Super Princess Peach 2 electric boogaloo
What a surprise, and here I thought Peach was a one and done deal but nope, she got a sequel to her game on the 3ds, the problem is it is a Japanese exclusive game. Developed again by Tose and published by Nintendo and released in 2017, I only found out about it by finding a copy in a local swap meet (the power of swap meets ladies and gentlemen). What caught my eye was the back of the box which after translating it says that Peach and other princesses are playable and yeah the box doesn't lie. The other playable princesses are Daisy, Rosalina, Shroob (weird), a Bowsette-like princess but with red hair and tan like skin, Queen Merelda and Princess Shokora (from Wario Land 4), with a secret playable character being Pauline. So let us see if this sequel is worth releasing outside of Japan or should it stay there like Captain Rainbow.
PLOT (no spoilers)   As Mario and Luigi are off to battle against Bowser when suddenly a new baddie comes out of nowhere named Captain Command who takes over Peach's castle and has her take far away from her kingdom. As Peach wakes up in a strange land she then has to go on an odyssey to get back and overthrow the usurper from the Mushroom Kingdom and take back the throne. Along said adventure, you pass by other familiar kingdoms and pass by a few familiar places and faces such as the ones mentioned in the first segment, the reason is Cap. Command took over these kingdoms on his way to become the king of the world.
GAMEPLAY   It is the same for Peach as the previous game the only differences are the genre,  which is a sort of goofy beat 'em up combined with platforming elements, and how the heart works. For one thing, they cost jewels (about 2 jewels) and it is for everyone (I'll explain in a bit) and it only lasts for a few seconds so you can't spam the move since there is a limit on how many jewels you have (which can be upgraded, same with health, in the store to have more but not enough to cheese the game). There is also a playing difference with the other characters from the intro. (Note that Peach is the standard character) There is Daisy, who is a bit faster and a bit stronger than Peach but jumps the same height as her. Then there is Rosalina, who is slower and not as strong as Peach but can jump higher than Peach and can summon a Luma to attack more. Next up, Princess Shroob who is more effective in ranger attacks but sucks at close combat. Coming up is the surprise of Princess Zilla (the Bowsette-like girl) who attacks multiple enemies with her attacks and is decent in single combat. The other one is Princess Shokora, who can transform into a cat, a few weird beasts and Mr.Game&Watch (who I guess is Mrs.Game&Watch but whatever) which can cause some status effects similar to the Wario Land games (ie balloon, get set on fire, etc). Coming up is Queen Merelda who when finishing an attack will drop more coins at the of an attack but is a risk and reward character for being a bit frailer. Finally, there is Pauline who is a bit of a mixed bag, a sort of mid-range close quarters fighter (possibly because of living in the Bronx).
Now, remember the hearts I mentioned, yeah they are completely different. For starters, the orange heart gives you a floaty jump, the red heart makes you stronger, blue heart makes you faster and the green heart gives you more defense, each one lasting about 5 to 7 seconds and costs 2 jewels (you start off with 6 jewels but can upgrade it to 16 jewels) and you can pick up jewels from defeated enemies which can sometimes drop mushrooms at time (the 3 are the normal mushroom which gives you health, the mini mushroom which makes you lose some defense and strength but can jump higher, become faster and find secrets, and the mega mushroom which makes you bigger which can also break certain areas to unlock secrets, stronger and better defense but become slower), the other items are stars, which gives you invincibility, a purple New Donk Coin (which if every coin is collected unlocks New Donk city to unlock Pauline: Note that there is 1 purple coin in all  levels excluding the bosses), and finally Toad, yes Toad, who works as he does in smash where you get a free pass on recieving damage and thus counters the enemy who attacked you.
Likes The beat-em-up aspects of the game are rather addicting, it is fun to combo an enemy and how the combo animations are very goofy yet "ladylike" for a Nintendo Princess, there are also a few mini games (like the previous one) that are ok, but they do help you earn a few figurines and different costumes for each character, and I like the little descriptions  for each character explaining their first appearance.
Dislikes Sometimes the secret areas to get the purple coins is too vague, there are hints but they don't explain it too well, not to mention once you get all the upgrades and figures they still give you a lot of money at the end of a stage but nothing to spend it on, and online play is very very laggy, it's best to play it locally if you can find anyone to play it that is. Also getting a high rank is incredibly hard since the game is very strict on what you did well and gets very stingy with damage taken and time left over, I mostly got C's and B's and the only time I got an AA rank (which isn't the highest rank its Crown) was the first level.
