the snippets I remember from that LOL.
