He just about has a heart attack (he’s too young for such a drastic medical event, he’s barely reached his 20′s) and has to resist the urge to scream in kind, as he is caught off guard by Miya’s perfect ninja-esque approach. He hadn’t even heard a creak from the old floorboards.
‘ You know, there are other ways of saying hello, right? ’
He says as he gives her a light shove, avoiding eye contact and hoping she didn’t see the fear slowly disappear from his expression.

Miya pauses the second the Noah begins to close the distance, bright blue eyes connecting with opposing molten gold, watching, waiting. Plush lips part slightly, traces of the whipped cream on their surface, surprised by the ever gentle way he touches her cheek, yet fully aware of his attempt at removing the fork from her grasp.
Before he has a chance to blink, left hand reaches forth and seizes his right forearm, slamming his arm down on the table. Her grip on the fork shifts and, without breaking eye contact, the prongs are lodged violently into the wooden surface between crafty fingers. His other hand is left alone, still touching the smooth skin of her cheek.
A sweet smile with an underlying warning graces her lips, eyes flashing. ❛ Must I repeat myself, Campbell? ❜
Alright woman, play hard to get.
The smirk that was loosely curling around his lips fell just slightly, but just for a moment when he realized there was something far more enticing to him than the delectable cake that lay before him.