Verdict So is this game worth forking over 40 bucks plus shipping and handling I would say Yes, but... The game is rather fun, hell there is future DLC planned to include a few Zelda princesses like Zelda (duh), Toon Zelda (ok), Ruto, and that one princess from Triforce of Heroes, so anyone in Japanse who bought it must think so but jeez does this game expect perfection to get any higher ranks and I wish there were other ways to use the money you collected but considering how fun it is, I still say it is worth it but If your one to complete games, well good luck with that. Thanks for reading.

Yo kai watch 3, welcome to america
Ahoy, long time no read I guess. Took me a while to play a few games but I was able to finish one, that one (of course) being Yokai watch 3. Developed by Level-5 and published by Nintendo with the series starting off in Japan in 7/11/13 becoming a big hit and producing 3 other games all on 3ds and a few spin-offs, manga and an anime (one of the few that I can sort of watch, I'm not a big anime fan) with the first one released here in the US in 11/6/15 and after a few years later Yokai watch 3 is released in the US 2/8/19 (just somewhat recently). So is Yokai watch 3 worth picking (chronologically no you should play the first one but you get what I mean) well let's get started.
PLOT (no spoilers) One day Nate is with his family and his yokai pals, Whisper and Jibanyan, having a meal when Nate's dad breaks the news that they are moving to BBQ (basically the USA) as Nate later makes friends with a resident names Buck and thus go on a few adventures to find aliens. Meanwhile, back in Springdale Hailey, the new girl protagonist who is an anime lover and kpop fan (more specifically Sailor Moon and some Korean pop rip off) and ends up getting the yokai watch by a new faced yokai Usapyon and both start a detective agency after helping out a sad rocket scientist with both stories clashing with each other by story links.
Gameplay Let's cut to the chase (and stick to the ones that matter), you move with the circle pad interact and with A, run by holding down the b button with the cost of stamina (whoopee -kill me), search locations when your watch turn purple on the top right corner with later compartments as you play the game, those being a drill and a vacuum which both can be changed to do specific things (like for the vacuum having a better change collecting bugs or medal and for the drill making it possible to break through ice or metal blocks) depending on which medals you use,
There is also the d-pad, pushing the top part causes the watch to tell what time it is in-game, turning it to the yokai watch or just get rid of it, the watch can also be upgraded. You start with an E rank but as the game continues you can upgrade it to an S rank which effects how tough the enemy you might encounter in dungeons and in certain locations. Then their is pressing down which activates your bike, but cannot be used in buildings, stairs, and dungeons. Finally, there is pressing left activates the portable mirapo but you need to do a side quest to get this but mark my words it is worth it.
But who cares about all that, let's get to how battles work. Well, for starters you can arrange how your yokai are positioned. If you yokai are next to each other then in battle you will perform combos, if you stick a yokai behind another one then that yokai will be immune to most attacks (I say most since there are some attack that can damage all) there are also two options before starting a battle, those being start battle (obviously) and preparation which gives you a chance to set up your yokai, heal them or fill their soulmeter which in battle can activate their super attack hitting specific areas, healing your team, or inspirit your enemies, where inspirits can cause status effects such as slowing a yokai's speed, decreasing their defense or attack, or increase their speed, attack etc,(purple being bad and yellow being good) and if you get inspirited you can clear the status effect by clicking on purify and playing a quick minigame to earn a clean yokai and some exp to level up. The final 3 are targets, which can pin on a yokai you want to attack specifically and can tell you what is their favorite food, what they are weak to or if you already befriended them. Next is the blaster which once used will cause a roulette to whether you cause damage or a better chance to befriend yokai (note it is only attacking with boss yokai) and finally items which lets you access the foods and medicine you have bought or found on the floor of a bathroom or car. These foods can be thrown at the enemy by pressing y but if you want it thrown at a specific enemy, target then throw, which can improve your chances of befriending them after a battle.
Finally, there are the yokai, obviously, in which each yokai are part of a tribe and if 3 of a yokai of the same tribe are on your team you get a boost such as charming gives you a boost in speed or brave makes you slightly stronger. You can give your yokai equipment and increase their attack, technique (such as fire, ice etc) and soultimate making them stronger. Cripes, thank goodness that's over. There is more but they are minor to the main game.
Pros The game is brimming with character and charisma in the main story and side quests, also the side game blasters T is rather fun and can be used to level up yokai and grab some items which can be used in the main game with its own mini story. There is also the dream wheel and crank-a-kai which can be used to try to nab high ranking yokai or gear and items (even if Blasters T makes it pointless) and a great way to make a mini gamble with yourself (I might need help). I also prefer how you make yokai appear when you search for them in certain places that light up from the radar where you just need to shoot them with some sort of energy ball and depletes their invisibility meter until they are revealed to fight them, wherein the previous game you had to move your watch in front of them but made it difficult because the enemy is always moving (unless they have a brain fart and get stuck) and you have to wait until the meter is full but if you lose them the meter depletes. Finally, I enjoy the references from other types of media like "The X Files", "What's your name", "ET" and a few more, oh, and the music is really good, I'm not one to talk about music that often but if feel like this one is worth mentioning.
Cons Besides Blasters T, the after game content is rather lacking, and once you finish all the side quests then there is nothing else to do, and some of the yokai designs are just reskinned which is very obvious when you see some of the rare yokais needed to unlock some legendary yokai. This last one isn't on the game but finding a copy, seriously it was difficult to look for one in a Gamestop or Bestbuy and my usual locations were no use either so if you are interested, use Amazon.
Highlights One time I was just minding my own business and returned to the neighborhood my house was in when I think a yokai was messing with my game, because everything but the street and NPCs were nothing but textureless blobs, the trees, cars, building, even the electric poles and fire hydrants were just polygons and from time to time they flickered green and red, For those who might have played the game, you must know about Sighborg Y a rather difficult yokai to find, well not in my playthrough where I somehow got him on my first try, I was surprised since my luck with this game is as good as ET for the Atari 2600
Verdict So, after finally finishing a review after finally getting my lazy ass to finish it, is the game worth looking a copy for... Absolutely This game is fun from beginning to end and is unique enough to stand on its own. It is just a shame that this series gets compared to pokemon and apparently is not doing so hotly here in the states, which is a shame since I feel like this game should get some more love, especially with the effort put in. Who knows maybe this review might do something, but it's unlikely, still, I'm glad there is a fourth game coming and it looks good, aside from the phallic slimamander, Hopes this series gets much love, thanks for reading.

Fitness Punch Punch Wahey
Yes, I'm reviewing Fitness Boxing. Why? Because I still need time to beat another game and I have been playing this since I got it for my birthday because I am not in any way fit and the other games (Bendy & the ink machine and another future review) were not available until they came in at Gamestop a few weeks later. So let us get this review on and see if Fitness Boxing is a good (and maybe cheap) way to exercise at home.
PLOT (There is none so I'll just make it up) You are a regular guy who wakes up in a computer program and is thus met with a Fitness program with a human-like appearance that can change into other people and even change its eye, skin, and hair color, even its clothes. They are programmed to only think about exercise via boxing and so you, out of desperation of not going insane, you start doing daily exercises. It was after what felt like days you realize you are trapped in the program and are unable to escape and so you are trapped until you die working out to songs by various artists like Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, etc only being rewarded with clothes and accessories to customize the program.
GAMEPLAY It is simple as drawing a line, you use the joy-cons' motion controls to throw punches(hooks, uppercuts, and punches) and with you needing to stand in a certain position and maybe move front, back, left right, ducking (down, left, right) and countering with your arms. It is a sort of rhythm game but with exercise.
LIKES The music chosen for the game is rather catchy and fun, and I will admit that if you are dedicated to exercising every day and healthy choices you can definitely shed a few pounds. Also for 60 bucks, it is not that bad since you can exercise as much as you want (just don't take it to far please). Also, the game adjusts how much exercise you need when you punch in your BMI and preference on what body parts to work on.
DISLIKES Ok, this is more of a rant but, *ahem* THOSE F****CKING JOY-CONS. I SWEAR THEY HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN, SOMETIMES I THROW A PUNCH AND IT DOES NOT REGISTER AND I END UP MISSING  A PUCH. AND THOSE F***NG WALK FORWARDS AND BACKS ARE BAD TO. BUT THE WORST, THE ABSOLUTE WORST IS THE BLUE LEFT JOY-CON, THAT F***KING BLUE JOY-CON. THE CONTROL STICK MOVES ON ITS OWN, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I RECALIBRATE IT, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRY TO CLEAN IT (because according to Nintendo it's just dust which is a crock of crap) IT STILL MOVES MY CHARACTER TO THE LEFT, WHICH IS A HUGE PROBLEM WHEN THERE IS PLAYFORMING AND MOVING INVOLVED. *huff*... also the framerate dips but that is not a problem for me really. That's it on dislike and nitpicks.
VERDICT So, is Fitness Boxing worth punching to the beat to (I'll be it) a small song pool? Yes, but... This is a rather good way to exercise (in my opinion anyway) and doesn't really ask much of your time besides maybe the number of minutes you set up in it. But I feel like the joy-cons can ruin the experience since, at times, it does not register a punch at times which can be annoying. But if Nintendo ever releases better joy-cons then this game will still be a yes but..., Thanks for reading.

Slendy Bendy in The Ink Machine
This is a rather unique review since I do have a personal thing with this game developed by TheMeatly, Kindly Beasts, Joey Drew Studios, and published by Rooster Teeth. If you have checked my crappy art out, you would see that I have grown an interest in rubber hose animation, and it was thanks to this and Cuphead that I grew an interest in the art style, the thing is, I never played it until a few days ago, and like most people, found out about it thanks to people like DAGames, Markiplier, etc, and when it was announced for the Nintendo switch I waded in the pool until I finally decided to buy it along with Travis Strikes Again. So, after finally playing it, was it worth it, well let's start this review then.
PLOT (No Spoilers) You play as Henry Mylastnameisnotimportantuntiltheendofthegame entering Joey Drew Studios out of a request of an old friend Joey Drew who sent him a letter asking him to return to his old ball and chain job to show him a surprise. After snooping around he finds and turns on the ink machine releasing the dreaded ink demon Bendy. Henry tries to run away but you fall through the fall and now you have to make your way back to the top and escape the old rundown studio.
GAMEPLAY There is not much to talk about, you jump with the B button, interact with objects with the Y button and run by holding down the L button. There is also combat where you attack with the back right trigger button and later in the game you get a special machine that lets you see special white messages you can't see with the naked eye (draw your own conclusions) by pressing the left trigger button.
LIKES The art style is rather pretty and unique, another point for having a really good unsettling feeling for every room you go to and I enjoyed that you needed to be sneaky to pass by enemies when you are defenseless which adds to the unsettling feeling of weakness and feeling powerless of the situation.
DISLIKES While the run button is useful, it is not very useful when you want to run when you try to run at an angle, you can only run when the camera is facing forward. Yes, this is probably used to be somewhat realistic but it would have helped in certain parts of the game when I needed to run to the side but walked at a slow pace and thus, was smacked like a gang member who got caught squealing by his "mates". Another problem I had was with chapter 3, (not going to spoil anything, I'm a man of my word), which was mostly just choirs the game and in chapter 4 where you needed to shoot a BB gun at targets but the reticle was practically invisible against the yellow background and throwing items were very clunky and frustrating when it was necessary to continue the game. Also, the game is rather short and the ending left me rather disappointed, not confused just disappointed that all this build up was a sort of left for interpretation, I just prefer that games have a bit of closure rather than just say maybe it was all a dream or WAS IT ooooooooooOOOOOoooooooo.
HIGHLIGHTS (when something interesting or just plain stupid happens) There was one part where there was a creature that followed you at a certain level in Chapter 3 and so with a pipe in hand and stopped by the first 3 steps of the stairs with the monster still trying to get me on the side of the stairs so I just kept hitting the monster until it died, I had to pause to process what happened and continued to do my choirs. Another AI muck up happens in Chapter 5 where 2 enemies were trying to get through a door that was closed yet every time I go near them they chase me until I hide and then they go back to the door for the majority of the time I was in the area until they  finally got away for me to open it.
FINAL VERDICT So, is Bendy and the Ink Machine worth adding to your artistic gaming collection Yes, but... The game is a rather unique horror game that has an amazing art style, yet a major problem I have is that it was rather short, I beat it in almost 2 days from the time I picked it up around 8 to about 12 in the afternoon the next day. I will give credit that for the first major game from Kindly Beasts, Joey Drew Studios and TheMeatly it is impressive and I feel worth checking out just to support them but be aware that it is short but you get what you pay for. Thanks for reading.

Super Princess Peach, Your Mario is in another castle
Yeah, the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom who was only playable in some games (Mario Bros 2, Smash and 3d World) got her own game in 2005 on the Nintendo DS. Developed by Tose (apparently they made the Starfy series) and published by Nintendo and just like Starfy, I never heard of it until years later.  Probably because it was not advertised very well,(assuming this) since I only found 2 trailers, one from Japan and one in English, and they are just as weird on their own terms. (here are the links) english: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Bhb6wXYSOY
Japan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoPB-ONk3hw
Hell, I only found about it by finding a copy in Best Buy but bought it in The Friki Plaza (a large video game, food, clothes and tech plaza in TJ) years later.  Either way, I was down with it I like Peach (prefer Daisy but preferences aside) so let's review the game (well I'm reviewing the game you're just skimming this but either way let's begin).
PLOT (no spoilers) So the story begins by showing Bowser has built a villa on an island called Vib Island in search of the Vib scepter (also known as the Magical Dildo). Once found Bowser sends his army to Peach's Castle and captures a few Toads, Luigi, and Mario who are locked up in cells in different locations in Pleasure Island. Once Peach returns she decides to go and rescue everyone, not before her steward Toadsworth gives her an Umbrella that is alive named Perry who's backstory is revealed once you beat a world and shown a dream of his previous life before umbrella-fication.
GAMEPLAY It's mostly simple, you jump with the A button and holding it down will keep her afloat with Perry, attack with the B button pick things up with the umbrella with the X button to either hold it up to toss in the air, press down to vore it (no really), or carry it with you and you can hold the right or left trigger to walk slowly which is used on sleeping enemies and floors that crumble easily. The selling point of the game is that you can give Peach mood whiplashes with the bottom screen by pressing specific colored hearts. The orange heart makes Peach so happy she creates a small cyclone harming any enemy she touches and if you press the jump button she starts to fly up in the sky and to descend you let it go. Press the red heart and Peach remembers that one time Mario flaked on her and gets so pissed she gets set on fire and becomes really heavy that her jumps become earthquakes when she hits the ground knocking enemies off their feet and leaving them vulnerable to get burned by her flaming aura. The blue heart makes her watch this scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9sAB4JFh4Q (spoilers for The Champ) and she becomes so sad that she bursts out crying making her run faster and get past the blue floors and gushes out streams of tears that can water flowers to make them grow. And finally the green heart, the green heart breaks the game as it heals Peach in a green aura until you have full health or if you bump into an enemy (note: some enemies can also use the sad, angry, and happy moods changing how they fight). All these moves use up your vibe meter which can be filled by eating enemies, collecting blue jewels and can be extended along with your health, you can also buy moves, music, puzzle pieces, and minigames. Also, you can collect puzzle pieces, music, and toads in every level minus the bosses where you collect the character who is captured and the game tell you if there is something in the room by having Peach act surprised on the bottom screen.
LIKES The music is rather nice and I like the subtle touches like Perry looking scared when you activate the anger, happy, and sad heart. Also, the bosses were rather fun to fight since you need to use your abilities to beat the bosses, such as using your tears to fill Petey Pirhana ala Mario Sunshine and I like how Peach reacts on the bottom screen for some scenarios and when you change your mood. Also when you beat a stage it leaves a star on it if you collected everything and there is more content after you beat the game.
DISLIKES/NITPICKS The game is rather easy, the green and orange heart make most of the difficulty mute and the final confrontation against Bowser is locked away unless you collect every Toad from every level of the game, there are eight worlds but it is the basic Mario levels (ie grassland, desert, jungle, etc).
VERDICT By the end, is Super Princess Peach worth hunting down a copy... Yes but... The game is fun, yes and the way Peach expresses her feelings when she changes her mood is cute but the game is not exactly challenging, which is not a bad thing Kirby games are mostly easy but still fun but some would want a challenge, but since the only challenge is to find the toads, music and puzzle pieces it is not easy to recommend for everyone. But this is my silly opinion but I'm still glad I got it and who knows maybe they might make another game in the future featuring the other princesses (let me dream kay). Thanks for reading.
